Came in Sunday afternoon - Super busy place. We asked to sit at the bar, and the bartender was also our waiter and he was awesome! We ordered drinks - I had a 'rita and my friend had one of those tropical tall glasses of yummy. He brought them right up and we ordered chips and salsa to start. There really is SO much great stuff on the menu and we were starving. We had a few chips and were ready to order our burger & fries (cooked to perfection) The Brioche Bun was so fresh, as were all the ingredients. I had jalapenos on my burger, and it was the right amount of spice and crisp with the pickles. Fries and Ranch were crispy and delicious as well. As busy as he was the bartender kept his eye on us, and came back acouple times to see if we needed anything else. 2 drinks with 2 burgers, plus chips and salsa for $45 - Can't beat it. This is the second time I ordered delivery using grub hub and items where missing. This time only 2 out of 5 items where in the bag. The restaurant crossed out the items on the receipt with a yellow highlighter. Yet only 2 items where yellowed out. And they let the driver take it like that. I wouldn't order on line again. Just a nice place I occasionally come and eat at for those nice little hangouts with either your family or friends. Great alcohol selection if that's your cup of tea if I may say for a restaurant. Plenty of choices to choose from and depending on how you stand on it; their mixed drinks are superb. Being able to casually drink and you can enjoy the flavor without that burning sensation. The food here is okay, but that's what to expect from a nice casual diner chain. I will say they are better than most and the food doesn't taste like it came straight out of the microwave. I grabbed a fairly basic dish, but oh man, I didn't expect it to be so filling for what it was. Haven't been to a Chili's in a while and found ourselves visiting this place twice for dinner in one weekend here in Reno. It was convenient and closes later compared to other nearby restaurants. On both nights, I got the mango iced tea which was the perfect level if sweetness. Their 3 for me deal was what got us in the door. My husband really enjoyed their carne asada lime pesto. Servers are good and have good people skills Food is good and they seem to care and not just throw it on the plate to serve it But, let's talk about the pay machines at the table! They are dirty and disgusting covered in grease, and dirt, and must be complete with germs!!! Same with the menus, and the bathroom door handles. the to go service is absolute trash!!!!! sat on hold over 10 minutes to place the order and eventually hung up and placed it online. i was never notified that my order was ready. i walked in to nobody at the to go register, my order wasn't on the rack where its to be picked up but was sitting by itself behind the register. so i took it upon myself to go behind the register and retrieve my own order, cold. on top of that, i checked it to find that the order was wrong so i walked into the kitchen area to find any competent employee that was around to help and just see 2 employees chatting up a storm. i yelled hello and just got looked at... eventually, Bri came out, professionally handled the situation & addressed the issue to the employee who was supposed to be at the register. if a manager is reading this, give Bri a raise. she seems to be the only one there with a good sense of what's going on. this is not the first time this has happened but is the first time i've left a review about it. read more

For years and years now, Chili's has been my go to place to grab a quick bite. I find that their menu has a wide variety, which should please everyone in the family. With that being said, not all Chili's should be treated equally. I find that some locations have better service and cleaner than others. I have tried this specific location a couple times before leaving this review. I truly try to give everyone a fair shot, before leaving a review. Chili's has a great happy hour and monthly drink specials. Joining their FREE loyalty program is a must! They seem to always email FREE coupons for dessert and chips & salsa. Generally speaking I would give Chili's a solid 4 stars, however this location gets 3 stars, since it they seem to have a little trouble in the kitchen, and with the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. Just my visit today, I had to send my chicken tenders and dessert back. The server was quick to fix the problem and send a Manager over to apologize. I am someone who hates to send back anything, however the chicken tenders seemed to be under cooked. Even with just a 3 stars, I will continue to re-visit this location, since it's the closest Chili's from my residence and I will be sure to provide an update to my review. read more

Horrible service by management. We came here for dinner tonight with our two year old. First we ordered appetizers and the wings all came out ICE cold, they felt like they were refrigerated that's how cold they were. We asked them to take them back and bring out mozzarella sticks instead and we watched as management stopped our server to ask why she was doing that on the way back to our table. Then 45+ minutes passed and we still had no dinner. Our 2 year old at this point was asking over and over for his meal. Turns out, something went wrong and our order never made it back to the chef. Our waitress told us not to pay on the terminal and she was going to talk to the manager because of everything that happened between the cold chicken and our food never making it back. She had to take our order again and send it back. The manager never came over, never spoke to us, ended up not wanting to give us anything off the check like they waitress had mentioned. We