Incredibly disappointed in the short staffing excuse at this location. On a Sunday night just before 8pm, we added our party of 10 (with 6 kiddos) to the list and were told it would be a 20-25 minute wait. While waiting in the lobby, 2 parties of 7 and a party of 6 came in after ours and were sat within 10 minutes. We knew they came in after because we could watch the queue live in the Chilis app - Added and sat, while our party of 10 fluctuated on the list. Instead of combining tables to accommodate our party, they continued seating multiple smaller parties that came in after us - Totaling just shy of 30 people. We were left hanging, while the server came back to explain they were waiting on one large party to finish paying... After 20 minutes, no large parties were leaving. Smaller booths continued to empty out, which would have been perfect for those multiple smaller parties who barely had a wait and were sat at tables that could have been combined - A host should understand this! It's frustrating, as a customer, to watch missed opportunities for such simple processes. The manager ought to know that the host was not running her role effectively or efficiently and was absent from the stand most of time, as she went to review the opened dining section. I thought she was going to support her servers with smaller tables, but ended up disappearing for extended periods of time. We never saw a manager during this visit, and the service seemed to be moving at an understandably slow pace (again, consistent with short staffing). And yes -- We get that there's a nationwide shortage on staffing in many places in 2021, but we cannot use this as an excuse for not doing our jobs, or trying to do our jobs well. This was our first visit to this Orange City Chili's location and was probably the last until this staffing issue gets resolved and customer service is realigned. We tried to be patient, were provided false updates for 55 minutes, but after wasting an hour we left terribly disappointed and supported another business. The servers should also know the hostess let a 10 top walk out. read more

Floor was dirty and sticky all over. Don't believe me take a look. I've been going to chili's for years and it was gross. Who ever is running it is unsanitary plus it smelled not dirty bleach. Do t believe me again see for yourself. We were gonna spend over 100$. So we went to tiiquana flats next door which was clean and spent the money there. Someone in parking said it was gross also. We have been coming to this chilis for years but recently service has been absolutely terrible. The last two times we have come at 9pm (two hours from closing time) they had less than half the restaurant open both times with the rest of the restaurant open. I get not opening sections but only having one table suitable for a party over 4 is quite ridiculous. Even if they opened up one table to keep business would have been nice. Thank you for giving us an hour and a half wait time... apparently they didn't want our business but Applebees did‍ five minute wait time there with the whole dining room open! read more

I've used this chilis for to go a few times and it's been disappointing but this time was the worst. My food was literally ice cold. I got a shrimp rice and beans bowl and the beans and corn were so cold they felt like they had maybe even just thawed out from the freezer or something. It's annoying because I also waited like 20 extra minutes in my car with my two babies when I had gotten the email and text that my food was ready. There was no way I was going back after I already got home with both kids so just had to microwave it for a while to get it an eatable temperature. I want to start off with, the food here has the best Chili's food I have EVER been to. I've gone to tons of locations and none of them compare to this place, 100% recommend. Other things to know, you will be seated really close to others (even when not busy!), AC will drop on you & near your food, the host will walk in circles before finding the section to seat you in. I did enjoy my experience despite a few mishaps. read more

This location is hit or miss... depends who is working as far as service and in the kitchen. We have come some nights and both are amazing... and other nights it's not so great. Overall it's not terrible... but it is definitely not my first choice in the area. The chain itself keeps trying to re-vamp the menu... which has essentially lead to smaller portions for more money. read more

The last two times my husband and son went in, there was a 45 min- hour wait at 5:00. Half the restaurant was closed due to "staffing issues." There were several servers just hanging around not doing much and way too many hostesses at the front. Management seems to be the problem. It's a shame. Chili's has always been a staple! read more

Chilis used to be my go to place but has real went downhill. I believe a lot has to do with corporate decisions to increase profits. I noticed thier portions have gotten smaller but their prices continue to rise. The service has also changed unfortunately not for the good. Probably wont be returning to Chilis in the near future there are many other options available. read more

