My favorite restaurant, service is good, I go there for baby back ribs and they're delicious.

My daughter and I went for dinner at about 8:30. We were promptly sat and then just as promptly forgot about. A Waiter served food at tables near us on both sides. After about 15 minutes a party of six was seated and they were placing their order and we were not even offered drinks. I told the hostess who sat us three tables away from her station that we were still waiting. She obviously didn't remember seating us and she had only sat one other table during the 15 minutes. She said, " I will tell them." We waited a little longer while the hostess spoke to someone near the kitchen (them I suppose). We still didn't get service. I admittedly didn't wait much longer, maybe 3 to 4 minutes. Twenty minutes is a long time to sit in restaurant without so much as a glass of water or even a word. If they were just too busy, which didn't appear to be the case, then a word would have helped. They just walked by us like we were invisible. So we got up and left. I will say the service is atrocious. There is not an acceptable excuse for ignoring a customer when service is your business. I can't comment on the food since we didn't get any. read more

Three people asked if we were helped. None of them actually helped. I finally got my name on a text list, after losing several tables. Very frustrating. There is no indication of how you are supposed to get in queue for a table. Really got upset when the lady said she would seat me right away, then the next one said 15 minute wait. In my own mind, I have something of a three-tiered system. For restaurants that try to be top quality, that's one tier. For sit-down chain restaurants, that's another tier. And then for fast food restaurants, that's another tier entirely. Yesterday we ate at this Chili's; that would be a tier two kind of place. For that tier, they have to beat Denny's. Chili's manages that very well. Yesterday, I had this soup that was new to me, a sweet corn soup, which I found to be excellent; I followed it with their standard bacon cheeseburger, which they overcooked a bit. Edible. I'm not fond of their french fries, though. I think that they taste like they'd been frozen and then fried. Overall, for me it was a good experience. OTOH, my wife wasn't at all happy with her sandwich which consisted of steak in a pita roll; her meat was burned. Comparing to Denny's, this was much better. Comparing to the meal that we'd had the night before at a gourmet restaurant, this was much worse. So, there you are. read more

Had lunch here yesterday around 3, every thing was fine. Myself, my husband and 4 year old daughter were sat at a both right behind the host stand. The service was great and the food was great at first. My husband ordered the new chicken strip meal with blue cheese and buffalo sauce. It was cooked well and was crisp. Except it gave him food poisoning, BEWARE OF THE CHICKEN STRIPES. Most of the night and still as I write this he is in the bathroom sick as can be. I'm just greatfull our daughter did not try any of his food. This a really disappoint because we go to chili's about once a month as a treat for our daughter. We have dined at several Chili's restaurants and the visits are always just average..... We are never disappointed, but we are never blown away either. This visit was no exception. I was very happy with my meal and drink, the Mr thought his was just so so. He had the Chicken Ranch Sand which with Avocado added. I had the Smothered Smoked Chicken Burrito and thought it was very delicious. It was also huge and I took half home and it heated up great the next day too. The berry margaritas are really great too - I ordered the Triple Berry this time and on another visit the Pineapple Blueberry - both really great. Sad, very sad. I live a block away, so I frequent this chilli's often. Every time I get more and more disappointed. The food is subpar and the staff is just about awful. You spend majority of your time here being ignored by your server and forced to wait over 20 mins just to get a water refill. Sad to say, but I won't UPDATE: we came back in just for soup and salad, we've been here over an hour!!! Doing what? You guessed it waiting. We waited 30 mins just for her to come back to the table so we could pay, because they're kiosk at the table never work. When did they get tablets to browse the menus and for payment? What I found strange was the fact that the server was trying to promote unlimited games for I think 99 cents? What happened to the gold old days of having good conversations instead of being tied to technology. The water was pretty bad. We had to order an iced tea to get the taste out of our mouths and even then it wasn't great. The food was mediocre. My go to dish, the country fried steak was overcooked. Our server didn't come by at all to check on us. Was kind of glad we could just close out the bill on the tablets, pay and leave. Disappointing customer service with Judy the manager. After getting home with my to-go order we realized that we were short an entree. Called to let them know that we were short our 1/2 each of ribs and that I was headed to pick it up. Once I got there Judy, the manager, asked if I had my bag of food with me. When I replied I didn't, and that I left it with my family to eat dinner, she said "well, we don't have an extra rack of ribs here, are you sure you checked the bag?" Pretty much insinuating that I was lying about $12 1/2 rack of ribs. Geeezzz, let see, missing dinner with my family only to drive 5 miles away (for the 2nd time) to "steal" some extra ribs. She acted like she did me a favor to refund my bill on ribs that I didn't receive and never even offered to replace them for the inconvenience of it all. Will NEVER eat at this place again. And to top it off - this was all happened after I pointed out a hair in the container of our salsa when picking up my original order. $12 worth lost future business?! So they had me waiting well over their said time for a single seat at the bar that was empty. I called inside no one answered. Almost everything was great and enjoyed workout issue, waiters and waitresses always had refills on lock, and the food was made exactly how everyone ordered it. Some new things I've never seen before like tablets with free games on them for kids were at the tables. This was once one of my favorite restaurants. But sadly the food has gone downhill. The buffalo boneless wings are the equivalent of frozen from the grocery store. The guacamole was horrible and my trio appetizer platter was anything but appetizing. My son had a salad that was completely haphazardly thrown together and was more like a side salad than an actual entree. It is disappointing what has become of this establishment, as it was among the first of restaurants North of the 10 on Litchfield in Goodyear. read more

