You can't beat the loud, fun, free spirited ambiance. It's best for happy hour after a long day at work, or fun early dinner after a long day at school for the younger cats. It's even great for families to get together and laugh over some hot food & yummy drinks. It's AWESOME for a fun dinner and drink "pre-gamer" before you hit the streets for a night out in Miami! We always leave from there in a great mood, ready to take on the parties! The food is what you'd expect from a chili's, but always HOT, FRESH & READY in a short waiting time. They're very affordable, especially when squeezing a fulfilling dinner into your night's budget. The wait time for seating actually isn't bad at all considering how consistently PACKED they are. They manage to keep things moving at a steady pace. You gotta give it to the staff! Our Friday Family Night hang out. We always use the No Wait App, and we usually get a table within 5 minutes of physically checking in at the restaurant. All the waiters are super on it and friendly. We've gotten to know several of them. There's something for everyone on the menu. And the 2 For $22 deals...an absolute bargain. Love their loaded fajitas and the mango-chili chicken. Sometimes their Mango Tea needs more Mango, but other than that, this place is on it. Get there before 7pm on Friday nights though, cause after that it's absolute madness! read more

I feel really bad to have to write this review cause chili's has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat but unfortunately last night was my final straw. I've written a good review for the dadeland location because every time I go there the service is amazing and the food is even better but this location is lacking severely in customer service. I normally would've let it slide but the last two times my boyfriend and I came we have had the absolute worse service. In fact, when we walked in last night I turned to him and said oh no it doesn't look good. It was later at night granted (about 10:30) and they close at 11:30. If it hadn't been busy I would've left being it was an hour to close but it was busy and there were several tables that had just sat and more after us. Anyway, we sit and get our server. She doesn't introduce herself but quickly asks for our drinks. I ask her about the margarita of the month and she tells us what it is and also tells us the president is on special for $5. Cool! We both order a margarita and a water. She comes back with the water and we place our order. Here's where it gets bad. She informs us that there's only one of the appetizers we ordered. I order another one. She comes back and tells us there's no more "cause it's the end of the night and they're about to close" (mind you it's at this point 10:45 and there are tables next to us who haven't even ordered). Okay...... so I order a side salad. When I tell you she disappeared and came back not a second later with the saddest looking yellow wilted WARM salad that I could tell had been sitting there.... I work in a restaurant. Stevie wonder could see that salad was old! Me and my boyfriend just looked at it and pushed it away. Long story short we never got our drinks... shame cause I wanted to drink that night. She only came back once and by that time both our waters had been empty a minute. And this isn't the first time, last time we came same thing the girl never brought our alcoholic drinks (but still tried to charge for them!)and never came back until the end. All in all, I believe the difference here is the servers at this location simply don't care. They're all young and seem like they just mostly don't want to be there. I believe since the dadeland location gets better clientele their service is just better overall so we've made the decision to make the longer drive it's only about a 10 minute difference and start going to the dadeland location cause we're tired of bad service. It's a shame this location sucks cause it's closer to me but they just can't seem to get it together so my suggestion go to dadeland! read more

I went for drinks and dinner with friends and had horrible service with our waiter. Took 20 minutes for us to get water and barely served us chips. We ordered a second round of margaritas and he basically forgot we ordered them, brought them out right before we were going to pay. He also didn't mention that we had to order a dessert for 2 for $25 almost made us pay full price instead of the deal we had until we told him something. I never got his name but he was short, around his late 40s tan colored, hispanic and he never introduced himself with his name. read more

This is by far my favorite Chili's in Miami. Why? Because its my hangout restaurant here in Kendall, and they also have the best service compared to the other Chili's. The waitors are quick and friendly. The wait time for a table tends to be pretty long though up to 40 mins to and hour on most days. read more

It's just like most other Chili's restaurants out there. This particular location happens to get really packed, so you might be waiting for a while for a table. Because of the fact it gets so busy the service can tend to be a little on the slow side and the service can be a little lacking because the waiters and waitresses have to attend to a ton of people, so I don't really hold that against them too much. The drink specials are always good...I mean, who doesn't love a 2 for 1 special? The food is decent, my favorite happens to be the Big Mouth Bite Burgers....delicious little morsels. read more

Iza the waiter, was one of the worst waiters I've had at a restaurant. Not only was she super rude, she wouldn't let us explain our order to her. She made us wait more than 20 minutes to give us refills. When we were done with our food and ask her for boxes she took more than 15 minutes to bring us 2 boxes for left overs. I've never been so frustrated at a restaurant in my entire life. I've had bad services before but noting like this waiter. Chili's work on hiring respectful waiters or train them more to understand people's orders. read more

Chilis = terrible. Really, the place sucks. First, not vegan friendly in the least. And now for the two-for-one drinks. People, pull your head out of your ass. Chilis serves these 2-for-1 beers in 10oz. mugs. That's right, thrifty diner: 10.oz mugs. So you're getting 20 ounces of beer not 2-for-1, think about it. That's how they draw people in. People see 2-for-1 drinks and go crazy. As for the mixed drinks, they should be called grog because that is what they are: watered down alcoholic drinks. And on top of that, they use well liquor. Horrible customer service in the front...lady named daniela was SUPER RUDE..we had a call ahead and when it was our time, she came over and said all they had was a tight seat under a tv, which we didnt even fit. So when we told her we didnt fit she nastily said then your going to have to wait, i cant tell people to get up and walked away...when i asked the front guys how long he said 3 people ahead, 20 minutes AFTER THE APP said we were supposed to sit down, several not 3, but like 6 parties were sat down..if you have a call ahead program it should be at least somewhat accurate.....this is terrible service for WEEKLY REGULAR customers....i will think twice before ever giving my money to this establishment...went to macaroni grill, sat down within 5 minutes, even with a line...you need to train your front desk with basic MANNERS read more

