Found this place on yelp and the reviews looked great…read more We loved this place so much we came back three days in a row. The food and drinks were fantastic, and our bartender Leslie made the experience even better. The guacamole and birria empanadas were standouts, and the drinks were all great. We loved the cantarita, margaritas, Blue Hawaiian, and the spicy Bloody Marys. Leslie was friendly, attentive, and makes excellent drinks. And they put the Illinois men's basketball game on for us!! If I lived here, this place would definitely be in my regular rotation.

The restaurant is decorated beautifully, the staff are super friendly, efficient, and everything was clean. The menu is presented via electronic tablet, which was a unique experience, but I can only imagine this is expensive for the business to maintain. Regardless, I prefer this versus large paper menus or scanning a QR code to look up the menu. I decided on the Carnitas Fajitas for lunch which came to $14. This is a bit expensive for lunch but I did order Fajitas, so that's my bad, lol! The dinner portion is $22.50 which actually is priced competitively to other restaurants in the area. They do offer more affordable lunch options, but I decided to splurge a little. Our food was out in about 15 minutes and my fajitas were sizzling hot just the way I like them. It was well worth the $14 and I was stuffed most of the day after devouring this plate along with all the chips, salsa, and queso. There were four of us in the party and everyone was happy with their meal. Great Job Zacapa Team, we will be back soon!

Lovely Easter Brunch on the Patio…read more We came here for Easter brunch and had a really nice experience. I called about 45 minutes before arriving just to see if there was any chance we could get a table. They mentioned they were only taking reservations that day but were kind enough to squeeze us in for 1:30, which worked out perfectly. Raven was our waitress and she was wonderful. Super welcoming, friendly, and attentive the whole time without ever feeling overbearing. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad and the steak and eggs, and of course we had to order mimosas (two each... because brunch ). Everything came out fresh and tasty. One small personal preference, and this might just be me, but I would have liked the Caesar salad lettuce to be chopped a bit smaller instead of the larger pieces. Not a deal breaker at all, just something I noticed. The steak was cooked well. I wouldn't say it was the best steak I've ever had, but it was definitely good. What really stole the show for me was the chimichurri sauce. I could honestly eat that by itself with the potatoes, it was that good. We sat on the patio and were a little worried it might be too hot, but it was nicely shaded and they have fans going, so it was actually very comfortable. The only time we got a little warm was after our second mimosa... but that might be on us Overall, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

On Saturday's, they do a bottle of champagne for $20 and it wasn't the cheapest stuff in town! Our server was amazingly helpful, gave great recommendations and helped make our visit special. Everything is true farm to table so the menu rotates. But the dishes we had were divine. We split the savory crepe that was an egg crepe with mash potatoes, sausage and a sage brown butter sauce. Other item split were the haute pocket and steak flatbread. You can tell a lot of thought is put into the menu items and blending of flavors. We for sure will return!

In town on a work trip, my husband, and I decided to try this place out! What a wonderful surprise! From the moment you walked in the eclectic, industrial, modernized, warm, cozy feel welcomes you in. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we knew right away that this place was a find! A wonderful happy hour menu, led us to a full menu of what felt like a farm to table experience. I sadly didn't get to snap a photo of the excellent appetizer buratta, but it was a perfect blend of balsamic tomato and creamy cheese! I am a true foodie, and this was hands-down the best burger I've ever eaten. My husband absolutely loved his shrimp and grits, perfectly cooked and well balanced flavor. Well, I know everyone recommends the chocolate cake, I can't rave enough about the crème brûlée. Do yourself a favor and go out of your way to enjoy a " private chef experience" meal! You will be glad you did!

The restaurant is nicely decorated but the acoustics were horrible. It WAS SO LOUD that it made the dining experience suffer greatly. We sat upfront to avoid the noise but could barely hear one another across the table. But again the food was wonderful. Not a single dish disappointed. Many, many complements to the chef and his staff.

I ordered an espresso martini from one bartender. Another randomly made it without confirming, then absolutely spiraled when I asked about my drink. Instead of clearing it up, he chose public humiliation berating and talking down to me at the bar like I'd committed some unforgivable crime. Full medieval town-shaming energy. Shame bell not included. What were they busy doing instead of their jobs? Flirting with freshly-21 customers and openly staring at their chests. If you weren't new, young, or feeding their ego, you were invisible or worse, a target. Two grown adults behind a bar acting like sloppy, insecure children with alcohol and an attitude problem. No class. No taste. No professionalism. Just embarrassing behavior that would get you fired anywhere that actually cared about standards. Save your money, skip the humiliation, and go literally anywhere else.
