Love chilis,I think it's better than applebees. But this was the first time I've been to this location I see the food they have improved on and I love the new menu items but.... I was not pleased at all with service maybe our waiter was tired or overwhelmed,but I don't see anything to be overwhelmed about.. he only had us (my fam,just my boyfriend and daughter) and another couple that was sitting behind us. He was only serving two parties... Later one more people came and that's when it got even worse. We waited 15mins to get our drinks refilled and I noticed that he was paying more attention to the other people dining in the area than he was with us maybe he was racial profiling? As we are Asian and everyone else is white. But oh well, just serve your diners right! It took us another 20mins to finally get our check then my bf decided to just let us wait in the car... For another 20mins which felt like forever I thought my bf was in the bathroom lol. But goes to find out that he waited a long period of time just for a check and to go boxes because it wasn't worth waiting to eat the rest of our food when we weren't getting the right amount of attention our waiter shouldve been giving us.. he didn't even apologize or say anything... Our food was supposed to be ready for pick up at 6:55pm it is now 7:32pm with still no food. We had 4 different people come and ask us for our name. The one waiter said they are having a busy night with large parties however the manager finally came out and told us they are out of ribs for our order and this is after 30 minutes of waiting. The issue is not the parties but the staff not communicating. By the way the parking lot is at least half empty. Do not waste your time or money coming to this restaurant. read more

Husband and I tried to go for lunch today. We walked in and the hostess stopped us and said there is a 20 minute wait for a table, we let her know we planned to sit at the bar and she put her hand out and said it was a restaurant wide wait. I pointed to the empty seats at the bar and she still said that we couldn't sit that the kitchen we backed up so they weren't seating anyone. I have never been told that bar seating (where the bar was basically empty) was not allowed. This is the second time we have had a bad service incident at this location, we will not be giving them a third opportunity. read more

We have been to this location 5 times in the last 2 months, every time it's easily a 45 min to hour wait, with many tables open, I understand the covid pandemic thing, but I really think all customer service businesses use that as I crutch for poor customer service. I've been meaning to post a review for a couple of months now as we've been ordering curbside due to the pandemic. There is ample parking for curbside orders. Once we text "here" after ordering online, our order arrives to or vehicle within the time frame stated on the website. Each order has been hot and delicious, although tonight's ribs were unusually very fatty! However, they're tpically they're on point. Curbside staff is always friendly and courteous. Wow. Just fucking wow.10min wait to see out waitress, 50min wait for appitizers, and 1hr till we get the actual food. This place is terriable. The chicken is never cooked fully so almost all my choices are out of the question. And when asked NOT to be seated in a cirten area cues they purposly coral all the screaming children in there we get some half ased excuse why they cant. Not to mention the rudeness of out waitress almost hitting us in the face with our cups and plates when shes passing them out. All of this cues one group of 6 people was too much for them tonight. A little better than an Applebee's or Fridays but basically the same restaurant. I like the new additions to the menu and they have really stepped it up with the new burger options they have. A good spot to stop by for a burger and beer. We will visit this location again in the future. read more

Called ahead for 2 pm reservations. Arrived 15 minutes early. Lots of empty tables and one obviously waiting for us as it had the correct number of chairs. Told we needed to wait until entire party was present. Rest of us arrived 1 minute later and was told we had to wait until 2. Asked for manager who came out from kitchen, very angry and incredibly RUDE. Said his hostess was in tears (no idea why). Told us we had to wait until 2 or we could leave. We left. Understand that everyone is short staffed but would it not have been better to say, "sorry, we won't be able to have a server available until 2 but please be seated and make yourself comfortable"? Seems he was playing "fry cook" and resented being called up front to do his job with customer service. Sorry Tim, as a manager, it's your job to step up to the plate when the going gets tough. read more

Went for dinner here last night, 6:00 pm on a Thursday evening, with my husband and a 74 year old Grouch (my snowbird Dad). Wasn't expecting it to be great, based on the reviews here, but we had a gift card to use up. As we arrived, a young lady rushed to open the door for us, welcomed us, and sat us in a booth as requested. Our waitress (Carrie) showed up almost immediately and took drink orders for my husband and me (Dos Equis Lager pints) while Dad was washing up in the restroom. She had our drinks back at the table before Dad was seated, and took his drink order right away. They had Coors Light on tap, which made him happy... except we had to explain why we got lime wedges, but he didn't. The service for the rest of the night was equally responsive and very polite. Carrie was also knowledgeable and helpful with the menu choices when we ordered our food - there were so many things that looked appealing to me on the menu, that I had a really hard time deciding. It didn't take long for the food to arrive, but both my Dad's meal (Mango-Chili Chicken) and my husband's (Southwest Pairing - Cheese Enchilada/Chicken Enchilada/Cup of Southwest Chicken Soup), and also the cup of black beans that came with my Chicken and Shrimp Fajitas were on the cold side, and had to go back to the kitchen to be warmed up. Carrie was apologetic (good thing, or the Grouch would let her have it) and quick to correct everything. Otherwise, everybody's food was really delicious and well-presented. Portions were decent and I felt there was really good value for the price. Even the Grouch was raving about his meal. All in all, the service, value, menu choices, and food get five stars in my book. Room for improvement, should management be reading this (pretty minor): - Food wasn't consistently hot -Tortillas for the fajitas were bottomless, but I wish they would use bigger ones rather than taco-sized. - The restaurant was really cold inside, and the waitress did tell us that other people had complained and she was trying to correct it - The restroom was really cheaply constructed and could use cleaning attention - The dining area was really loud - For a Tex-Mex restaurant, they should really consider having some real hot sauce choices other than Tobasco. We'll be back, and I'm sure the Grouch will be bringing one of his Sun City girlfriends here, as well. read more

