It took me awhile to become a ChiliHead. I heard a lot about this Tex-Mex & American restaurant chain and glad I finally had a chance to dine here. It's good to know Chili's been around since 1975. Based my experience, I can tell they put the guest at the center of all they do because the customer service was always greaaat. The super friendly staff were very attentive...making me feel special in this welcoming atmosphere. I enjoy watching the sports game while I eat my tasty 3 For Me meal and try out their flavorful Margarita of the Month. And by the way, they have a greaaat Happy Hour too. Highly recommend this location to the Yelp Community :-)

The food was ok a lot for the price to go. Hubby and I shared it for lunch and ordered the dips. The guacamole was good. I took my food to go inside had a weird smell but they got my order to me quick. Rita was AMAZING! She gets a 5 star review . She has a great voice and awesome customer service with a smile . Very friendly person. The machine was giving her a hard time but we both were like it's Monday. Her positive attitude made the whole visit great!. Thank you Rita, God Bless

Chili's Oceanside stays in our regular rotation for a reason. It's not the fanciest, it's not a Mom and pop, but you know exactly what you're gonna get and there's something for everybody, especially for my kiddo who can be a really picky eater. We usually go for the menu deal (appetizer + entrée, always a win), and my son loves it here because the kids' meal options are great. This visit, we also treated ourselves to the molten chocolate lava cake... and wow. Zero regrets. The service was quick, friendly, and on point.. we like that they usually have the sports game you wanna watch on TV, reasonable cocktails, and a great happy hour, and drinks refilled fast, food came out fresh, and everything ran smoothly. It's an easy, family-friendly spot that consistently delivers, and it's definitely wallet-friendly too.

Service was good here, our waitress got to us when we needed her. The inside was really dirty, we did get there later in the evening but still dang! This red needs a paint join and a deep cleaning. The food was 6/10 good. Mozz sticks were delicious Chicken bacon ranch nachos were just okay and seemed like a small amount for the price. The baby back ribs were delicious but barely any meat on them. The tenders and fries were hot and fresh. I didn't love the Mac n cheese. I'm giving it a 3 star, everything was edible and enjoyable but not overwhelmed, and it was really dirty from the sticky floors to the loop smeared on the bathroom wall.

Gosh where do I begin. Came in to celebrate a graduation and we were a large party (11 people). The hostess was nice and helpful and we were seated pretty quickly, I'd say we only waited about 15 minutes, not bad. We get to the table a take our seat, we were greeted by someone who took our drink orders and never came back. When our drinks came out, one was missing and two were wrong and a different person brought them out to us. It took about 10 minutes to find someone else to even ask for the missing drink. We didn't even bother with the wrong drinks because we could tell they were struggling already. Missing drink finally came out 5 minutes later. I received my order and it was pretty good, the fries were hot and fresh and the burger was good too. I flagged someone down to ask for water and when the cup arrived it had some kind of white gunk on the rim. I was immediately disgusted. I wiped it off to see if it would come off and it did but I just didn't even want to drink it. I had to use the bathroom so I walked in and the stall had no paper or seat liners, so I went to the second and only other stall and the same thing; no toilet paper and no seat liners either. Absolutely ridiculous, there was dry blood on the walls next to the toilet paper dispenser and the lock on the door was all wet, I can only imagine what it was. This place is beyond disgusting and I would not recommend it to anyone. I will not be returning not even if my next 5 meals were free.

My sister and I came in to order to-go for some mozzarella. Rita was amazing! Great conversation and made sure we felt taken care of. In terms of food this has been the best chilis I've been to so far. Lisa also served me at the bar and I've never seen someone hustle as hard as she did. Both amazing ladies!

Lily was our server she was very attentive, very kind, and very helpful!!! The food was super good!!! Thank you Lily for the wonderful service!

Great service as always. Sit in the bar area as there's lots of space. We love this Chili's and will be back again and again and again!

Food was good, but I order meals to go from this location quite often and 8 out of 10 times the order does not come out correct. Tonight's order the side was clearly ordered as mash potatoes and that was missing and fries put in the order instead. If the sides are correct they do not make the burger correctly. The receipt shows the way the order should be and the items are highlighted as if it was checked. The food quality is good but the frustrations are just not worth my time anymore.

I ordered the smashed burger, but need to return because it's undercooked and the bun was soaked in oil. The chef/manager Spencer personally stepped in, and not only did he remake it, he made a bigger much better burger. He even told me my bill was on the house. He was incredibly nice and understanding! Such a sweet guy! Shout out to our server Martin as well, who is polite and attentive! Great customer service all around!

We ordered a Tijuana panther, a picadillo taco, and a brisket taco. We added a side of their queso and a tortilla with butter. I love the big patio, booths inside, and service. It was pretty slow for not being very busy and what appeared to be overstuffed. The chips and queso were very good. The Tijuana panther taco was sopping wet and I could only finish half of it because it was so messy and hard to eat without asking for a fork and knife. My husband's picadillo taco is where it was at. It was tangy from the pickled jalapenos, meat was beautifully seasoned, and tortilla dry enough to hold. The brisket taco was overstuffed and messy as well. I appreciate packing them full, but when they're served rolled it makes a handheld food item completely inedible by hand. The employee working the register was delightful and I'd go back just for her.

After I paid, the guy who took my order asked if I wanted salsa...replied yes, he asked how many, I said 4 or 5 ramekins? Gave em to me, no problem. Salsa bar was LIT - all fresh, good tasting stuff, clean and orderly. After getting my salsas, I sat and waited for a moment while they made my order - fresh, made on the spot...saw that was the case for a couple of other patrons who got there shortly after I did. Restaurant is very close to the 5 freeway as well as the Carlsbad Flower Fields and Legoland. I enjoyed the food and fancy-casual ambience. Seems like a fairly large stand-alone restaurant with it's own parking lot. Service was attentive and friendly. We came at the recommendation of a local and loved it! We chose this spot also for the queso that comes with the complimentary chips and salsa. So tasty and not too spicy--like a fresher/?healthier/whiter version of nacho cheese. Mango margarita 4.5/5 (with tajin rim) was enjoyable. Strawberry margarita (blended, virgin) 3/5 was good, but reminded me of candy, so probably just not for me. Trio burrito was outstanding. Loved the sourness of the green salsa over the carnitas, the carne asada with red salsa, and even the shrimp burrito (I don't usually love shrimp!). It tasted lighter than typical Mexican food. Portion was impressive, and it came with a side plate of rice and beans. Chile relleno was 3+/5 imo but my fiance enjoyed it as one of the better ones he has had. To me, it just paled in comparison to the burritos :)). Overall high quality, nice-ish (not too fancy) dinner spot for groups and more! Would recommend to others to add to their Carlsbad/SD area trip.
