I called made reservations to the one right up from the hotel, was supposedly first on wait list with 15-20 of our family in town for a wedding. The app doesn't allow for anymore then 9 and then gives you a message to call because of large group. Ok, no problem, I called, explained we had 15-20 people in group, we were right down the road at Red Lion Inn, and they said great, see you at 2p... We get there, the guy at the front looked lost, had to go get the manager, manager comes out and she says we aren't on a list. I proceed to show her we are 1st on it on the app... she proceeded to hunt for a Chilli's listing on my phone mind you, and said you are suppose to go to deer Valley, what the hell would I go to deer valley if we're in Goodyear and the weddings in Goodyear??? Stopped in here last night for someplace different than our usual places. I tried the new craft burger and she had a mexican salad of some kind. She really liked the salad and the Smoke House burger was pretty good a bit on the overcooked and dry side. They never asked how I wanted the burger cooked so I thought I would see what they would do. My husband became violently ill from food poisoning after eating the chicken salad there last evening; both vomiting and diarrhea! He is still ill. We did have an excellent, very attentive waitress and the service was prompt. I don't know if the lettuce was contaminated or if it was due to the cook's contamination. I am so very disappointed because we have enjoyed the food before. Maybe the public health department can figure out the source of the food contamination. I did call the general manager, who was very attentive and will follow up on investigating the possible source of the contamination. She did say she will send us coupons to reimburse us for the cost of our meal. read more

This Chili's is probably the worst Chili's ever. I was having diner/ happy hour at the bar area. We ordered our drinks and some appetizers. We received our drinks at a decent time. We received one set of appetizers, southwest egg rolls and Chips and Salsa, at a decent time. We are eating our egg rolls and it had PAPER IN THE ROLLS. I explained to the server who apologized and brought me a new order when the food we ordered and the Texas Fries also came when the food we ordered got to our table. WAIT GETS BETTER. Drank 2 beers in an 1 in a half the whole time waitress never came around. WAIT , we get our bill and the Southwest egg roll that had the paper in the food was taken off, but the other replacement that was brought out to us was on the bill. Waitress told us you ate it, so you should pay for this. I promise I am not making this up. No manager came and talk to us or anything. Then I explained to her if she was serious about charging us. She said yes and she gave me a 3 dollar discount. I said at this point no need to argue over 6 bucks and she told me well you are. I was like ok, must me having a bad day. I called the Manager and Jeff talked to me. He was very apologetic and wished he would of known about this. He refunded my money and apologized. I would never attend this Chili's again or make sure you double check your food. read more

Uhg. I have not gone to Chili's in a few years. The service is poor, food is so-so, and priced a bit high for what you're getting. And recently I tried them again.. they are consistently disappointing. Waited 15 minutes after sitting for drinks. Waited 40 minutes to order. Received food 1hr 15min after sitting. Took my sister's and mom out on Saturday for dinner and three people walked past us at the door after standing for 10 mins someone asks have u been helped and we said no oh okay I will be right back he comes back and to seat four I have to clean a table we said okay and then the other hostess comes up and we ask her how much longer til we are seated and she takes her Starbucks and ignores us so we decided to walk out she comes back up and say have a great day. We came to Chili's instead of Macoroni Grill because my girlfriend received a gift certificate from her work and we had the choice between the two. Needless to say we made the absolute wrong decision. My girlfriend ordered a 6oz Sirloin with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. I ordered the mix and match combo with a half rack of ribs, steamed broccoli, and mashed potatoes. The ribs were served cold, the mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box, and neither one of our steaks had any flavor whatsoever. The best part of the meal was the broccoli, how pathetic is that. The only reason I am giving this place 2 is our Bartender Malissa is a Rockstar! If we ever go back to Chili's it will be to belly up to the bar and drink adult beverages served by Malissa. Great service, terrible food! read more

We like coming to Chili's, food is decent for a decent price. Today was disappointing! Taylor was our server and was beyond poor. She was rude about everything from asking for a minute to look at the menu as we were seated to ordering drinks, all the way through paying the bill. If you come here I would advise avoiding Taylor's section if possible. I know we will be making the extra 8 minute drive to a different Chili's, if we decide to go back. If you don't want to be friendly, you should not be in customer service, plain and simple. read more

The food was good. It's a step up from years ago. The female service was nice. But the water was terrible. It's the worst water I've ever had in my life. When we told our waitress she told us that everyone complains about it but it's filtered and it's just how Arizona water is. I've lived in AZ for over 26 years. I've NEVER had such terrible water. It tasted like like dirty public pool water with extra chlorine. It leaves a residue on your tongue. I felt sick which is why I just wanted h20 but since my entire party hated it we all got drinks. Which they charged us for. Maybe it's a sloppy sales strategy. But I wouldn't feed that to my dogs. I could taste it through the drinks as well. I'd recommend a different location. read more

