My husband ordered the pick 3 smokehouse combo, my daughter ordered the spicy big crispy chicken sandwich, and I got the triple dipper. We all collectively thought that the pick 3 smokehouse combo was a good value and it came with a decent amount of food. The chicken sandwich wasn't too bad although the Mac n Cheese that came with it was a bit too salty to my liking. The triple dipper was cool I like the honey chipotle chicken crisper as for then nashville hot mozzarella it was a bit lackluster no cheese pull kind of sucks cause I was looking forward to that and it was also a bit salty for me as well. The big mouth bites were ok a bit on the dry side, I know it came with dipping sauce but some sauce on like like ketchup or mustard would be nice or some pickle or lettuce and tomato. I would get this again and it was my favourite item we ordered. Loaded Baked Potato Soup - The best loaded potato soup I've ever had! Triple Dipper - I enjoyed the Honey-Chipotle Mozza. The Southwestern Egg Rolls and the Big Bites were good but didn't amaze me. Smokehouse Combo - I really liked the Beef Brisket Quesadilla. The Ribs and Crispy Chicken were good but didn't amaze me. We came here because family was craving a Triple Dipper and because Rob from Chili's on TikTok has been all over my For You page. We came in on a Sunday afternoon with our kids. Mozzarella sticks had the perfect cheese pull. I ordered the 3-for-me steak meal and we were very pleasantly surprised at how good all of our food was seasoned. It was a full house, yet none of the staff seemed stressed out. Everyone was busy, but very attentive. I forgot our server's name but she was very nice and attentive! Came here for the first time and started off with the $6 marg of the month! It was HUGE and Love Island themed. I also got the 3 items deal ($10.99) that came with a large crispy chicken sandwich, a drink, and side (chips, soup, or salad) and it was definitely worth it. If you sign up for their rewards, you get free chips & salsa with a $5 purchase (excluding the 3 deal). What kind of sucked was that our waiter wasn't very attentive (granted it was busy) and the restaurant was a little dirty. She said she couldn't switch out my drink choice (didn't tell us beforehand when we were ordering) and every time I got an Arnold Palmer, it was just watered down tea. My daughter and I both ordered the fajita dinner. The sizzling hot plate came out looking great, but the portion of rice was unbelievably small. It wasn't even a full scoop. How is that tiny amount supposed to be enough for the four tortillas that come with the meal? It felt incredibly cheap and made the meal feel incomplete and feel ripped off. I haven't been to Chili's in years. Definitely not my first choice to go to but with all the 3 for me commercials checked it out. On a Sunday night, place was crowded. The drinks at the bar and reasonably priced. For the 3 for me, a drink, starter and main starts at $10.99. The big crispy sandwhich is just a piece of fried chicken and bread. I ended up getting the enchilada soup, steak with mashed potatoes and instead of broccoli I got corn. My friends got the mozzarella sticks and dippers to all share. I shared the 3 for $10.99 that's on the back of the menu hiding that they promote on commercials on tv. We smash burger with fries with my boyfriend. My bf ordered fried mozzarella (3 pc) that were a size of hot pocket. We ordered bone in wings honey chipotle and buffalo. The wings were ok the sauce was really light. Kids meal rating from my son is 5/10 Smash burger was 6/10 kind of greasy and by the end of the burger the bread was falling apart. Mozzarella rating from my boyfriend 8/10 and son was 10/10 Bone in wings was 6/10 the sauce was too light. I also got an Arnold Palmer strawberry it did not taste like lemonade or strawberry tea at all. There was no sweetness or tartness or the lemonade to the drink, It was watered down 4/10 for the drink. For my first experience trying chilis was alright I was not blown away from the food. I come to this Chili's often and always enjoy coming here. Today was my birthday, and Liz took great care of us. We ordered the Triple Dipper, a side salad, and chips with salsa, queso, and guacamole. Everything was delicious! My only complaint is that we felt rushed. According to Liz the cook had my birthday cookie with ice cream ready before we had even finished our meal, so I couldn't really enjoy my food. The restaurant was loud because of the World Cup, but there were plenty of empty tables, so there didn't seem to be a reason to rush us. Signed into my recently created account via the Chilis mobile application after being quickly seated at a table. Happy Hour specials Beers, Wine Pours, and $6 Monthly Margarita at any time. My order the Big Smasher Burger, House Salad, and a Lemonade all part of the 3 For Me anytime combo meal. My beverage mug came out with minutes ( I requested limited Ice as to reduce the number of refill trips), the salad though not huge was a nice mix of ingredients and was quickly provided after my order was placed. My main the Smasher Burger came with a generous side of flavorful seasoned fries. The food was good. The numerous staff were busy on the floor taking orders, serving food, drink, and providing customer assistance, working interchangeably amongst the tables making it painless when needing a server. FYI, I had just recently dined at Outback & Red Robin also between 3 & 4 pm, but the serving staff here was far more available and engaged. Been here a few times because I'm a local but yesterday food was just mediocre. Not sure if it was because they had a new chef or new staff. I was pretty disappointed because my Old Timer's cheeseburger was just drench in mustard that it over powered my taste buds and couldn't really enjoy my burger. I also ordered plain chicken wings and as you could see in my picture they were super dried and hard to chew. Obviously they mask the wings by covering them in your favorite sauce but since we opted out and decided to get them with no sauce, I could really see how dried they were. I have visited other Chili's in the past and my favorite