I haven't been to this site in a very long time. Had really bad experience here back to back. So came here due to my whole neighborhood power was out and could I tell you that it became the best choice I made in a long time. Jennifer was so kind to my kids and me she was very polite to my table and explain the menu perfectly. Had are food out to us quickly and with no mistake's. When I ask for some napkins and extra sauce right away she responded to are service. I'll be coming back sooner then later. This place sucks!!! My last few visits have been horrible. Food packaged poorly, undercooked, or tasted bad. I thought maybe it'll get better, but it's gotten worse. Tonight, nachos were overcooked, the "supposedly" beef didn't taste like meat, and was packaged poorly. Last, but certainly NOT least, the sour cream is spoiled and smells horrific!! Just stopped by to buy my grandmother a MOLTEN. The waiter came to our table and asked us if we wanted an appetizer I told her we just wanted a MOLTEN I told her how my grandmother have been dreaming of it and told me to take her since last week and I finally did now. She laugh and brought it really quick when we were done she ask my grandmother how was it if she wanted another molten my grandmother laughed and said I am ok thank you. When the check came in we didn't have to pay anything she just wrote thanks for bringing your grandmother in for that molten. Phenomenal customer service. I thanked her and left her a great tip. My first trip as a Yelper to this Chili's location was on a date night with my husband. It was rather late, probably about 8pm when we arrived. The food was great, no complaints in that department at all! The problem we had was with our waitress. She acted as if we stopped her from going home or maybe she just had enough of dealing with people for the night. She didn't have a pleasant attitude, was very straight forward, and didn't spend much time on us. Anyway, I said something to Chili's management without pointing out who the waitress was. I was hoping for a team meeting rather than getting someone into trouble. They offered for us to come back on their dime. Our next visit was a much better one. We were greeted with a pleasant host and a waitress with a positive attitude. Our food on this visit was just as good as the last visit. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. After all, the 2 for $20 menu is perfect for our date night. Tip! Try the Mango Margarita rimmed with sugar and zest! Amazing! read more

Absolutely terrible service! We waited about a half hour to be seated which is fine. But then we go inside and are seated, we're not given any menus and we sat and waited and waited to not even be acknowledged by any server! The couple before us had to go complain to someone just to get drinks and he went in when we were checking in! So he sat inside for about 30 minutes at his table with NOTHING! Chili's in orange city is always packed but surprisingly there is never a wait. The food and service has also never suffered despite how busy they get. That shows that this Chili's knows how to operate and treat customers. I ordered a 10z sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was cooked correctly- medium rare - and the mashed potatoes were really good. I appreciated how quickly the food arrived at our table. Our family has been going to a chilis for over 8 years. I remember going when the kids were around 6 years old all 4 boys had new tablets ans they would sit In the bar area on the smaller tables and they had their own private waiters and my wife and I would sit on a hightop and enjoy our drinks and alone time. They are older now and they still like coming from to chilis. They always change the menu us about every three months so it's never the same food. Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Let's just cut to the chase. We ordered one of the chicken skillets, rice way over cooked. The nachos, so noticeable burned. Also a steak with two sides, the asparagus looked literally like someone pulled it from their backyard and throw it on my plate, root and all. Weird. The server was an older gentleman around 40, he made me feel so uncomfortable that I couldn't even tell him about my problem with the food. He was constantly looking over my shoulder asking me in an aggressive way if everything was okay know everything wasn't. I left only eating the steak. Our table was still full of food when we left. Horibblie service, and messed up our order save your time and money don't eat here. We ordered the two for 25$ two burgers with street corn and a side of fries. We had to leave early so we had them box it to go which the wait time was unreal up to this point and they also took another 20 mins to box up the order get home to find a missing street corn and no butter very little fries also the street corn wasn't right. I am sick to death of ordering carryout food only to get it home and the order is wrong. One time I ordered a 3 for me and received a trio appetizer. Another time I ordered an apple Em-pie-nada and received chocolate--I'm allergic to chocolate. Then another time I placed an order but it didn't process through; so when we went to pick it up there was no order. I keep telling them I don't want plasticware. Wow my son loves Chili's. Tonight put an end to me going there with him and his wife. I ordered a steak well done, which to me means no pink! I hate when they poor things on the steak and it runs all over the other food. Garlic butter yuck! I also had corn. Well menu didn't say it was on the cob! It came with enough pepper on it that it was black. If the menu had said black pepper I would not have gotten it. I had one bite and it set my stomach on fire. It has been 2 hours and I am still paying for the pepper. Out of the 4 of us tonight none of our meals were good. Oh and our poor little server had 7 tables. She was so tired she dropped our dip. I enjoy Chili's and their many options of food and beverages. I also enjoy their 2-4-1 specials on drinks! As many times as I go, I have never had a bad experience. Sometimes the wait gets a little long, but I always leave satisfied. Their chipotle chicken and waffles are mouth watering. I suggest giving those a try! read more

Don't expect service. They don't care about it at all. We waited about 10 minutes before we got greeted and it was very uncomfortable as the guy seemed very annoyed that he had to work and was also yelling at the host for seating him. (Don't do that in front of your tables it's so off putting and makes people uncomfortable). Then we ordered and waited 35 mins and still no food. Ended up leaving. Manager could care less. They might as well have robots running the place. Service is horrendous. read more
