My experience started out ALL BAD! I ordered a side salad and large nachos with no meat for my son and I to share. I was already in a bit of a bad mood because my drink was so packed with ice I could barely get my straw in (grapefruit juice). I hate that! Anyhow, come to find out my supposed to be meatless nachos had meat in them. I specifically told the girl like 5 times no meat. There's nothing I could have done to make it clearer. I gotta be honest, I was PISSED! She might as well have just spat in my food right there at the table. I wanted to just leave, but being 35 weeks pregnant and starving that wasn't really an option. The manager made it right though. Even though I feel bad about getting free food. That's the only train I hate complaining, I don't want them to think I'm just trying to get a free meal/discount. 10 minute wait to be greeted and slow service. I quickly remember why I stopped coming to this location.

Chili's has great food, fun atmosphere. Waiters and waitresses are very coutious and helpful.

Should've read the reviews before coming. I was generous and gave 2 stars because a couple servers were nice, but really. You shouldn't ever compromise service because it's a busy night. We waited a long time (1 hour) and about 30 min for our food which wasn't that great! I had a steak. It was awful. Full of fat and very poor cut. That's what I get for going to a restaurant that doesn't specialize in steak. In addition to that, my other party members had a greasy steak and one had to sub out ribs for another meat because they ran out of ribs and it was only 6pm. Oh! Food and drinks were fabulous, my server was awesome. I came with my two little ones who sat and ate with no problem. I will however say that if you're looking for adult time. I'd suggest you sit at the bar. The table next to me couldn't seem to control their kids, so every few seconds I would have to look over and make sure they didn't bump into our table. We eat at Chili's all the time. Haven't been in awhile. Decided to come tonight. Sat in the booths at the bar. Knew going in service would be slow, but tonight was crazy. Server took our order. I ordered chicken fajitas. My husband and daughters food came out. Not delivered by our sever. But mine never came. Our server never came to check on is so I could tell her my food wasn't brought out. I had to track someone down. Finally told server my food wasn't delivered. By the time my food was delivered my family was done. The manager never came out to check on us. Not once. Comped my food but never came to apologize. Nothing. We didn't want free food...we wanted a manager and server who actually gave a damn. So pathetic. I told our server how disappointed we were. She saw me filling out the complaint thing on the computer. Her comment "I'm sure that's gonna be bad". Just crappy all around. We will not be back. We have not been to that Chili's again. The one up the hill in Victorville has amazing service and manger came to check on us. Just to see how we were. Too bad they aren't all the same. read more

This place has a major hygiene issue. They don't keep the tables and dishes clean from grease. If they don't keep the dining area clean, imagine how dirty it may be in the kitchen. Foods were consistently "not bad" just like any other Chili's restaurants. read more

Came here and our food got lost but honestly it was Mother's Day and the place was packed so me and my family were just relaxing waiting for our food . The manager payed for our food because it took so long . These people care about their customers and that is the most important thing. Will defiantly come back any time. The Chili's on Summit had always been my favorite location up until recently. The past few times I have gone (beginning mid April) the service has been sub-par and it seems as if they have downgraded the quality of the food. More recently, I ordered food through their website online to pick up in store. Once the order was picked up, we realized a few major items were missing. I called to ask what can be done and was forwarded from a hostess to the manager. I explained the situation and he immediately offered a gift card as a comp. He asked for my information and had trouble hearing my address, (of course, due to the volume within the restaurant). He seemed to be rushing me, but as I was on the phone, my family realized a few other items were missing and I asked if those few items can be included in the comp. He cut me off to tell me "Well, how can I give you extra comp? You don't even know what I am "giving" you on the gift card, you don't even know how much I am giving you so how can I..." I responded by telling him that I cant even ask for "extra" because he never clarified how much of a comp we would receive. Once he told me, I was weary of the attitude he gave us, and his inability to hear my address correctly so I asked for email confirmation to ensure that we would receive our comp. He responded by telling me that all I could do was call back within 5-7 business days if we have not received it. Frustrated I said thank you and hung up. I never write reviews on Yelp, so clearly it's been quite a few instances that have led up to this. I don't know if they are under new management, or are switching things up, but it's definitely for the worst. I would not be surprised if they were closed down within the next year. read more

