Chili's is by far the best chain restaurant! Yes, quality has gone down over the years but Chili's is still better than the others (Applebee's, TGI Friday's, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, etc.) My go-to is the Cajun Chicken Pasta, always good although sometimes the pasta is a tad overcooked. The second best thing there is the Swiss Mushroom burger, it's always nice, juicy and flavorful. I tried the Awesome Blossom Petals and they were ok. The crispy cheddar bites were too salty and I wouldn't get it again. Overall, Chili's is always a solid choice for a chain restaurant! read more

I took my daughter to Chili's today and it was empty so it was perfect. Sat at a booth by the bar noticed how filthy the white wall was. Grime was all over it as well as the floor. The device that you pay on was sticky and so dirty I really didn't want to touch it but I did anyway. They were all like that or at least the surrounding tables. The food was decent. I had the boneless wings which came out dry but the guy who brought the food was really cool and gave to extra things of buffalo. The sirloin and shrimp my daughter had was good. She liked the steak and mashed potatoes and also said the broccoli was very tasty. I got southwest rolls and a molten lava cake to go and when I got home my daughter was disappointed because they never gave us the ice cream. I didn't realize you aren't served complimentary chips anymore and the food was pricey for what it is but the server was nice but could have been a little more attentive since the place was empty. I called to complain about the cake and the manager was very nice and sent me some coupons to my email but haven't received them yet. I think I would go back but to a much cleaner location. I paid 70$ with the tip. A little strap for Chilis two apps a desert and one 6 oz sirloin. If the place was cleaner I would have given 3 stars. read more

I have been coming to this location for years, as this location is the closest to me. I've never had to wait to be seated and were always helped immediately upon entering the restaurant. And as someone that goes to Chili's every so often you get familiar with the menu and know what to get. I always start with the skillet queso which is served with warm tortilla chips and salsa. This is my favorite appetizer and they're tortilla chips are great! Our food came out a little while after. My boyfriend got a steak and shrimp fajita which was served with rice and warm tortillas and cheeses. My sister had gotten a burger which was served with a basket of fries and I had gotten the chicken tenders which was served with a basket of fries and corn on the cob. Food was okay--didn't wow me but satisfied my chili's craving. Service was good our waiter was always around when we needed her and provided good service. Overall it was a good visit and I'll be back for that skillet queso. I think I favor their appetizer menu more than the entrees. read more

Came for happy hour at night, they have a nice selection of drink deals. Well drinks are like $3.25. They also have great food prices ! Small plates/portions for $2.99(I think) or $4.99. I ordered the chicken nachos (8) for $4.99 It comes with 8 chips but as you can see it's not so tiny. It was really good. The cheese was nice and stringy and the chips were warm. It filled me up by the 6th chip. Think of it as mini quesadillas. Would definitely come back but not on a night where they are short staffed. P.S. I ate a chip before the picture lol read more

Been coming here for years. And have seen such a decrease in quality all around.. First off the only reason I give two stars is because the fries& frozen margaritas are still good.. and we have our waitress that we always use, she is great! It's not her fault everything else sucks... However, the food has drastically changed over the years.. I believe it started reallyyy going down hill when they changed to a cheaper brand of chicken .. I used to love the classic nachos with chicken.. what ever chicken they switched to a year or 2 ago is absolutely TERRIBLE! I miss how it used to be, just delicious greasy food when you needed it! But they are constantly taking everything that was good on this menu and replacing it with a new version or discontinuing it completely .. no bueno. Other than the food just really not been up to par, I was there last week with my daughter, which prompted this review.. I don't usually review chain restaurants like this but I just couldn't believe the bathroom conditions. It was never immaculate, so don't get me wrong.. but I was APPALLED by this bathroom. It had just opened &we arrived at 11:30 we ate (and weren't pleased ) my daughter needed to use the bathroom... I literally had my 5 year old "hold it "as we live only a few blocks away, risking an accident.. because that is how disgusted I was! Both toilets clogged -Urine ALL OVER them & the floors! i just could NOT believe it! the entire bathroom STUNK of what smelt like cat urine.. & the only available toilet paper was bits and pieces on the floor. Or the rough paper towels to dry your hands... completely unsanitary conditions. I don't understand how a chain, this popular can have such grotesque restrooms and still be aloud to be open by the health department... honestly it was THAT bad. I am a frequent chilies. Customer I go at least every other week and I have to say the Paramus store is absolutely my least favorite. My last outing which will literally be my last outing at this restaurant. I went to 3 o'clock with my family. The bartender was our waitress she happened to have been very good, even though she was busy. There was a problem with our food so we got the host who is just spending all of his time on his phone and watching football and told him that we never received french fries. He then yells halfway across the restaurant to the bartender, the table 43 has a question. table 43. Didn't have a question table 43 didn't get their order correct? Which, of course again is not the waitresses fault because it was ordered and she did place it that way. She had to finish getting her drinks for her other customers and then came over. We first spoke to a woman with a red shirt on we presume with either the manager or supervisor and explained that the host was less than helpful and her answer was he doesn't serve food. Last time I checked he could've easily walk to the back ask somebody to get the french fries. Again the lack of professionalism lack of customer service. This is happened far too often at this establishment the staff is constantly turning over and this will now be my last and final attempt of ever eating at this Chili's again. read more

