I went back here last night for and early dinner with the wife and OMG!! The food was good, no problems at all! The biggest thing was the service!! OMG it was good!! I mean G-O-O-D, good!! Maybe it was because I was there about happy hour, but either way my server Felicia ROCKED!! She was prompt, got my wife and I everything we needed and was tending a fairly busy bar on top of it! I might be wrong about how Chili's boneless wings are, but i know for sure how boneless chicken wings should taste like!! On November 4, 2019 Sunday, we had lunch there. I ordered the triple dish with 3 choices, boneless chicken wings, onion petals, and big bites. The chicken wings were white meat made to look like chicken wings! I thought u r supposed to debone the wings. Beside the cook put so much tobacco sauce on the so called wings , it was not edible. Also Chili's need to update your reward system, u r supposed to send me an email so i can change my password for my free birthday dessert. Don't eat here!!!! I have given this place so many chances and yet they let me down everytime. First it was the waitstaff who even ignored my table because I have kids. How is it okay to tell a person that is getting your service that you didn't want to take my order because I have kids. Then the food I got hard rice with a side of brown avocado, or the hard baji tacos, or my dinner tonight. Raw meat with my Tex mex bowl and welted lettus.... And my husband got cold ribs and fries. If you like eating at restaurants where patrons are permitted to smoke cigarettes, this is the place for you. As most health-conscious states ban smoking from food preparation/retail establishments, its hard to believe that a major franchise chain like Chilis still allows smoking (at any restaurant). I love Chilis' menu and was hoping to enjoy some good food, but due to the air (cigarette) pollution, I decided to order take-out instead. After 15 minutes with my take-out order in hand, I left the restaurant smelling like shit! My clothes, my hair and my to-go bag all smelled like smoke. My boyfriend and I have eaten at this location a few times, so I was surprised the reviews were so bad. My Watermelon margarita was excellent and he really liked his margarita as well. The food has been good every time, and the service has been consistently on point every time. The restaurant is clean, the only thing I can say i don't like is that I can't sit at the bar since they allow smoking. But as long as you eat in the dining area away from the bar you can't smell the smoke from the bar. Overall, this location is a great chill place for a quick dinner. read more

My husband and I decided to give this location a try a couple of Fridays ago. It was busy, which should be a good thing, & we waited about 20 minutes for a table. The smoke coming from the bar was very strong. Once seated, before having a chance to look at the menu, our waitress came over and said in a bored non-interested tone and face expressions to match that she will be our server. She obviously did not want to be there and even less interested in helping anyone. We had not been to a Chili's in literally years. We decided to share the mixed fajitas for 2 and they bring very tiny cups of toppings. We explained to our server that we were expecting enough for 2, so she brought another set of tiny cups and said that most people share. If we had known we were getting fajitas for one, we would have ordered 2 or at least an appetizer. The server was no help at all and had a nasty attitude the entire time we were seated. I've been to Chili's many times and enjoyed my meals, but today was the worst experience I've had at this location. First, there was no greeter, so we sat ourselves. The bartender (Jason)came up to us in a hurry, basically a walkthrough bartender/waiter. He left so fast that we couldn't finish ordering our waters. When he came back, we asked for some green sauce (avocado cream), all he said was,"yeah", and he was gone. Mind you, there were only 8 people besides us. Another waitress came with "wing sauce ". Once we told her and our experience so far, she apologized and went to get the correct sauce. Before that, she stops and tells him. Good customer service would be to come over and apologize and bring the correct sauce, but he never did. All he did was " walkthroughs". By then, we were ready to go. Let me start with I love chilis. I love chilis so much that regardless to fact that the 6 times I have been to this location, I have returned even though I left steaming each individual time. After my last encounter, however, my husband and i will not be returning. The waitstaff at this location is rude and they don't see to care much about anything going on. I have spoken to the male manager that usually works evenings twice about his waitstaff and each time he told me something along the lines of "next time we will do better", sir, that has yet to happen. This last encounter we had was at about 4:30p with a waitress named Kelsea. When we were first seated she seemed okay. Cheerful and almost happy to be there. After we asked to start with just water and didn't have our minds made up when she came back with them is when it took a turn. She left the table, because we weren't quite decided, when she came back she was very bland and almost rude. She said with no tone in her voice "can I get you an appetizer", my husband and I both looked at each other puzzled because it almost sounded as if she was first coming to the table. We didn't see her again until the food came out. She dropped it off and scurried off. It's a good thing my husband ordered water too, because I was out and nobody noticed, so I had his as well. When coming back to, what I would think would be check on us, see how we like our meal, she walks by and drops off the check and says, "no rush". That I couldn't stand. I've been a waitress before and that's beyond unprofessional. We were a couple of bites in and how did this girl know we didn't want desert? We saw her a couple of times after, but it was just as she tried to quickly walk by our table unnoticed. THIS CHILIS WAITSTAFF IS AWFUL!!!!!! Had ordered steak and potatoes they cooked the steak the way it was supposed to be cook but the steak had so much fat ruin the taste