They were very busy, but most places in this area are on Friday night. The waitress made sure are drinks were filled and was very pleasant. Food did take some time to come out, So if you are in a hurry you might want to go to another area or order the car-side to go. We always go here to get "to go" food. Today we decided to go inside so we can get grilled mexican rice fresh from the kitchen. They let us seat right away so we were so happy!!! Little did we know it's been 30-40 minutes and nobody bother to ask us for a drink , or appetizers to order first. No body went to our table to be exact. If you like getting food for free, this is the place to go. I signed up on their website to receive coupons and special offers and they aren't stingy with their coupons. We went to Chili's for my husband's birthday and I had a coupon for get either an appetizer or dessert for free. Since it was his birthday, he gets a free dessert anyways, so we ordered an appetizer. We chose the southwest egg rolls. That was actually my entree since there are free chips and salsa in the bar for happy hour and I filled up on those. My husband had a burger and was satisfied. We got to order a dessert too, but I can't seem to remember what. I'm not a dessert person at all. Service was good, a little on the slow side, but very polite. I love the remodel. I think this is the second time I've ever been to a Chili's...actually I'm not even sure if it's the second....it could be the first time I've been to a Chili - I think the other time it was Apple Bee's or something like that...anyways yeah well yesterday night my bf and his friend and I finally went to this place called JumpStreet - to jump our fat away - but after that we got really hungry and it was around 9ish and after in Arizona closes pretty early but luckily Chili's closes at 10 so we were able to get a table and eat a fatty meal. They had a $20 dollar for 2 meal deal - in which for two people you pick a appetizer and 2 entree from their list - super good deal! We decided for the Tostada Chips and Fire-Grilled Corn Guacamole for the appetizer - it's good, however I didn't like the chips because it was very thin and was a bit oily - the guacamole was good and had a hint of spiciness to it. For the entree I had the Quesdilla Explosion Salad - interesting name and very tasty too except that I forgot to tell them to put the dressing on the side cause they put a little more dressing than I would like. The salad consisted of grilled chicken, cheese, tomato, corn-relish, cilantro, and tortilla strips tossed with a citrus-balsamic dressing and on the side four triangular cheese quesdilla! mMmm super delish! My bf ordered the margarita grilled chicken served with rice and black beans, tortilla strips and pico de gallo - doesn't look really good but it tastes okay. Despite being a chain restaurant, the food is not bad and the prices are definitely a bit cheaper than other big chain American family restaurants. read more

First the service was average! We waited a bit to long to order and get our food! The food was average for Chilis, but when my wife and daughter got the steak they order, wow rediculous!! Now why I see why it is 2 meals for 10dls. The steak looked like two stones, horribly over cooked and looked like a piece of frog so small. We came to pick up an order for another family member and wound up ordering for ourselves. The staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We were coming off a bad experience with another restaurant where we waited for 25 minutes without being serviced. Chili's won us over with their great customer service. I would recommend ordering ahead so there is no wait, but the staff is great even while you wait in the comfort of your car. Great job Chili's! read more

The food was standard for the average chain restaurant. I don't think the flavors were as good as its competitors though. We arrived around 8pm on a Tuesday (5 of us) and the restaurant was fairly empty which one would expect. Unfortunately, it became frustrating because the service was SLOW. Over an hour and twenty minutes and we are still waiting on our entree's. The appetizers should have been hot when served but we were able to bite right into fried pickles without needing to let them cool, indicating they'd been sitting a bit. Same with the fries. Very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend and have no desire to return. read more

Review of "to go" only.... I ordered the 2/$20 deal on the Chili's app (which by the way is great!...easy to use; you can place your order with the app and pay with it too!). We got an appetizer and 2 entrees with sides for the 2/$20 deal. It was a good amount of food for the money. The food was delicious. The order was ready when I arrived 20 minutes after placing the order. The bartender was friendly (pick up the order at the bar). The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it could be made better by delivering the food to my car. Applebee's does something similar called "carside to go" but I definitely prefer the taste of Chili's better. Sometimes you just don't want to get out of the car :) read more

