When I go to Chili's, I expect the food to taste like it's from, well...Chili's! Chain restaurants stake their reputations on keeping their food quality the same from location to location so you know what you're gonna get. Why folks complain about that boggles my mind. So whenever a middle-of-the-pack chain restaurant breaks the mold (and isn't serving it) I think it extra worthy of praise. On our most recent visit, we were served-up two outstanding burgers -- both fresh, piping hot and equally mounded with Swiss cheese, mushrooms and other fixings -- as good as you'll find in many of the trendier burger joints. And it was served with fries still steaming, at a most inconvenient time, on a warm evening just before closing. Excellent. read more

My husband and I went here last night for date night. I have worked the past 106 days straight so it was nice to get out just wish we never went here. Our waiter was great he was super sweet, but the rest of the staff is horrible. We ordered drinks and the bartender made them both wrong. I was a bartender in college, it's hard to fuck up a long island ice tea but this bartender manage to it tasted like citrus acid. Then our food comes, I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and they brought me a bacon burger with cheddar cheese. While explaining to the food runner this is not what I ordered, she is laughing asking me if I want her to take it back to the kitchen. Not sure what was funny but by this point I am super annoyed. So while I am waiting for my new burger to come out the manager does not come to our table once to apologize or recognize there was several errors made which is horrible customer service in fact she was hanging out and gossiping with the staff the entire time we were there and looked high on drugs ( I've been and ER nurse for 17 years I know what high looks like). I love Chili's but I will never come back to this one again and will encourage anyone mentioning going to pick another place. read more

I'll give a 4 star based on Corey's service & the food & drinks tonight during Monday night football at the bar! As for that stupid Electronic device on the table - disaster! When I tell you they charge you $1.99 for playing with this electronic device on the table & don't even tell you, it's just poor management not Corey! It takes away conversations amongst friends & families, we have enough technology we don't need it at chillis! You can even pay you bill or notify your server you need another drink - horrible/how stupid - why not Corey become a Mute!!! Seriously people! Came here with my son. Ordered some wings as appetizers. Unfortunately they came out lukewarm at best. Almost cool. But they did replace them. Staff was very nice. The rest of the meal was fine. I had a burrito and my son got a burger. Both were good. I would go again as they have a pretty big menu and I'm sure they have some better items. But for what we ordered it was just ok. read more

So I went to Chili's the other night with some friends and it was packed so obviously the service was slow, the waitress was nice though. I got the triple dipper with the original chicken crispers which seemed different this time and the honey chipotle chicken crispers that were barely crispy. Someone at my table ordered a tex mex bowl that was supposed to have avocado in it but the waitress didn't tell us they were out of avacado until AFTER she brought us our food. I had a mixed bag experience at this Chili's unfortunately. I'm gluten and garlic free so I came in and sat at the bar and chatted thru the menu with the waiter. We worked out a plan on what to order and he was very helpful and mixed up a delicious drink. Unfortunately, when the meal came, it wasn't to speck. He quickly, and without request, comped the meal. Very kind of him. I wasn't quite full, so I ordered a dessert. This seemed to take forever to get the cheesecake and the original order. I thought he did a pretty good job trying to take care of the situation, but the kitchen wasn't doing him any favors. I'll try them again if I'm in Smithfield, but hopefully the order is prepared correctly without any allergic substances on my plate ;) read more

What can I say.. I freaking love Southwest Eggrolls.. I know.. they shouldn't be that good, but they are. And I love Chili's.. yeah it's a chain restaurant, and I try on almost every occasion to pass my hard earned bucks on to small local establishments, but I still find myself rolling into Chili's about once a month. Usually on a Tuesday night after cheap movie night in Lincoln, it's right in the same plaza, its convenient and the bartenders are always super friendly. Even though the one guy, (can't think of his name) is totally the guy from Office Space... Our server Ricky was very inattentive and non social to us. We had gotten a order of chips and a dessert and had been in the restaurant for over an hour. Very sad to see I love coming here food was amazing but just poor service. Ricky our server had also removed his mask to talk with another table witch he was not waiting on. As far as chain restraunts go, this is a very good one. This review is specific to the bar area. We go there one every other month. The bar staff is always very fast and friendly, especially Reba. They remember what we usually drink. Free chips and salsa are always nice. Food is what you would expect, always good, never wow. But for the price, especially with the deals like 2 for 22, it is a great deal for the buck. Draft choices are ok, only downside is no cider on tap. read more

