I went here the other day with a friend. It was clean with friendly/ mildy attentive staff, however the tilapia had to be at least a week too old because it reeked and tasted absolutely disgusting. My friend was the one who ordered it, but it made me gag from across the table. I've had the tilapia at other locations before and it always tasted very good, but this time not so much. I don't know if it was a one time occurrence for this location, but I don't suggest getting it here. We were in the area of this Chili's due to us being here helping my daughter DJ for a wedding and we live 80 miles away. My wife and I had some down time and stopped for dinner. Samantha, our server was amazing as was all the staff. Food was very good but we really appreciated the service and great customer service. (Being diabetic, my sugar started to drop as we waited and we mentioned this the hostess and she immediately brought a few candies to help). There are few times when a meal is so expertly crafted and planned that it is nothing short of genius. When I ate here, I did NOT experience this at all. My sister and I got the Smothered Caritas Burr Burrito. The first bite was as we would have expected from any mediocre restaurant. I thought to myself that the next bite would be a regret. If you haven't been to this Chili's in a while, you need to go. There is new management in place and they're doing a bang up job. Bartender/Server Heather is awesome! We sat in the bar area and had several appetizers -mix you own quacamole and queso. Then fajitas, burgers, ribeye steak and salmon sandwiches. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to with my family. There is always a variety of food to chooss from which makes me happy. The 2 for $22 is an awesome deal that my family enjoys. We Decided to have a dinner at Chili's tonight in Simi Valley around 8:30pm on Wednesday 3/28/18. I ordered Caribbean shrimp salad $11.99 plate. It was the worst salad ever !!! They should use Romaine lettuce instead of spring mix. salad was welted it was horrible. When we mention this to our server she was very sorry and offered me something else but we were finished with our dinner at this time. Server did mention that they had same complaint about the same salad so why are you still serving this salad ?? Customer paid good money for our meal. Had an amazing experience for dinner with the family. Food was delicious. What made this experience so nice was the team work they demonstrated. My waitress and everyone who helped her really made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. My girlfriend and I ordered the $20 for two meal with fajitas she had chicken I had steak and they are absolutely astounding!!! They come with caramelized onions and bell peppers everything cooked just right. with six different toppings- pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, pickled salsa jalapenos, and red salsa. The flavors were mouthwatering and amazing everything is great!! She had a Presidente margarita, and it comes in a proper margarita glass with sugary rim and a shaker chock-full to the brim makes at least 4 margaritas!! I had a crown and Coke and it was strong & great! Our kids had a corndog with caramel apples and he ate it all, everything was excellent and the other one had cheese quesadilla with fries and he ate his as well. Right now she said my god this is good and I'm kind of jealous! Lol and she adds this is one of the best Mother's Day dinners that she's ever had. Deceptive Business Practices. Don't Go. I have been going to Chili's since they opened in Texas since the seventies. I hadn't gone for a couple years since there are none around my current residence. Called a half hour before Happy Hour to ensure we arrived at the right time (4-6 PM). Asked what do you have in terms of Happy Hour; to which they replied "drinks and appetizers." When we arrived I informed the wait staff we were there for Happy Hour. So they moved us from the dining seating to the bar. This is odd because from as long as I can remember all Chili's had Happy Hour throughout the restaurant. We were moved to the bar, but then provided menus to look over. We ordered. While we waited for our food, we played this little video game that is provided on every table; game play is advertized for a small fee of $1. Chips and Salsa were good. Drinks were fair. The food was greasy and lacked taste. It took nearly 20 minutes to get the bill, and another 20 minutes for the server to return. I explained we were here for happy hour, yet our bill did not reflect that. Was then told only those appetizers and drinks listed on the game pad we were playing were the "specials"; so you had to have some sort of instant cognition of where to look for said specials and then know to navigate the provided game pad. Again, we told three different people at three different times we were there for Happy Hour. They are not listed in the menus or advertised anywhere throughout Chili's. When I brought this up to the server, he attempted to rectify with the manager, who did not come out to explain; but gave the server a $5 coupon to give to us. Chili's you lost a lifelong customer over a measly Southwest Eggrolls and greasy fried pickles. Will never return. read more

I don't know what has happened to their customer service but it's no longer customer service. It's get them in get them out at customers expense .. oh ya not to mention after we called in the order they said that will be ready in 15 minutes . And we waited for 50 minutes when we got there. Terrible food and service. Ordered "curbside to go" instead of paying for poor service inside as usual. Waited at curbside for over 30 mins waiting for our food. We checked in to the app, text the number and eventually called store without any response from anyone. Food eventually came out and so we drove home. Once home all of our food was cold from sitting out forever. Ordered a burger and the beef patty was not cooked properly, inside was raw meat made us sick. All the food went straight into the garbage where it belongs. Complete waste of money and time. Do yourself a favor and avoid coming here, for sure that was our last time. I am writing this because I had a terrible experience with my order last night. I ordered my meal on the app for pick up. I arrived around 7:05 pm as my meal was supposed to be ready by that point. On the app I entered "I am here" and waited in my car. 40 minutes went by and nobody came to my car. There were people waiting in line and in their car and I saw nobody was coming out. I even tried calling the restaurant multiple times and nobody would answer. So after waiting for 40 minutes, I decided to go inside. I waited 5 minutes and nobody came to the counter. I looked over and saw that my order was sitting on the "paid" shelf. I yelled to an employee walking by to get their attention and asked why my meal wasn't delivered to my car. She simply replied "sorry". I wanted to speak to a manager but since my kids were in the car and I was tired of waiting, I just left. I had already prepaid for my meals and left a tip as well only to find out that not only did I not receive good service but a side dish was missing from one of my meals. This service was not tip worthy. Why would the app have an option for curbside delivery if nobody even brings you out your food? How was I supposed to know that my food was just sitting there? How was I supposed to know that I had to go in the restaurant and physically grab the food myself? This is unacceptable, unorganized and unprofessional. I do not want to go back again if service is going to be this bad and if I don't even get everything that I paid for in my order. Do not order online. This is the second time it was wrong. My dinner wasn't even sent. when I called, they said they knew and they were out of the soup. So they didn't tell my husband when he picked up that a meal was missing. My daughters food did not have pineapple but had corn and a can of pineapple juice.