First time at this location and both my wife and I really had a pleasant experience. Very clean and well maintained. We were told it would be a 10 min wait and we were seated before the 10 mins were up. Prompt service and our meals were both very delicious. Definitely recommend eating here, I know we will be back soon. read more

Horrible service. The front host was walking so slow and didn't have a care in the world that the line was out the the door. With open tables throughout the restaurant you would expect to have people of small parties seated first and she didn't even do that. This is by far the worst Chili's. It has happened over the course of this past year. Don't know if it's due to a manger change or what but the amount of time I have to wait for my food is ridiculous. Especially when I'm sitting in the bar clear sight into the kitchen and see other wait staff reach and grab around my plate that had been sitting there for at least ten mins and have it deliver to me cold. I try to come at different times/days in the hopes something will change and it never does. The poor bartender is all by herself trying to man the whole restaurants drinks and run out food. That's ridiculous. I will never come here again if I ever work up the nerve to want Chili's again. They just leave a bad taste. Plus they can never cook your steak right. I shouldn't have to order it rare and constantly send it back in the hopes they get it right like the manger told me. How about just cook it right to begin with? I went here with a family group a couple months ago. Appetizers took a long time to shop up. I ordered a plate of half ribs with spicy dry rub, and something else, not memorable enough to remember, but at least not that bad. The ribs had little meat, and were dried out. The cole slaw was warm; it was obvious my plate had spent some time under heat lamps. I presume the only reason this place is still in business is that there is a lot of fairly new housing in the area, and people haven't found the good local restaurants. read more

i walked into chilis with my husband and 2 children around 9pm today . the restaurant was very empty only the bar was occupied . several servers walked past us and none of them spoke to us or tried to help seat us . we stood in the front of the restaurant for about 20 minutes with a baby and a 4 year old and all the employees could care less . so we left . i will never be back and i would never give my hard earned money to a crap establishment like this location . read more

Dear Chili's of Fontana, I really learned a valuable lesson today. I gathered with friends for my birthday lunch. After wishing me a Happy Birthday, the server brought me a "free" scoop of ice cream following our lunches. Of course, this "free item" was charged to my bill. Also, we were told we could use a "free dessert" coupon that appeared in my e-mail. We specifically asked our served if we could use it. She told us, "of course," and showed us how when we paid our bill. However, when I used the little machine to pay the bill, we discovered that the server told us incorrectly (whether she was rightly informed or just decided to tell us the wrong thing). Upon using the machine, it told us that we didn't qualify for this free dessert since our lunches were not honored as "adult meals." Even though I gave our server a 20% tip, I learned a valuable lesson. We will go somewhere (ANYWHERE) else for our meals--because this restaurant doesn't stand by what they tell the customers. NO STARS! (Even though the food was okay, but not great). read more

Wow this place is terrible!!! SLOW SLOW SLOW and awful service!!! Took forever to get our food and they weren't even good!!! I ordered the Tilapia with rice and it was nasty, the rice was hard and burnt and the fish was gross!!! My kids got the baby back ribs and they didn't liked them either, too salty and over cooked!!! Even my little one's Mac n Cheese was dry and tasteless!!! My husband had the sirloin steak and it was nothing special. He asked for some steak sauce and the server never came back for it so we had to ask the greeter at the door to bring us the steak sauce!!! We didn't even want to eat our food anymore, we just wanted to leave the restaurant so badly that we just asked for to-go boxes!!! Even getting our check and paying for it took longer that it should!!! My kids and I just left an waited in the car for my husband to pay the bill!!! I've read some of the reviews about this place and it seem like most complaints are about very slow and poor service!!! You would think management would've taken these complaints to heart and make some improvements! read more