Nachos are basically tortilla chips laid neatly on a circular plate one next to another with cheese melted on each triangle. The chicken on my chicken salad was served cold. I really do love Chili's but this experience I had here this past Friday left a real bad impression on me. My boyfriend and I arrived around 8PM for dinner and noticed there were plenty of tables available but the hostess kept us waiting about 10 mins. Once we were finally seated we placed our orders and we felt from that point on we were forgotten about. I ordered their new fajita special that comes with a side salad and chicken fajitas along with a molten cake for dessert all for $10. ( the fajitas were good over all very small portion ) My bf got the carnitas tacos that he said weren't good at all and lacking flavor. He has had them before and said something has definitely changed. He also ordered mac and cheese that they forgot about and brought out 10 mins after our entrees had already been on the table and the mac and cheese was cold. Once we finished our entrees we were left sitting at the table for what seemed like 30 mins without anyone coming over to us when we clearly had empty plates. There were several servers who walked by and didn't even acknowledge me trying to get their attention. Finallly after about 20 min our waitress came up to us with a look on her face like what are you still doing here said is there anything I can help you with. My response was um yea my dessert that comes with my meal. She apologized and brought it out. I don't think we will be coming back here anytime soon. I did  first curb side pick up @ Chili's, might be my last. My order was for mix & match ribs, Mexican rice & black beans. The order of two 1/2  of ribs were a couple of ribs short of a full rack.The small container that Mexican rice came in was only 1/4 full.The black bean container was full and very tasty. So I was a little disappointed in my order. I've eaten inside Chili's and the portions were always good. I don't know what happened to my take out order but, I'll never do take again.Just have to look else where for my ribs rice & beans. But service is a little slow and I don't like that they are not using paper menus but instead have you order on your phone and look at menus on the app. The food is very good and the staff are very nice though. WOW! What a great dining experience. The tables were very far apart which made me feel so safe. They don't have many vegetarian options on the menu BUT they were so accommodating!!! I asked for the cajun chicken pasta but without the chicken. The server asked if I wanted something else on top, and offered broccoli. That was truly so amazing to me ! For those looking for a allergy friendly restaurant...lets see, we've been to Chilli's before because it was on the list of allergy friendly restaurants we had. We've never had a problem but then we came to the one in Paramus. 1st of they have special menus for those who have allergies--you just have to ask them for it. We did...got the menu, made our selections. My husband ordered the beef fajitas with just beans and rice which was on the dairy free menu. We asked the waitress to be sure she said she'll check and guess what...the manager came over and told us that they changed the recipes around and they are using a butter oil on the dishes now so...why wasn't the dairy free menu updated?? We wonder also--good thing we asked to double check! And my cobb salad with no cheese and no dressing came with dressing on the side...the little dressing cup was over filled with a cream based dressing dripping all down the sides, touching my "dairy free" salad. My family and I love coming to Chilies and but this time waitress really upsets us. She gave us the menu and left ignored us completely. If my kids weren't so hungry, my husband and I would have left to a better serviced restaurant. It wasn't like the place was busy. It was a Tuesday evening and there's only a few tables to wait. I see our waitress standing and chatting at the bar...yapping away. About 10 minutes later, she came back to ask if we wanted anything to drink. At that point, we say we're ready for drinks and food ordering since she took so god damn long. This location was better than others I've been to. Came on a Saturday during noon and since it's right next to the mall I thought it'd be crowded but there was no wait at all. The staff and servers were very friendly and took our orders quickly I did the "make your own combo" with sirloin steak and Ancho