Awesome place. great food. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. I've been going to Chili's 20 years now and they've been pretty consistent with food and service. Service was okay... Steak was cooked to order... Grilled chicken was a bit rubbery. Nothing special.. Just regular Chilis.

Did take out. And they ACTUALLY got the order correct. Loved the black beans and the steak tacos. The southwest Mac and cheese was good. The loaded spicy boneless wings were not spicy and I wasn't impressed nothing is go back for. The steak tacos were so tender and spicy and delicious. My kids love that Mac and cheese and garlic toast was soggy but they ate it. My husband loves their baby back ribs and they were spot on. read more

Very pleased with my food at Chili's. I enjoyed every single bite. I got the bacon burger. It was cooked to perfection. For the first time I had their loaded mashed potatoes and I was one hundred percent speech less with them. My food was filled absolute divine flavor. I was able to bring the wonderful tasting food hope for left overs due to their low pricing and great sizes. My waitress was very kind and outgoing she made sure my food would be cooked to perfection due to her asking questions to insure my satisfaction. I couldn't have been more pleased with my visit and absolutely recommend coming to Chili's for lunch or dinner as it has low pricing and perfect flavors. Awesome visit with Chili's. read more

I went there recently and the hamburger was a hockey puck after 45 minutes of waiting. The kitchen manager, Sharon/Shannon--whatever. She gave me an attitude and said she was really really busy. Then why come over to the table? She scared my daughter because my daughter is not accustomed to adults speaking to her daddy in a demeaning way. My daughter buried her head into my wife's side. The food is mediocre and on one occasion a few months ago my wife got a very upset stomach over their veggie burger. My complaint to the Connecticut Department of Public Health has already been lodged against this store. Their kitchen is disgusting . They did a huge remodel---but a pretty cover on a old bag of dirt does not make the dirt bad edible STAY AWAY. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Try Wood and Tap down the street. We went there on May 31st (Tues. afternoon), about a dozen customers total (booths/bar). We waited right in front of the desk, walkie talkies, crayons and menus were there... but NO EMPLOYEES! We looked thru the menu, planned our choices.... STILL NO SERVICE!!! We waited almost ten minutes at the front. Two more groups came in, they waited too. We left and honestly have no reason to return. We would've liked to have tried the food... but went to Red Robin instead and had a great meal and outstanding service! Although the wait might be over 15 minutes at time, my kids just love this place. Their Fajita Trio is excellent. We always order extra tortillas and all share. For desert you seriously cannot beat the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake! My wife will throw out any thoughts of dieting for this a dessert. read more

I'm giving them five stars simply because our waitress was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable just like they should be. She had an amazing personality to go with her great service! If I had the waitress of the family of four behind us that were very quiet and well mannered they would have nothing but a negative review. The woman nicely asked that she thought she was supposed to get sauce with her steak. The waitress snarled at her and said you just have to ask for it. And grumbled as she walked away to do her job and get the sauce. Then said waitress as she ran by the table asked if everything was okay the male said yes and the waitress said good and kept on running. Mind you I have worked as a waitress and know the challenges. They were not busy at all and the family were perfectly respectable even with the treatment they received. If I return to the restaurant and I have this waitress I will get up and leave. The Pizza my son ordered was very under-cooked, my wife's Ribeye was paper thin, over cooked, and way over seasoned. Service was so slow I just wanted to leave cash on the table and leave. Avoid at all costs!! The bar is the worst bartender service I have ever seen for a major chain restaurant. Have been there 2 different times and walked out angry both times. We didn't even get the chance to eat. We called 4 times for call ahead seating, trying to make it easier on a Friday night and each time the phone system hung up on us. We decided to try and reach to-go to see if that would go through and it did. When she answered, the first thing she said can you hold a few moments. 8 minutes later we got tired of waiting and hung up. We went somewhere else. We went to this Chili's on Saturday, my husband, 2 daughters, 4 yr old son & myself. The service was horrible!! They were not busy by any means but according to the server who came 10 minutes later (after having gone to the table next to us 3-4 times) seemed to think they were. I have never been somewhere that I was actually in the process of leaving without ordering anything. Then when she finally did show and we ordered she brought everyone else's drinks but mine. We received appetizers and still no drink for me. Everyone ordered their dinner medium rare, received well done. Oh and still no drink for me. I was probably a quarter of the way done with my meal before she showed with my drink, just a soda btw. "If you need anything else let me know" Really?? Maybe if we could actually find you we might be able to do that. Never checked on us until she saw that we were paying through the little kiosk. "I know you guys had to wait and were patient but if you could select the last bubble on the survey that would be great. My hours depend on it" Are you kidding me right now?? By the last bubble you mean the first that says how bad the service actually was? Yeah I'll select that one. Never again will I go back there. I have made it a point to tell everyone I know not to go back as well. we have used the Chili's in Shelton and NEVER had a problem. Oh! and the final kicker!!
