I mean it is Chili's you know for the most part what you're getting. I personally have a secret love for greasy chain restaurants and Chili's runs with the best of them in my heart. My go to is the triple dipper. You get to pick three sample portions of various appetizers Chili's offers. This location is one of the better Chili's I've been too. The honey chipotle wings are tasty with a great ratio of breading and chicken. Not to mention they load up the sauce on those puppies. The southwest egg rolls are the highlight of the platter and are about as good as any tex-mex style bite-size egg roll/wrap you are going to get at an america or chain-style restaurant. Chili's is also offering two variations of their sliders for a limited time. I go with the nacho sliders because I love cheese. Chili's always provides dipping sauces for whatever you get on the triple dipper and the sauces always perform. I have gotten different items in previous visits, but what is the point of fixing something that is not broken. The ribs are decent although Outback makes them better. The sizzling fajitas are not distinguishable from what you would expect at Applebee's, etc... I will say on the Border takes the cake for chain-restaurant fajitas, although trust me I would rather get them at an authentic Mexican cantina. Burgers are whatever, again not distinguishable from other chains. The bottom line is it's Chili's, if you have been you know what to expect. If not, then don't expect a five star meal. Conclusion: 3 stars, again it is Chili's. Please show me a Chili's worthy of four stars. This location is as a solid Chili's. The guacamole was freshly made and tasted good. For Entrees we ordered the chicken fajitas and crispy chicken crispers. The fajitas were sizzling coming out and tasted good. The very sweet syrup, the one oz of tequila was not a surprise, the price $10.39 was. When I saw the bill and asked about it, I was told 'Our drink menu does not include prices'. If you want to pick a time to go to this Chili's when no one is there, I suggest 3pm in the afternoon on the fourth of July, which was a Sunday this year. It's located in the parking lot area around Garden State Plaza, which is closed on Sundays. Although I do avoid this location in the summer because its always too hot inside. That along with spicy food can make for an uncomfortable dining experience. I ordered The endless Torttia chips which are great cause they are endless and alway warm. The salsa that they give you is distinctivley diffrent which I like as well. For my main course I had the buffalo chicken ranch sand. Love the sauce, the chicken is always huge, white and juicy...the bun always fuffly and fresh. Sometime it comes too sloppy when the add to much buffalo sauce but this time it was perfect. The main reason Iije chilis so much more is their presidente margaritas. I think they are unique because they add a hint of brandy maybe but they are awesome and don't need refils every 20 mins because the give you a larger shaker. I've finally decided to avoid this Chili's restaurant even though it's the closest one to me. The food is hit or miss. Sometimes my chicken fajitas are bangin, sometimes they give a much smaller portion and it's undercooked. There's only one good bartender here (she's a bit older and has an accent). The others are okay (they can be good but most of the time they just disappear to the back or they're super unmotivated). Also, something is up with management here. Sometimes the restaurant can be half full and service will be non-existent. You can legit eat your meal and walk out, go ahead and try it.