I have been very reluctant to go back because I ordered a full rack 1 day and i found hairs on the rib and then I had a fly who constantly kept flying onto my food. Chilis is one of those restaurants that I go to mostly because it's close by. I've tried several dishes and none of them has really wowed me. I normally just end up getting the big mouth bites (good but not great). The service at this location is hit or miss. It depends on the day and the alignment of the stars. You just never know. One thing is for sure though you can expect to wait a long time for a table. Your best bet is to arrive before 6 pm. read more

This place used to be a good place to go to for dinner or drinks at least in my eyes. First as you walk in there is an odd smell as if it hasn't been clean thoroughly in a long time. My wife and I proceeded to sit down at a sticky table. But we stayed and waited for at least 15 mins for someone to come to even acknowledge us finally the waiter came over and the only reason they get two stars is cause of him. I haven't been here in years. With so many great restaurants in Miami, there is no need to end up in a chain restaurant unless of course, you are in a group of people and the majority decides it. Don't get me wrong, this is a fine southwest/tex mex place if you think The Olive Garden is great Italian place (sense the hint of sarcasm there?) The food is ok, the portions have been reduced drastically. If you get more than 3 pieces of meat or chicken in your fajitas, you are lucky. The service is sub par, at best and I find it ridiculous to have to wait half an hour for a table in a half empty restaurant. I don't think I'll come here again, unless of course I'm been dragged here. read more

I had an early dinner at Chili's yesterday! The place was pretty empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately. Seems I always pick the busiest times to dine at Chili's, so that was a first for me! Our waiter comes over and takes our order and he was a bit of a jerk..I swear I saw him roll his eyes when I said I only wanted water! He had a sour look on his face too...Sorry buddy..not everyone drinks in the afternoon! His service ended up matching his jerky personality, but I decided to stay quiet, as we would get our revenge later ;) We ordered tostada chips for an appetizer and it was served with guacamole and salsa. The chips were fresh and crispy, and the guac was awesome. It was better than the guacs sold at many Mexican restaurants, as it was spicy, and had a nice kick to it. We nibbled on the chips for a while, but couldn't finish it, as they give you a large portion. For the main course, I had the Cajun pasta with chicken and my friend had the Chipotle chicken crispers. Everything was excellent. The little squares of chicken in the pasta were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The cheesy cajun sauce on the pasta was also great. Again, the portions were large and we took home half our food. Chili's has definitely improved the quality of their food. I dined there a few weeks prior to this visit and everything was perfect at that visit (including the service)! I saw the waiter from my last visit after I was seated...I should have requested him! So back to the service on this visit... We were basically ignored, and none of our plates were ever cleared from our table (including the appetizer plates), so when the check came, jerky got a 10% percent tip. I wouldnt have docked his tip that much, but I wasn't the one that paid the bill. My friend (who is usually a very generous tipper) felt that was all he deserved and she wasn't changing her mind! We arrived here and checked in and were told it would be a 10 minute wait. We waited 15 minutes while 5 other parties were seated. So we asked what happened and were shown that we were removed from the list implying that we had been seated. So we demanded to speak to the manager and explained the situation, he sat us down on the spot. I've been coming to this Chili's for years. Whether it's been for a weekend dinner with my parents or a meal after church with my cousins on Sunday, this has always been one of my go to places for good food. That hasn't changed over the years. The meals here are still great and the new menu items add more variety to the meals you can order. My family and I enjoy the food every time we go to Chili's. So why does this Chili's get only three stars? The service. In my last few visits, I've received below average service. This last visit may have been some of the worst I've seen yet. The waitress wasn't rude, but she was barely paid attention to our table. Every time she came by our table, she acted as if she was trying to get back to talking to her coworkers. It didn't help that the manager seemed to be talking with the employees. It's sad to see the service at such a good restaurant deteriorate. I love Chilis! I can't ever go wrong with them. 2 for 1 drinks and the servers are always so nice! This night was super packed but as soon as I saw someone getting up from the bar area I jumped in before some one else did. The food is always good and if something isn't right, I send it back with no problem. This has always been the spot to go to when I was younger so I like eating here if I'm waiting for my movie to start etc. I had the trio appetizer that included southwestern egg rolls, boneless chicken, and fried pickles! They just passed you by and pretend to not notice you. They just noticed us when we started looking irritated. How can you come back to this place if the customer service sucks? I went her one Sunday night with my family. The only thing I order at Chillies is the fajitas which never seems to disappoint. However, the food quality over the years has really gone down. My sister ordered ribs which came out cold. My mom ordered a steak with wild rice that was not flavor-able at all. Towards the end of the dinner I asked my waiter who was extremely busy with more tables than she could handle but was very sweet for a refill of soda. When she brought it back I started to drink the soda only to find out there was a plastic lid inside the soda. This is not the first time this has happened to me at chilies with dirty cups. Them in order to get the food changed they take over 30 min to then either they tell you it will be 5 more minutes or they bring the food. His demeanor sucked and that totally explained the bad service and why people there could get away with it. This location surely and truly deserves 1 star but because my server was handsome (can't remember his name, but I don't recall him introducing himself) I'll give them 2, but even his service was off. My family and I went there expecting a good and hot meal, but what we got was room temperature and barely tasteful. It looked good, but was barely satisfying. When our server brought us our appetizers and the plates, I had to send them back because they were dirty. He took them away and returned with what he said were cleaned plates. After inspecting these plates for cleanliness, I realized that they were the same dirty plates from the first time (do not insult my intelligence). The silverware had small pieces of dry, eaten food. The experience all together was "blah". I've written all this to write that this by far has been my worst experience at a Chili's... I will not be returning to this location. read more