so far is the one in Fremont. Their service is impeccable and their staff always have great attitudes always walking around asking if anything is needed. Even their manager walks to every table asking patrons "how's the food?" Now that's great customer service and a manager that really cares what comes out of their kitchen. The location in San Bruno I never once met their manager. An accommodating place for a large group of friends and I! On a Friday evening, our large party (nearly 20 people) came in, and we waited barely over an hour to be seated. The restaurant was fully packed, yet they were able to help us get seated in an area all together. I ordered their Ancho Salmon dish, and my order came out within 20 minutes. My friend and I also shared one of their Triple Dippers, which included boneless BBQ chicken wings, fried mozzarella, and big mouth bites. The Ancho Salmon was expensive in my opinion and had a smaller portion size than what I would've liked. However, it still was flavorful with its cilantro and pesto sauce. I wasn't a fan of the fried mozzarella, but the BBQ chicken wings were crispy and delicious when dipped into ranch. I think the last time I was at Chili's was in my 20s. We recently met a couple of friends here for dinner because our friends said Chili's has some good deals. On a Friday night around 6:00 p.m., the wait was about 15 min for a table of four. The place was busy and bustling. After getting seated, it took a little while for our server to come take our drink orders, but totally understandable since the tables around us were all occupied. I ordered the four piece crisper meal which came with fries and Mac n cheese ($15.99). My husband got the full rack of ribs with fries and Mac n cheese for $28.99. Our friends both got the 3 for me deal with a smash burger, fries, side salad and a drink for $10.99 each. Signing up for a Chili's account on the app also gets you free chips and salsa with every visit. We ended the meal with a skillet chocolate chip cookie topped with ice-cream for $10.29. We ordered the Smasher Burger, the QP Burger, and a bacon burger. For appetizers, we got a cup of soup and two orders of chips and salsa (which are endless, so you can get free refills). The chips came out warm, and the portions were very generous. The "3 for Me" deal also comes with a drink. The pros: Staff really on their game, incredibly service oriented but trying not to show they're struggling. Great spicy margarita. Shout out to the busy manager who smiled, made peppy banter and checked on us and the bartender who handled the constant slam of orders with confidence and calm. The cons: 30 minute wait for a table, mediocre food, lousy grade of meats (steak had an unappetizing silver skin on the fat, $25.39). The boneless wings in Buffalo sauce ($15.49) were gobs of deep fried coating, little discernible chicken and definitely not Buffalo sauce. They did offer ranch or bleu cheese dressing, a pro move. My son had the Crispy Crispers ($17.39), chicken fingers, fries and a ramekin of mac n cheese. He was happy, this is what he wanted for dinner. Don't roll your eyes at us. My coworker even tipped you $30 (which was more than a 40% tip) for the 3 refills you gave us with your attitude hoping it would cheer you up and it didn't. We told you upfront we'd like a couple of refills and would tip really well. We held up our end! Quality could be better with the ranch and marinara sauce. The bone in wings were a bit over cooked that it was hard to eat the meat off the bones since it was stiff and not juicy and just coming off. Both the southwestern rolls and Mozzarella were yummy and my favorite from that dish. The BBQ combo was actually delicious! My only con would be the Mac and cheese the consistency of the sauce was a bit more runny than a Mac and cheese should be. It still had good flavor overall. The fajitas of steak and chicken are my usual go to and when that plate came out it was SIZZLING!!! I was so happy that it came out fast and was good as always. Love the food here, but I am highly surprised I have not gotten food poisoning, because I will admit that I've had my worries(especially these last two visits within the past month) with how the employees take care of this restaurant. The seats and tables are always sticky, the floors and booths are grimey, and this is noticeable upon walking thru the restaurant to be seated. Last night, our server brought us to the north wing to be seated at a booth and she noticed the table and seats were left with wet streaks and crumbs. As we stood there, she ran to grab cleaning supplies but returned with one brown paper towel in hand with some spray. I was shocked when she wiped the table, spilling the crumbs onto the seats, then continued to wipe the seats with the same paper towel and then back up to the table to wipe it down one more time with the same single paper towel. It really killed my appetite and I thought "oh boy, I'm really going to get food poisoning tonight" because I felt if the employees clean this way, the kitchen is for sure handled in the same manner(assuming, unfortunately). I didn't want to touch the sink without paper towel, so I went into the stalls(3), and noticed all three were out of toilet seat covers. More women started to come into the restroom and luckily someone held the door open for me because I didn't want to touch the door handle with my bare clean hands. Anyway. Great food, Chili's, but the care and upkeep of this restaurant's environment needs a lot of work. There are several employees walking all around the restaurant-- surely, if everyone puts in just a bit of work to wipe up before and after each customer, it would make a BIG difference. No one should have to place their elbow upon a table to find their skin stretching toward the table as they pull away. Please pay attention to the restrooms as well. Stopped in here to grab a quick dinner with my parents before a flight out of SFO. We shared the triple dipper with the southwest egg rolls, sliders and chicken crispers. We also shared the boneless wings with BBQ sauce. Service was great and the waitress was attentive. read more
