I have to say 1) the food was delicious and fresh even for 3:30pn-4pm on a Friday. It was filling they gave you large portions . I watched this young lady help this Older Couple and WAS #1 in my book for being so Nice Helpful and Just overall great with this couple . She opened the door for them as the Gentleman was in a wheelchair (his wife so tiny). The Young lady was helpful in the selection and explained what all was offered... she explained what all came on the couples order... She Sat them down to a table and brought them their food as well as their drinks! that there was Customer Service at its finest. Happy Friday! There should be so many more people like her( Shantell). Even though there's not a lot I can eat at Moe's, my husband likes to come here--and I do, too! The app is nice--points don't expire and there are often freebies. Today and tomorrow, it's BOGO for an entrée! Dennis got a Stacker with steak; Tyrese got a Homewrecker burrito with chicken; I got a build-your-own burrito with the only things I can have: vinegar-marinated chicken or tofu, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and black olives. LOL. Everything was fresh and delicious. I like that they have two fruit juice concoctions in addition to the iced teas and sodas. We had not eaten outside before and it was fun. They do keep it chilly inside, though, which is good most of the time for Florida weather. read more

I am a regular here at Moe's and especially this location. I love Desire the manager and staff. Today however, when I came in... Sunday at 2:00 in the afternoon I was totally mortified and disgusted. Obviously there's NO manager on duty today or at least while I was there. The entire restaurant was a mess... a mess!I felt sorry for the customers that were sitting at dirty tables with trash all around them. Absolutely unacceptable. I am vegetarian and seriously reconsidered getting queso when I saw what looked like meat and grease that had been dropped into it. There was meat and meat grease oil all over the place. For a vegetarian that is so off putting! Y'all need to get that place cleaned up, for real!! Just came to the restaurant for a to-go order. Sunday 12/22/19 The restaurant was absolutely disgusting! I don't even know where to begin. There was only one employee that I saw the entire time I was there and when I questioned him about being the only one working his exact words were, "everyone else is in the back sitting, doing nothing" Dirty floors, tables not cleaned, trash and food on the floors. The food looked gross, rice was dry, beans were dry and burned. There was food all over the area where the food is prepped. There was cross transfer of food and let me just say, for a vegetarian that is inexcusable. I was so disgusted by the look of the restaurant I left. This is the last time I will be at this location. Pathetic training program. Long haired employees not wearing any type of hair covering. Some food handlers wear gloves but yet some do not. One employee was testing food temp and not cleaning the thermometer properly. Then when you say something to them they look at you like "sorry I don't have a clue". After which they walk to the back, talk bad about customers thinking they can't be heard. Next, if you want your tables cleaned bring a wipe. They'll gladly sit in the back and let you clean them. read more

Against my better judgement, we went ahead and ordered Moe's again, but I'm left feeling like I should have stuck to my guns. We ordered a homewrecker burrito, two sets of 3 tacos on flour tortillas, and a large fountain drink. I wound up with a bottled coke and the tacos all lumped together in one bag, all on corn tortillas that disintegrated with the first bite, and ingredients that were almost refrigerator cold. The burrito somehow managed to be what we ordered, so at least we had that going for us, which is nice. read more

This place is going downhill fast. Mark my words, Fleming Island location will close down within a year if they don't change things around. First off, the place looked dirty and felt grimy/dirty when being in there. The top of the glass partition where they are making your food was filthy! Grimy! We should've left right then and there but for some stupid reason, we stayed. The guy making our quesadillas was so skimpy with the protein and toppings...like a half scoop of chicken! I didn't notice this but my wife did...the girl taking our food off the griddle and cutting the quesadillas wasn't wearing food service gloves. We will not be back...ever. Came in here during lunch hour on Saturday and there were only two employees working. They were moving very slowly, and when a third employee came in there to help out, he was moving very slow as well, as if there wasn't a line out the door. The store seems to be run by a bunch of kids and there was no manager in sight. My food was cold and they didn't even give me the salsa with the chips. Not going to return here again. read more