came in after a long day of running errands to enjoy the 3 for $10 meal, because we have been seeing commercials stating that they added the Monterey Jack Chicken Fajitas to the menu. However, the menus did not include the Monterey Jack Chicken Fajitas as advertised. I did inquire about the commercials and was told that they are currently not a part of the menu at this location. Disappointed, but still hungry we both ordered burgers. The food came in a timely manor, looked and smelled good. Love the side of pickles, they always taste so good! The burgers were cooked and seasons perfectly. However, they needed more of the sauce included on the burger. The side of ranch went well with the fries. The place was busy and as a result it seemed like we could never find our server, or that he would not check in with us very often. I'm not really as fond to Chili's as I was about 3 years ago. Things have changed. The service and the food just isn't the same. Often we have to flag someone down for a refill or our food was forgotten. We are able to let it slide but it definitely affects us wanting to go back. The food is can be average but usually I'm satisfied! I have a favorite dish - the mango Chile chicken. It's pretty hard to mess up, every time I order something else I find I'm not as satisfied so I stick to what I know. They don't always mess up - sometimes the visits are great! We dropped by for a quick lunch on a snowy Sunday afternoon. Our server was quick to greet us and equally as quick bringing out our water. We ordered our food and were pleasantly surprised at the speed it came out. My sirloin was cooked a little more than the medium I had requested, but other than that my plate was great. The chili lime salsa on the steak and avocado gave it a nice kick. The asparagus were perfectly cooked, bright green and fork-tender. The appetizer sampler was gobbled up by my companion with no complaints. The manager checked on us briefly toward the middle of our meal, which was appreciated. We paid on the table machine though because our waiter did not return once our meals were served. I think they could probably stand to beef up the wait staff presence during the meal for people like me who are not fans of the electronic table thingIes, but other than that it was a solid 4 star lunch experience. read more

We had a gift card to use so the Hubs and I had lunch at Chili's. We got served right away. I had a bacon cheeseburger as part of the $10 value meal consisting of a salad, the burger and a molten lava cake. Gregg had the salmon. The salad was basically a few leaves of lettuce, a little bit of diced tomato, croutons and mostly shredded cheese. I made sure to order my burger medium because they cook theirs medium well. When it came it was medium well and kind of bland. Gregg's salmon while seasoned well was overcooked. The fries were seasoned well and really good. Our server forgot about the desert and basically us. We sat for a long time with empty plates and no drinks before she brought us our check. She asked us if we were paying with cash or using the machine. Shouldn't they be offering to show you how to use the machine???? Food is mediocre and service is not even that. read more

I was really disappointed today . Our server was pretty good . It was the helpers that really disappointed me . We order some Texas cheese fries when they gave us the plates they were dirty . I grab them to show them and got someone else's left overs on my hand . Food was pretty good besides them giving us a toast that looked old and was cold . we got desserts . Wifey and I got the cheesecake and was pretty good . We waited for about 8 minutes and they forgot to bring our daughters molten lava ice cream cake dessert . We never had to ask for drink refills and he felt our meal took to long (which we didn't) and offered us free desserts! OMG! Chili's is supposed to be the leader in Fajitas. But they are anything but. I ordered the steak Fajitas a couple weeks ago. IT WAS DISGUSTING! The meat was like chewing Coyote meat, it was stringy, gristly, full of ligaments, cartilage and FAT! I had to chew each bite like 200 times before being able to safely swallow it. They should change their name to "Coyote's". The worst dining experience I've had in YEARS. The meat was horrible! Fajitas are supposed to be their speciality. It was HORRID! Went here for the 2 for $20 deal. I had the chicken fajitas and my son had the half rack and our appetizer was the chili fries. The service here was ok. The gal did go above and beyond and split our extra ordered salad for us in two bowls. Nice touch. Food was just middle of the road. The one thing I would say is that their selections of appetizers for the deal really aren't that good. The deal basically makes the app free, thankfully. Somehow we ended up with a gift card for Chili's so we decided to check it out one day while we were out running errands. It's an odd layout, with a hostess stand when you walk in, and another one off to the left. We had never been there before, and no one was manning either stand, and we didn't know which one to go to, so we just hovered in the lobby for a bit. Well, people passed by, but no one stopped to seat us, so we just sat ourselves in the bar area. The bar was surrounded by TV screens, with various sporting events playing. We were greeted promptly by our server, who was super friendly. We ordered the tableside guacamole and the lunch special where you can pick three items off the page for a set fee. The idea of tableside guacamole is good - they bring out a variety of bowls of additions and you can pick and choose - easy on the onions, etc. However, I just end up dumping hot sauce in it, so it's not that big of a deal for me. Plus, the chips are so thin you can