Dinner time in the middle of the week, the dining area was about 75% full. Ordered the Guiltless Sirloin (side of broccoli) and Alex's Santa Fe Burger. Both were good and met our expectations. Our server Steven was great and gave us 110% service. The restaurant was spacious, noise dampening and rest rooms were clean and maintained. We did not see any reason for the overall low rating (slow or no service?). read more

I don't care to eat at chains much, but Chili's met our requirements of somewhere that had cocktails and a southwest salad. I'm also kind of a sucker for their southwest egg rolls. Service was good at this location, which was a breath of fresh air because the one in the town we live in has atrocious service. I think our server may have been new, but he played it off well. Food tasted good and came out quickly. We went earlier in the day and I don't think the lunch rush had started yet as it was pretty empty. Would definitely come again. read more

Food and drink was sorely needed. And we eventually got what we wanted and needed. But overall, service was very slow and forgetful. And honestly, there was no reason or excuse for it. We were there on a thursday afternoon, outside of regular meal times, and it was very empty in the place. Maybe two other tables had customers. Everything took a very long time and several asks. Like, silverware and napkins had to be requested at least 3 times and came after our food came out. Mine was eat-able without utensils, but napkins are a big help at all times. Anyway, we got margs as a post-hike reward and they were tasty and fine. The food filled us up and was fine. Everything was...fine. You'll eventually get what you asked for and it will be on par with every other Chili's you've ever been to. I wouldn't come here if you were in a rush or on a schedule. And honestly, I would likely avoid this spot in the future if I was back in this area. read more

I was given zero restitution for my horrible experience at this location so my only clemency will be to write this review. We arrived this evening (Friday) to a fairly busy restaurant but were seated very quickly which was nice. Our drink and appetizer order was taken quickly as well, but everything went horribly wrong from here. As a party of five, with one being a three year old, it took nearly 30 minutes after ordering for our starters to come out. Shortly after the starters, my three year olds kid meal came out. After about 30 more minutes of waiting for the rest of entrees, we flagged down our server who had not visited once since taking our order. We requested refills since everyone had finished their drinks in the hour of sitting and asked for a status update on the food. She returns with the update and states that the kitchen is running "all hands on deck" and that they're trying their best to get all the food orders out. For reference, about half the tables in the restaurant are empty at this point compared to the full house it was when we arrived. She also states that our food is currently being plated. About 20 more minutes pass (nearly 1.5 hours of sitting and waiting, my toddler had finished his whole plate at this point), our food gets brought out. It's cold. The two pastas we ordered has sauce with the glossy look of one that has been sitting on a counter for far too long. My triple dipper is entirely room temp. My wife's triple dipper is missing one of the items, and all we got from the food runner was "we are out of the burger bites," and before we could ask for an alternative she walked away leaving us with 2/3s of what was ordered. We flagged our server again to express our disdain in regards to the wait time and food quality, but before I could even finish my first sentence she says "I should probably get the manager before you continue." Sure. The manager comes and we express our issues and his solution is that he can remake the food. Well, after sitting and waiting for 1.5 hours for the food to come out cold and wrong, the last thing we wanted to do was to sit and wait even longer. The manager then expressed an apology and said he will cover the food costs, so we left with empty bellies and a very disappointing evening. The occasion was my niece's birthday dinner and they didn't even bring her an ice cream either. I love Chili's and am so disappointed in how this experience transpired. read more

Bar tender slow and not friendly, Water glass came back with lip stick on the rim. Do they even wash the glasses here? Ordered soup and salad, it was okay. This was my second time coming to chili's. Food was overall good. There was a lady who was disturbing the peace but the manager and staff did their best to manage the situation until they were able to deescalate the situation. I give the manager kuddos for keeping his cool considering the verbal harassment the lady was throwing. The ambiance is chill, very lax. I would say even with the space being moderately busy, getting the waiters to come to our table took a long while. read more