My husband, two children and I went tonight (5/30) to have dinner. My husband and I ordered the all you can eat fajitas. Although I only wanted cheese and Sour crm I was told I would get everything. We ordered our seconds which the tortillas came after five minutes and the skillets 15 minutes after! A skirt steak med rare does not take that long and by that time the kids were beyond done. I just walked out leaving my husband to pay and I sat in my car with the kids. This was ridiculous! I would not recommend going here unless you have a party of 5 or more. The waiters don't care. I work right next to this Chili's so I order food from here a lot. However I have not had very many good experiences. On 1-2-17 we had stopped in late to grab some dinner. Our waiter Adrian seemed much too distracted. It took a long time for him to come and take our drink order and even longer to bring them over. He just ran by and dropped the glasses without stopping. We don't usually frequent Chili's but my in laws love it and this is where they had decided to go for their 45th wedding anniversary. They are pretty spoiled with fantastic food residing in the Virgin Islands most of the year so my MIL tries to frequent her favorite chain spots as much as possible when she's in the States. With that said, they/we had exceptional service. The place was super busy, they said that they didn't have to wait much for a table in the bar area. The server was attentive, I had straggled in with my two year old after they had already begun eating and the server was still keeping tabs on our table and got our new orders in quickly. We asked if they could sing happy anniversary with a couple of their desserts to which they obliged and my daughter clapped and in laws enjoyed. What truly shocked us was that Chilis completely took care of the bill as a Happy Anniversary gift my frequent flyer in-laws and the manager visited the table with a number of glasses, a shaker and many other things. Very disappointed. I ordered Chillis to go. I was looking for a piping hot portion of the Chicken fajitas, sautéed with caramelized onions and all the necessary tools to creative an award winning masterpiece fajita. When I got home and took the food out of the bag, I opened the lid to look at a pile of chicken. I mean plain chicken like the stuff you get in your local supermarket. The cut up chicken that's in a bag hanging near the cheese and bacon. ALL of the food we ordered was cold and the taste of the food was poor. We all (4 of us) ordered the same thing (Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers) and each of our four orders all looked different, had different amounts of sauce and were different portion sizes. The music was way too loud and horrible song selection. Our server only took our order and refilled our soda, he did not bring our food. He took forever to bring and then process the bill. Ate here New Year's Eve and was actually not disappointed. I'm usually not a fan of chain restaurants, but Asia Grille was on and hour and a half wait and we had a movie to catch. I had put our name on the call ahead list at chili's and was glad we had a backup. The service was super friendly and the food not half bad. My husband was especially impressed with the guac and chips. Our server, Bridget was beyond horrible. Forgot what she was going to bring us multiple times, and took half an hour to bring us the split check. We had to ask her 4 times to take the chips that were accidentally included on it off, and to bring the proper checks. Each time we saw her hanging out by the bar staff laughing with the bartenders, and we had to send one of the busboys over to get her. Finally we just didn't care and went to leave - our car was parked near the rear entrance, and we saw her hanging out by the employee breakroom. Yikes!! This used to be my go to place for some fajitas but not anymore. They jip you on food so bad and the new spice they use is awful. The fajitas I got were literally one string of meat loaded with fat. I picked up one piece and the whole thing came up by strands and chunks of fat. Yuck! The service is awful and food is not far behind. I've never gotten good service at this location ever. Come to think of it chilis in general has awful service and awful management as well as sub par food that has somehow gotten way worse. We refuse to go here anymore. My wife and I have gradually gotten away from the chain restaurants over the years in favor of the family run ones. This chain however is still one of our favorites. The quality-to-price makes for a great value in my opinion, and one can eat pretty healthy or go with the comfort food. Additionally, there is a spacious bar area for those who want quick service and access to TV, as well as a dining area with ample seating. Service has consistently been good at this particular establishment over the years, a sign in my mind of good management and happy employees. Parking is not an issue here, with lots on three sides of the building. I've never had to walk more than a few feet to get to the door. Overall, this is one of our favorites places in Lincoln. read more