barely even scoop the guacamole out of the bowl! The meal was fine. Nothing special, though. Americanized enchiladas and tacos. I do like that the restaurant has a kiosk on the table, which is where we swiped our card to pay our bill when the meal was over - it even calculated the tip and spit out a receipt! Chili's has always been a go-to for my little family. A nice staple to the family-out nights that keeps everyone happy, and with as many options as they have and menu changes, Chili's keeps up with our ever changing needs! First of all, the table top computers are awesome...we only have to pay 99cents and we have instant access to a ton of games. When we have our four year old son, Taven with us...entertaining is an essential part of the decision when we choose where to eat. The children's menu is generic which is nice for consistency. I can count on there always being something on the menu my son will eat...chicken strips, pizza, grilled cheese, grilled chicken, little burgers....all foods my four year old loves...so for me going to Chili's means I won't have to persuade him, to get him to eat! Now adult time...margarita heaven! So many different kinds and they're all great. The bartender is even great at making me my custom one when I ask for it...1800silver, cointreau, a splash of sweet n sour mix and a ton of fresh limes on the rocks with salt... One of my favorite appetizers is the southwestern egg rolls with avocado ranch! They're just soooo good!!!! I love ordering them to start! And finally who can go wrong with two for twenty with the options they have on there!? I've said it before, I'll say it again...fajitas! I got carnitas fajitas this time and added a had order of shrimp too. Oh yeaa...hubby got his ribs and with that I would all this another successful dinner night out. Honestly the chain Chilies has always been an easy go to and normally all around good food and pretty average service. Having two kids they make it pretty easy. They have the games for our two year old on the table tablet thing. It does cost $.99 for him to play. Keeps him occupied so we can eat. We normally go to one closet to the Mall. The last few times we been here we have had great service! Staff help each other and alway keep my drink full. Big fan of the drinks always full. The food is ok and pretty average. The chips and Queso is always great! We tend to always start with it. I've had the grilled chicken and steak fajitas both times and tonight tried the new prime rib steak. Not a fan of the Prime rib on the other hand the normal steak is awesome! So if your getting steak fajitas get the normal steak. It's great for the family's and you will get the norm service here! Wooow. So one we place a reservation and when we arrive they did NOT have our reservation so that was upsetting. INSTEAD I am spoken to as if I am a child, shamed as a parent, and then of course am told about a pandemic as if I haven't been on this earth for the past few months. Having a casual conversation with my party as to how we are going to be seated was none of this young man's business. To walk in the MIDDLE of us and flat tell me as you walk by with no eye contact "your kids can't run around my restaurant" as I jokingly said I could place the kids at their own table was extremely rude. How do you know my kids? Who are you to butt into my conversation? And who are you to make suggestions when I am NOT asking you? Then to be soooo rude and say "get your kid out of that table I have to sanitize that again because of you" and "we are in the middle of a pandemic" do you think we have been living on a different planet? Then to tell us to (Insert a bad word) off multiple times and start a whole other argument...no. Not acceptable. I refuse to ever come back here considering the numerous comments with an attitude, cursing at us, not knowing your place as a waiter, and making a scene. Disgusting. And allll the manager had to say was "sorry" that doesn't always cut it. We got to Chili's at 5:15pm on a Saturday night. There was a wait for a table but as soon as we were seated the servers were very attentive. Even though the restaurant was busy the service was great and the food came out right away. All of the servers on our side of the restaurant worked as a team to help each other cover all of the tables. I went back again on Monday night and received the same great service. The margarita chicken was very good. They had a child's menu that made it easy to find something that my grandson would eat. We will be back again. We were welcome by the maitre d by opening the door for us, we were sat by the window which is very pleasing, our Server James was courteous and pleasant, provided us options on our drinks and food which is always good. He was nice to ensure that our free chips and salsa basket is always refilled. I ordered their fajita trio and it was sooo good, plenty of sides and requesting a little more of the sides with no extra cost is even better. My significant other ordered their half slab bbq ribs which according to him Is tasty and juicy. But nothing can beat any of those than my $5 9.0 oz. I got take out from here last night... I got a burger and my girl got a chicken quesadilla.. Take out service was slow to the counter for me to place the order. We ran a quick errand after being told 15 minutes. Came back after 15 minutes and sat... and sat... and sat... while countless waiters walked back and forth past me. I finally pulled one aside and asked if there was a to-go person who could give me a hand. Someone came from around the corner and helped me out. My food was packed and ready to go in a few minutes. I've dined in at this location before and the service was on point, but their to go service is lacking severely in customer service.