Still in the pandemic, we decided to give this Moe's another try...this time one of the female employees with short brown hair was preparing food on the front line without a mask potentially breathing COVID onto everyone's meal she was involved in. When asked why she wasn't wearing a mask the answer was because it's hot and that she did have her temperature taken prior to her shift starting. Unacceptable actions and response. While the employees were nice, they seemed like they were overwhelmed with the amount of orders they had coming in. It may be how they were trained, but the amount of food that they put on the shells is smaller than a kids portion. Maybe a tablespoon of beans? This location was out of hard taco shells, lettuce, and mushrooms. What?? The location was not very clean, and that may have been because they were busy. But the floors had food all over them, the food prep line needed a wipe down, and all the food needed to be refilled. Food tasted good when we got home, but this location needs a serious update, and they should do a better job of making sure foods are in stock. read more

I've been to a few Moe's around the USA, I will say this Moe's....This Moe's right here! Customer service and their food is almost always on top of their game. I like coming here after a long days of work, the kids are famished and my honey want's a Joey Bag o' donuts. The atmosphere is friendly, its quick, consistent and its an upgrade from Taco Bell. I probably go once or twice a month because the queso will make me the next stay-puffed-pillsbury dough boy if I go there on a regular. What also sticks out to me is that they do a lot with their community and bringing organizations that do good things for the youth to utilize their facility, like fund raisers, get to gethers and other things like that. We called on the way and were told they close at 10:00, but when we arrived at 9:30 we were told we can't join the dozen other diners who were eating in the lobby because "you know we close at ten, right?" Every time I visit this Moe's, I think "it can't get worse than this." For some reason unbeknownst to me my dad loves Moe's and likes to send me to get it for him and after tonight's visit he got an ultimatum- if he wants Moe's he has to go get it. I expected them to be dead since it's Taco Tuesday at Tijuana Flats across the street but it wasn't. I was ordering to-go for myself, my brother, and my dad. I should have known it would be a rough visit when I told the girl my brother's chicken club quesadilla as it comes and she looked at my like a crazy person. Anyway, the other girl told her what it came with and we kept moving. They were out of shells for salads so that held up the line as well. The woman behind me wanted pinto beans and then mushrooms so they had to wait for fresh containers of both of those. They were 5 or 6 people making food but when I headed to the register, no one. There was a guy who had done an online order waiting in front of me. Not 1, not 2, but 3 different employees came over to ask him what he had ordered. One of the guys handed him his food and then disappeared. Finally a different employee came over to help me. At this point I was asked again if my food was for there or to go (1st, I ordered 3 meals, 2nd I told them when I walked up it was to-go, and 3rd, she had already asked me more than once). I also had to ask for the 2nd time for a side of queso. I finally paid (nearly $28 for 3 entrees) and, because of all the confusion and question asking, figured I should step to the side and make sure I had everything. Good thing I did because the container holding my salad wasn't even close to being closed. The food is just not worth the disastrous service at this location. Either go across 220 to Tijuana Flats or find another Moe's. (Also, it's been reported to Yelp but the map/address are WAY off, there is no Moe's where the map shows) read more

Not worth the price. Posted a pic of my $11 burrito. Yes $11, it was just a steak burrito, base price was $8.39, and there was a up charge for guacamole of $2.89. What mexican restaurant charges that much for something that should already be on a $8 burrito?! The steak had no flavor and was cut in chunks like stew meat. The burrito was maybe 5-6 inches long and half of the inside was folded up tortila. 6 chuncks of meat and so much guacamole that every bite was all guacamole! The guy behind the counter said he didn't know about online orders and I should just wait. He never asked my name and walked away. Several customers came, ordered, and were served. Other online orders came and left. I asked again. Same guy said he didn't know. I asked for a refund. He called some woman over. She promptly found my order in the system and told me they don't refund online orders but she was calling g to ask how. She was quite rude. Ten more minutes. Great Moe's location, in the middle of the Fleming Island shopping area. Parking is a bit cramped, but there is a big lot right across the main "street", so I always park there. The workers are always friendly, and usually recognize me (I'm there at least once a week). The food is always fresh, except the rice sometimes sits too long and gets a little "crunchy." This seems to happen a few times a year, and then they probably get complaints and they get rid of it a little quicker for a few months. But the burritos are good sized, and if you are feeling a little hungry you can add some extra toppings, or just eat more chips! I've tried all of the meats except tofu (silly, that's not a meat) and fish (I just can't bring myself to try a fish taco, even though it seems to be popular), and several different kinds of dishes. The tacos are a good size for a large snack, or get two and make it a meal. read more
