We had two gift cards with $20 each, $40 total but was told we can only use one gift card per visit. Who buys $20 gift card to a restaurant to only pay part of the bill? For example, if I gave my friend gift card totaling $100 because I'd like my friend to order anything and pay nothing but was given $25 on four cards. This place is a joke. Don't order the nachos because they'll give you like 10-15 crusty moist tortilla chips with huge jalapeños on them and dried up cheese. I just wanted some nachos with dripping cheese, diced tomatoes, black beans, and some sour cream all on top. Instead, they threw 10-15 tortilla chips on a plate with lettuce and tomatoes under what they called "nachos." And then I asked the water about it, his name is Justin.. I told him it's not what I was expecting and he decided to throw some attitude this way. Justin's behavior towards me was unacceptable and I won't be coming here again. I decided to go to Chili's because I received a free dessert coupon in my email tonight however when I went to redeem it I was told I didn't order the right meal to get the desert free. This seems rude and the lady acted like it was coming out of her check personally. Food was ok, but just that..nothing to rave about. I called the store to notify a manager of the experience however the person who answered just placed me on hold for 3 min. I have not been there in a long time and now I remember why. My girlfriend and I had luunch there last weekend, and to our astonishment, we were treated to a delicious lunch. I ordered the soup and salad and my partner had tilapia, and both plates were very well prepared. The service was excellent, as our server came to our table to check on things often. But we arrived at the restaurant and waited for 5 minutes and no one even came to ask us how many in our party or acknowledged we were even there. I went and found someone who eventually took our phone number and told us it would be 15 minutes to be seated. I understand that..... the restaurant was at low capacity and we were finally seated we waited 14 minutes and no one came to take our drink order food order and it not like the place was full and it was busy. I have seen it packed and received better service than tonight. When I asked if someone was going to take our order I was told they were busy running food to tables. That would be fine if I wasn't sitting for 14 minutes and watching what they were doing. My wife, kids, and I finally just got up and left. On my visit on 3/5, our first table was very sticky in the bar. We moved to a booth as they slowly cleaned the booths. The party across from us was clearly over served and one woman was so loud I can't believe not a single bartender or server said anything. The woman proceeded to get in a screaming argument with another woman and the ladies and their husbands left. Our server was super inattentive the entire time. We thought they forgot our food, but a simple "it's coming, can I get you anything else" would have been great. Out of chips, salsa and drinks when the food arrived. Just came in, sat at the only seat at the bar that isn't next to someone. The bar-top clearly hasn't been cleaned off since the previous customer left. There are drops of ketchup and sauce. I can't even put my phone down on it. Want to order some food and it would be just great to be able to eat it on a clean surface. The beer is refreshing, but the only tip the barback will be getting is to please clean the bar-top after every customer leaves. Hopefully a more attentive barback will be here the next time I come. Walked in, no hostess to be found anywhere. The boyfriend had to chase down the waitstaff just for us to be seated. Then the girl who tried to seat us had to ask another server-a short, thin white girl with curly dark hair; unfortunately couldn't catch her name-if a booth was available on her side. She snarkily responded with 'no only closers have tables open,' ushered us to the bar section, points us to the last two booths open then promptly tells us we have our choice. The boyfriend then points out to her that the one in the corner is filthy. She then tried to argue with him saying it was clean. He had to point to underneath so she could see the filth under the table. It looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in WEEKS!!! It was so DISGUSTING!!!! She then just shrugged her shoulders and had a look on her face like it wasn't her problem and she couldn't care less && walks away. We walked to the other booth and it was clean, table and the floor underneath, but by that point neither of us want to eat here anymore so we don't even bother to sit down. We just left. Came here for lunch. They were very busy. The waiter was god awful. He brought me fajitas instead of lunch tacos I ordered. When he finally brought me the tacos they were on two stacked dirty plates. The cook literally threw my tacos on dirty unwashed plates. Not exaggerating. Crusted. Brown sauce splashed. Lettuce stuck to the bottom of the plates. I was instantly repulsed. I had to wait for him to come back and I told him it was nasty and I didn't want the tacos. I told him I didn't want this. He said "ok" and took the plates. He never apologized or asked if I wanted something else. He never even sent a manager over. He dropped the bill off while my gf was in the bathroom. Didn't say anything to me. Just dropped it on the table and disappeared. He took off my meal - so I only needed to pay for my gf's lunch. On the line for tip I wrote "your tip is in the dishwasher". Horrible food and horrible service!!!!!!! I had the steak and chicken fajitas either of the chicken was undercooked or it was processed because it was so oddly chewy, my husband had a sirloin which actually came out pretty decent for not being a steak restaurant (we typically eat fillets) my daughter ordered a cheese pizza and they brought out a cheese flatbread with tons of grease all over it. Our waitress (I have no clue what her name was because she never looked at us or even told us ) was horrible and ZERO personality!!! I thought about mentioning it to the manager but when the manager brought us the food even he looked miserable. Haven't been there in a while ( like over a yr) and now I know why. Oh and the sweetie was lightly brewed so basically colored water with a pack of Splenda. Chili's TOGO is awful! They have consistently messed up my order. ex) ordered fajitas and they forgot the tortillas. Forgot side of cheese. My quesadilla barely had meat and presentation was not appealing. My friends orders were bland and service during lunch hour was not good. I don't think our servers were to blame. I was highly disappointed with the hostess at this location. I'm giving it a one star only because I can't give it zero stars. I went in with my family and the hostess dos not greet us or even acknowledge our presence. She sprayed her dish towel and not once made eye contact with us. We sat there for about 7 minutes while she did everything else but acknowledge us. I was so upset about her lack of customer service that we ended up walking out. I will never go back to this establishment. I can only hope that the manager does a better job of hiring better qualified people that understand what their job title is. read more