My Fiancé and I usually love coming here. We love Taz, Randy, and Chris specifically. But tonight. Oh boy tonight it was terrible. Since they have shut down the dine in seating they are now only delivery and curb side pickup. Understandable right? Well I'll tell you what I will never do that again. It was really busy tonight which is reasonable. But it took us an hour and a half to have our food SIT ON THE COUNTER. For 20 minutes just sitting there. I am looking at it because it looks a lot like our food but all the employees are running around so I can't ask if it's mine. Finally they say "oh I guess "my name" isn't here." When I have been standing next to the food and counter for 20 minutes. Then I tell them they never called my name and they argue saying they said my name, called my phone, and walked outside. When they didn't do anything like that. Nothing. And then they accepted they lied and just gave a half assed apology for lying. Plus all the managers were yelling at each other and being rude to both the employees and the customers. It was terrible. They had no communication system and no employee had a clear role on what they were supposed to be doing which made it extremely inefficient. People who order some crispers and a drink we're waiting for two hours for their order because of this terrible system they were using. It's obvious it wasn't designed for this much human traffic. On top of THAT. The food was ice cold. The desert was melted and hot (crazy right?) and the order was WRONG. Worst experience I've had at any restaurant. During this terrible pandemic. Do yourself a favor and please just go somewhere else instead of chilies. It'll save you all the trouble. read more

My fiancé and I went to dinner here the other night. We usually love coming here, but this was the second time our visit and dinner was less than appetizing. We were rushed to order our appetizer and dinner along with our drinks, the chips were extremely salty and our fries for both of our dinners were stale and cold. I have only come here to sit at the bar and watch hockey games. There's been the same bartender, Johnny, and he is all about the customer. We have always been treated attentively, he is on top of keeping the drinks refreshed, food served hot and makes sure everything is above satisfactory. I saw this place had some bad reviews, I can't vouch for anywhere but the bar service, but you will not be disappointed if you choose to sit at the bar. There was another couple sitting close by who made several good comments about the bartender as well. Great attitude, great service and he will make sure you're accommodated. I was watching a game to the side of us, and he changed the channel so I didn't have to watch with my head turned. Didn't even ask, he just did it. So yep, Johnny is a great bartender/server here. Had a late dinner last night around 9pm. I ordered the new crispy chicken salad, which I thought from the pic was more like a spring mix (my bad for not asking), but it was mostly iceberg, which was extremely limp & looked pretty bad. The waitress came back to ask how it was, where I normally wouldn't have even mentioned, I expressed my issues and she left for a minute & came back to replace the meal. Although she wasn't a bad waitress, had she been an exceptional waitress, she would have asked if I would like the same item or something different, but a while later I received another salad, still with the same lettuce & still not looking great, but better than the first. I did eat some of the lettuce & most of the chicken. I paid the bill and went home only to start getting really bad stomach pains & then violently ill for at least a few hours. Today still not feeling quite back to normal I decided to look up reviews and found someone earlier that day whose husband seemed to have had the same issue. Corporate should have an interest in protecting its brand, this location is the worst I've ever visited. The wait was 15 minutes for a table and hardly any customers. The waiter arrived after a few minutes and was very nice but then failed to appear until the food was served by another waitress. I've been getting the Quesadilla Explosion Salad at the Deer Valley Chili's since it debuted about 2 years ago, and it's my favorite item on the menu. Today, I decided to get it for dinner from the Litchfield Road location about 6 miles from my house. Big mistake. The portion size was about 1/3 less than I've been getting in the restaurant and the quality was horrible. The lettuce was not just limp, it was so old and soggy that it wrapped around my fork. I've tossed lettuce into my yard for my tortoises and come back hours later to find it in better condition than what was in my salad. This was my first and last visit to this location. read more

This was my second time here because the first wasn't that good. This place will not make The saying of " Three times the charm " at all. The first thing we noticed was that there was not that many people and thought that we would get served quick but I was wrong. I should have left when I noticed there wasn't to many people around. I thought that by now they would serve some chips and salsa while we were waiting for our food but they didn't. After a long while, we got served someones meal that we did not order. After we finally got served, some food was warm and some was cold like the ribs and chicken. My wife ordered a drink that was $9 dollars which was overpriced and in a small glass. Way overpriced for small portions and not worth coming here never again. Should have gone to Rudy's bbq , Texas Roadhouse or Hibachi Grill buffet than to have come here.