The food was good. We had horrible service. Our waitress Tiona was inattentive and very unfriendly. She did not check on us once the food was delivered. I had placed a to go order and when she came to drop it off I asked her for some honey mustard and she went to get it and brought it over to the table. I'm so disappointed in the order we received on Dec 3 about 7:30 pm . Our food came freezing cold , ordered a oldtime burger well done. They sent a freaking hamburger patty no bun no cheese no garnish , asked for cheese fries no jalapeños and it came with jalapeños, they when call to get refund you give me a freaking credit. What the hell do you think, I will never order or go back to eat your establishment. So I will be telling everyone one I know about your food and how you treat your customers. It's a shame that you deliver this kind of food to your customers. I don't even know how you are still business. read more

I went to pick up a order to go that was already placed and no one acknowledge me there as I was waiting over five minutes. I entered the kitchen and as the gentleman in street clothes if someone's going to help me? His reply to me was I'm working on it don't be rude. Waited another few minutes for him to bring the order out and asked me which one was mine and I had to advised him that I needed a beverage. He goes back in the kitchen another few minutes talking to employees instead of getting my drink. When he finally returned, inform him that acknowledging customers is not hard to do. His reply was we're busy and shrugged his shoulders as not to care one way or another. Busy is not an excuse for giving poor customer service. We arrived in SF late on Wednesday, so our choices were limited. The restaurant was closing in 30 minutes, so didn't think much about how empty it was. After our experience I now understand why. After a 25 minute wait, the server explained that the kitchen messed up the order so it had to be re-done. When the food was served, my soup was so salty I couldn't eat it. The replacement cup of soup was cold. My husband's fajitas was also salty but he was able to eat it since he out it in tortillas with beans & rice. We left dissatisfied. Imagine our surprise when my husband experience tummy troubles starting around 3 am. It lasted for hours. The fajitas were the only thing that we didn't share over the course of the day, so firmly believe that was the source of the trouble. I would starve before eating at this Chili's. read more

I had dinner this evening at 6:00pm. The place was dead but there was a 10min wait because they were short staffed according to the host. I chose to sit in the bar. It also was dead with 5 patrons. The only waiter , a tall older guy, was not a ball of fire. He took 6 mins to get to my table with a menu and place setting. I ordered immediately. The drink came very quickly but the burger and fries took a while. The fries were absolutely cold. I mentioned it to them. The waiter brought another order and stated that they were probably the same as they had came out of the same container. I asked if they had any hot French fries. Another employee, the chef or manager came to the table and asked what the problem was. I said that the fries were cold twice and the waiter could not correct the problem. He offered to replace them but I declined. That's never happened in a Chili's before. read more

Being generous, I am awarding Chili's four stars, rounding up substantially but making it clear that I enjoyed above average service and food during my visit yesterday. This was my first ever visit to a Chili's restaurant, and the decor, menu and interactive tablet took cues from Outback Steakhouse, TGI Friday's and Applebee's. In short, it's pretty much what I expected from a chain restaurant. The menu is extensive, bordering on overwhelming. Their general listing is accompanied by a Fully Loaded menu, which features different items that are served covered in white cheese sauce, bacon bits, shredded cheese and cilantro. My girlfriend and I ended up requesting an order of loaded boneless wings, also sharing a lunch combo with house salad and chicken Fresh Mex Bowl. The salad provided a serving of vegetables before the boneless wings arrived, covered in cheese sauce and toppings which turned out to be quite good. The flavor was middle of the road, an inoffensive cocktail of gravy, cheese and white meat. If I didn't know any better, I would believe that this item came from IHOP or Village Inn. The Fresh Mex bowl was arguably the highlight of the meal. Rice, chicken, avocado, beans, pico de gallo and tortilla strips make it an appetizing dish. I imagine this was added to the menu to compete with Chipotle's burrito bowls, and it's certainly a worthy adversary. I'd recommend it to those who don't have the appetite for fajitas or a rack of ribs but want substantial sustenance anyway. Our server, as well as the two managers, were attentive and kept our glasses full. When it was time to leave, we were able to pay by card using the tablet provided. Though it wasn't the best place I've eaten at, I think this Chili's deserves more credit than other Yelp reviewers have given them. Perhaps I just got lucky; someday I might find out. read more