salmon. It was amazing. The steak was perfectly cooked which was surprising since every other time I've asked for medium rare at other locations they would come out well done. I don't know what they put on top of it but the flavor was delicious. The salmon was probably the best thing I've had there. The seasoning was super good. Sides were broccoli and mashed potatoes. Had a late night Shiner Bock burger and it was amazing. It doesn't look like the picture but it taste amazing. Be prepared to use a lot of napkins and it's well worth it. We also had the Grilled chicken sandwich and a house salad. The sandwich was very good and well prepared. The side salad had spoiled cucumbers on it and they had to remake it. In the process they brought it out after the sandwiches. Not such a big deal but I like my restaurants to serve non spoiled food if possible. Came in tonight for dinner before our movie & quite frankly, floored by the attitude & treatment of a server by the name of Ashley. We frequent the rt. 46 location at minimum twice a week. We came here as it is right across the movie theater. We came in at 9pm est (they close at 11). We were waiting to be sat by the hostess, while he was deciding where to put us, the server Ashley motioned no with her hands to the hostess. Meaning 'don't sit them in our area.' I was floored. Well low & behold, we were sat in her area. As we were sitting, Ashley literally started arguing with the hostess about seating us in her area and said 'what did I just tell you?!' Within a few feet of us. I was FLOORED. Utterly floored. In my opinion, if you don't want a table or work, there is an exit door. For a neighborhood grill, we felt extremely uncomfortably and unwelcome. We were greeted by Allison, she was handling the area with Ashley. I explained what we witnessed and requested to be handled solely by Allison. Allison was great, attentive, welcoming, listened and an overall great waitress. The food was great, as usual. I ordered loaded chicken fajitas, frozen mango margarita. We shared the crispy cheese bites (they are our absolute favorite). My boyfriend ordered two of their featured margaritas & dry rub ribs. Delicious as expected!! We wanted to ensure that Allison got her full 20% tip from us, she deserved it. I asked to ensure she would receive it and she told me they split tips. I asked for a manager. We spoke with Will & explained what transpired. We also shared how excellent Allison was. He was empathic & embarrassed by Ashley's behavior. He confirmed all the waiters share tips. Upsetting as a customer to bare witness to Ashley's unwelcoming attitude but then to know our tip was going into her pocket really was the salt on the wound. I would be upset if I had to share my tips with someone with such a poor attitude. Will also said Allison is pretty new. She is a great employee with a bright future. Chili's is lucky to have her! Will returned with gift cards as a token of an apology after we paid. I felt terrible, we don't need that although we appreciate it. Ashley being an adult and apologizing would have been sufficient. After he left our table, Ashley was by their computer cracking up (alone) and then proceeded to walk by our table and said 'see if I give a fuck.' My boyfriend was shocked. We left. Floored. Never in my life have I felt so unwelcomed in a restaurant. Nor have I ever witnessed someone as disrespectful as Ashley in any establishment. Especially from someone whose pockets I just money in!!! I don't know how she still has a job. There are plenty of people willing to work and not actively tarnishing your brand the way Ashley is. Two stars. One for food, one for Allison & Will. I took my grandmother for her birthday last night around 9pm. Hostess asked me If there was a special occasion. I mentioned why we decided to go there since it was her her birthday. We ordered fajita trio which it was delicious. But the ribs and fries ordered came out cold. Manager apologized and brought new warm food. I give this restaurant a -1 star and won't even come here again. With only 5 busy tables in this section and two servers I think the service should've been better. - table was never cleaned while we where eating. Empty plates taking the entire table. - they gave us 3 tortillas for the fajita trio and never came back to ask if we needed more. I had to ask. - no waiter came to ask if we wanted a refill on beverage. Worst part of all when I ordered the molten cake they brought it without even saying happy birthday or even a candle.