I can't express how upset I am with this eChili's. Me and my GF been going to Chili's for a long time and decided to order curb side during these hard times to support local restaurants. I order the sirloin steak with broccoli and the steak was over cooked and the broccoli was raw. My gf also order 4 PRESIDENTE margaritas to go which was the worst mistake. They gave her 4 bottles of Sauza liquor instead of presidente and two bottles of Brandi and only one tall cup of margarita mixer which was barely enough for two margaritas. So we decided to call in and speak to a manager and the manager was not trying to assist in any way. My gf was trying to be reasonable but the manager kept and making excuses or rebutting everything she had to say. One of his answers was"well we put ice in our margaritas" yeah! no shit sherlock ‍EVERYONE does. It was obvious he wasn't trying to help so my GF hung up on him. It's very upsetting because we even tipped over 15% knowing these are hard time for a lot of people in the restaurant industry. I can keep on ranting but I think who ever reads this gets the point. Very disappointed with chilis, I had to scan a code to see limited menu on my phone. How ridiculous is that, give out paper menus like a lot of places do. I asked for no mustard on my burger and it had mustard on it. I had to wait forever for a new bun that had no mustard on it. I went to this location at 3PM on a Thursday to grab some food and do some work while I was waiting for my next appointment. In order to do a little work I needed a booth with a power outlet. I went into the bar and they said that the only table's with an outlet were in the dinning room. So I went to the host/waiter and ask for a table with a power outlet. I was then told that there wasn't a server in that section so I couldn't sit there. I said that I needed a plug for my computer and that is when I was told that I would probably need to go somewhere else because they can't help me. WOW!! Took my friends whom drove from the East Valley for dinner. I called ahead to see if there was a wait - I was told 20 mins. Awesome for a Saturday - Covid Times. So we decided to go to Chili's. Then I asked to see if we can get on a waitlist or call ahead seating, It appears they don't know their information because I just noticed on the Yelp website for this particular restaurant you could have been on the Waitlist. So because I had guests & the last thing you want to do is go restaurant hopping to find the quickest/ least wait times. So we went to Chilis again when putting our name in it was told to us 25 mins. Which was fine. About an hour later & seeing people leave. I didn't want to be disrespectful but I did point out to the host that people sat themselves in the bar area, when I specifically saw it open as well when we arrived & was told we had to put our name in that for you. So not only did our place get stolen & host rubs it in by letting us know he has "no control" over it. No you are a teenager that doesn't know how to take care confrontation is which part of customer service in the restaurant business. & then he had the audacity to sit another couple before my group when they arrived way later than us. To say the least I was pissed. & now debating if I should write a letter to the manager & corporate office, and advise to comp my meal for my entire check for the very inconvenience. read more