After many years of eating here, food and service are no longer acceptable. Not sure why there has been such a drop off. Turnover? Menu changes? Management? Place is a trash pit. I complained to the waitress why a table of 10 across from us was not cleaned up, (the entire 45min we were there) including the food on the floor.. Her reply was that there is no bus person. The waitstaff has to bus the tables... When the restaurant gets slammed...the tables go uncleared.... they are too busy waiting tables....Unacceptable!!!! Food was served un-seasoned...especially the guacamole... Additionally the Presidente Margaritas serving size are dramatically reduced... They try to fool you by serving it in a smaller glass...thinking customers won't notice.... Once again the idiots in corporate are thinking they are saving a buck...with these cost savings measures.... But in actuality it's costing them revenue.... They need to get their noses out of their iPhones.... and pay attention to what's going on in their restaurants....I'll never frequent that Chili's again.... Most likely the entire chain.... Stopped by for the 2 for 20 dollars. Got the cheese fries as the appetizer and they were a good choice. I ordered the cajun chicken pasta, it was good but real heavy on the sauce. My wife had the steak which was flavorful but the piece I tried took a lot of chewing before I could swallow it. Lastly the service, I chalked it up to the young lady possibly being new. She didn't handle her section very well, it was like serve and forget. Stop smoking before you come to work, dude...Messes with your memory. No drink refills, no to-go boxes. He was holding his hands on his cheeks as if he was a dainty dame in distress while he spoke to us. Wtf, man. Manager couldn't even honor our free child's meal coupon like we were going to break Chili's for $5.19. C'mon man. Wow. Really underwhelming experience to say the least. Our waitress's name was Grace. She was very inattentive and the reason for only giving 2 stars. We have been to this particular Chili's a few times and have always had good experiences. This time, however, was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. She took forever to come back to take our food order. She probably checked on us maybe twice, but literally just walked by, didn't even stop. Never offered to re-fill drinks, I literally had to stop her and ask for one. My boyfriend's drink was super low too and usually waiters will ask the other person if they would like a re-fill as well, but no, she just took my drink and left. When she came back with a re-filled drink she literally just placed it on the table and left. She didn't even bother to ask my boyfriend if he would like a re-fill as well. She was more attentive to another table, but I suspect that is because she knew them personally. read more

Total Disaster tonight... came in with my wife and two young children, ordered two app trio plates and two entrees. Not 5 minutes after ordering the waitress brings our entrees to the table, and then realizes the apps (kids meals) haven't been brought out, so she takes back the entrees and about 10 minutes later out comes one appetizer, chicken crispers and sliders, which consisted mostly of soggy chicken that wasn't very hot. A few minutes after that the second app plate comes out and nothing was hot, all the food was lukewarm at best... so back it went. Another 10 minutes passes, kids are done eating and then the second appetizer plate comes out and is cooked properly. At this point the server tells us they are gonna re-fire our entrees and it should only 5-10 minutes, kids patience had now run out as we're about an hour into this ordeal, so we just asked for the entrees to go. Not sure where the screw up was if the apps weren't ordered or it was just the kitchen. Our server was apologetic and they took off both appetizers from our bill, which was appreciated, but the reality is we wanted to go out for a quick family dinner, and basically we spent an hour tasting cold appetizers, our kids couldn't eat their complete meals and we got our entrees to go which by the time we got the kids home and into bed the salad and fresh mex bowl we're well past their prime so they got pitched. In hindsight I should have just cancelled the entrees. Complete waste of money both on my part and the restaurants. They probably threw out 2 entrees and an app plate, and then I threw out the other two entrees. Lastly, it seems there are few other reviews about this location putting out cold food... if it's cold send it back, the food need to be cooked properly even though it's mostly frozen, you can still get sick. read more

This is our local Chili's Grill & Bar it is by far the best one we've been to. The service is terrific & there's never a long wait for our food. The last time we went we had a party of 7 & this was still not an issue. Great atmosphere for family,friends, & larger groups. Would recommend this establishment to everyone I know & meet! read more

Went in this location in Tomball around 9:20pm tonight. Place was pretty busy, but they were still able to seat us quickly. When food arrived at the table, the steak was completely raw in the middle, along with the rest of the food being cold. When waitress finally came back around (probably 15 minutes later), I let her know what the problem was. She apologized and went back into the kitchen. Couple minutes later, im guessing it was the manager that came back out. She apologized again for the uncooked food being served, and placed a few $5 coupons on the table along with the check, letting me know that since I had to send my whole meal back and didnt get to eat, that i wouldnt have to pay for that part. I paid the waitress for the bill and even gave her a nice tip just to let her know I wasnt blaming her for the cook in the back sending out the raw meat. After she took my money, she never again returned to my table. After waiting an additional 15 minutes or so for someone to come back by for a to-go box, we just gave up and left most of my girlfiends food sitting there. Lets just say I will not be returning to this location ever again. And im still feeling a little sick from eating a piece of the raw meat before realizing it wasnt cooked in the middle. read more

This restaurant has gone down hill fast. It used to be a great place to hang out with relatively decent food (for a chain). Today, we were a few of the first customers in at opening and while the service was decent, the food was horrible. The only semi edible food was the triple dipper which we ordered with the southwestern egg rolls (which were undercooked and not crunchy, seemed micro waved), fried pickles (in globs, stuck to each other), and buffalo bites with celery on the plate which was turning bad, were frozen and was now soft. The old timer with cheese was another menu item we ordered with a stale bun, lettuce that was slimed and dark green because it was rotting, and a puny slice of tomato that looked plastic. Others had the chicken enchiladas which were bad, but edible. The manager came over and offered to remake a cheeseburger, no way, too late, appetite was over. She offered a free dessert, well I'd like to eat a meal before I eat a dessert, another no thanks. She then offered to remove the chips and salsa we had ordered, big deal!!! *not.* I do not see a return to this Chilis in the near future, if ever. read more