I am not one for chain restaurants....but had a gift card. Chili's is very noisy, and what's up with TV screens??? Stay home if you want to watch sports. The hamburger was good and cooked exactly how I wanted it, but the fires were not so good. Seems like they were under the heat lamp for several hours. The service was good. I came in for a dessert and coffee with kahlua. My boyfriend ordered a margarita and chips and salsa. The chips and salsa never showed up. The coffee came out bitter, and tasted extremely burnt. I advised my server who reassured me she had made a fresh pot. I chose to forgo the coffee. The manager then came out and offered to water down my coffee since it was so black. My husband, 2 children and myself visited this Chili's location (Bell Rd.) earlier in the day for lunch and sat at our booth for 18 minutes prior to anyone coming over to greet us and placed us in a section that my 1 year old couldn't sit in a highchair. We ended up leaving due to being ignored so we called and informed the manager--because who knows how much longer we would have had to wait to speak with her--to bring it to their attention. I decided to give them a second chance by ordering togo for dinner. Our food was set to be ready at 7:09pm, my husband wait for 40 minutes in the togo parking spot because they said our food still wasn't ready. We live exactly 3 miles from Chili's (Bell Rd.) and it only took him 5 minutes to get home. When he arrived all of the hot items were cold (Cajun Chicken Pasta, kids cheese pizza, kids chicken pasta, Beef Nachos), the supposed to be cold items were warm (side Caesar salad, kids' meal sides of tangerine, shrimp Caesar salad), and a beef nacho entrée that was ordered was burnt and completely inedible other than the separated side condiments. The kids' drinks--milk--smelled awful and was warm, the mango ice tea was bland and old and my daughter's kids cheese pizza had the side of tangerines placed literally on top of her pizza. REALLY?! COVID measures or not, this is completely unacceptable customer service. Needless to say we will not be returning to this location as long as this sloppy-zero effort workmanship is present. read more

Honestly I don't even know what to say and if I typed everything we'd be here forever! One visit I went with my family and we waited for 20 mins for drinks. Then ordered food another wait and then my daughters food had a hair in it. My husbands food was wrong, sons food was cold. We get our check and because we had my daughters food replaced we were charged 2 kids meals for hers. Had to speak with manager and I explained everything and she had hardly anything to say but removed the extra meals. I complained on their website as to not blast them... I was sent gift cards by mail which was very nice. Decided to give them another chance because why not? This time I ordered to go. Said my food would be ready in 30 mins (by 630). It is now 7pm and I still do not have my food that I already paid for. So I don't know what the issue is with location but I wish I could give 0stars because they definitely made sure to earn themselves those 0 stars!!! We came in for a late lunch about 1:20 and we were seated by 1:30. The server greeted us with there were no chips because the fry cook did not show up that day, we saw two tables get chips as we were being seated and one get chips during our lunch. Oddly enough we didn't ask for chips! Our server was confused about the Chili's rewards program as I wanted to redeem one of my rewards and she told us we could not order regular menu items (the 2 for $25) because my reward could not be combined with any other offer... I asked her to check on it and she returned and said we could order regular menu items, so we placed the 2 for $25 order my reward order and a child's burger. We received the 2 for $25 meals, within 20 minutes, and yet it took another 20 minutes to get the rewards meal and the child's meal, my granddaughter was starving by this time. My salad had pieces of lettuce that were rotten black around the edges, the rice was burned, but the shrimp were well cooked. My granddaughter took one bite of her burger and would not eat more, I checked and her whole meal was stone cold and the burger patty was burned to a charred crisp! It was now almost 2:30 pm. We were never offered refills, the 2 for $25 meals were delicious according to my husband and grandson, but they never received their dessert! As we left I spoke to the manager about our horrible dining experience, bad service missing items and bad food are not something you want to repeat at this location given there many other restaurants in the same area. He expressed concern, and offered a future discount, I told him we would not be returning to this location. read more

I have been coming to this location for years and tonight we had the worst customer service EVER! When my husband put our name it he was told it would be 45 minutes. Okay not a big deal... it's a Friday night. When our name came up we had the misfortune of being after a large party (11 people). We should have been next. Then the hostess started calling other parties of 3 and 4 people. When my husband asked how long again the hostess said the manager told her not to seat us since we had 5 people in our party. And she could not tell us long it would be. REALLY!? How is my party of 5 different than multiple parties of 3, 4 or even a few parties of 2? I rated the Chili's on Camelback the other day, but I came to this Chili's after Church this weekend and everything we ordered was "Stellar!!! We got the classic nacho's with guacamole, triple play with chicken strips and southwest egg rolls, and the chicken platter with corn on the cob and mashed potatoes! Everything was wonderful!! Oh, yea, we had a coupon so we got free chips and queso dip. They were making a new batch so they gave us chips and salsa for free too while we waited for the queso dip!
