Tucson-Valencia Rd location We called to see how long the wait was and a gentleman answered and told us about 10 mins, we were about 4 mins away. When we arrived we checked in with the hostess who very rudely pulled up our names on her tablet and pointed to it and said "you've only waited 6 minutes of our required 30 mins wait". We then told her that we were told on the phone 10 mins and she very rudely said "by who? the wait is 30 mins!"and then a gentlemen came in and actually sat us immediately (despite the required (?) 30 min wait. This hostess should not be standing at the hostess area dealing with your customers, she might be better trained in an area of the restaurant away from customers. Our server, Blanca, wasn't rude or kind. She was melotoned and non-engaging. She did her job, which is all great, but not once did she act like she enjoys her job. Our food took 50 mins from the time we sat down to arrive, when we ordered within 5 mins. The food was not hot, lukewarm at best. This entire dining experience was not up to par, and for being in the hospitality service, Blanca and the hostess should have some cross training for customer service. read more

My recent visit to Chili's was a wonderful experience. My son and i had lunch, and i have to tell you that service was terrific, the staff was so friendly and outgoing. I had a southwest salad and my son had one of their delicious burgers. There was an honest mistake in the billing, when i got home i looked at my email receipt, and there was an extra charge for chips and salsa. I immediately called, and spoke to the manager, his name is Alan. He immediately acted on it, and since i live in a rural area outside of Tucson, i could not return to the store for the correction and refund. He offered me a gift certificate which was much more than the error. I will definitively be returning and become a loyal customer. Since when does the cook add things to the food that are not in the description? I had the veggie fajitas which has mushrooms, avocado, corn, peppers, onions on top of asparagus. Mine came with all that PLUS a veggie patty which I did not order and it scared me because I'm vegan, it looked like meat or burnt fish. Our server wouldn't come by enough and when she did, shed leave before I could ask for more napkins, and mustard. Hubby got a hamburger, asked for a double but got a single. read more

My wife and I have been there 3 times now. First time it took forever. The wait staff takes your order and an expediter delivers the food. Didn't see our waiter at all after our meal was delivered. Did not get all my food. The second time we went it was freezing cold inside (July). You could hang meat in there. The third time, again, lousy service, waiter took our order, it get delivered to our table, but our waiter disappears. No drink refills. The service here is awful. Food is good though. read more

I tried this location a year ago and was so disappointed. Recently I placed a curbside order and to my surprise the foods was better than I had remembered. Very, very poorly run. The seating hostess (who looked to be all of eighteen years old) told us that there was a thirty to forty minute wait when we entered. The place was a ghost town, except for a few customers at the bar. Really?? This was 4 pm on a Sunday night. The party in front of us left for the same reason. A piece of advice for management; If folks make on-line reservations, but are not actually at the restaurant, you might want to seat the customers you ACTUALLY DO have. What with COVID and all, you might want to make a few bucks, rather than send that money elsewhere. Tonight you did just that. My mom and I wanted to visit and have a nice meal out. Instead, we went home and Domino's Pizza got our money. Another word of advice to you, Chili's. Please take the time to train your servers in wine. It's been awhile since I've been to Chili's but I expected the menu to contain diabetic-friendly choices other than salad. It did not. I ordered chicken fajitas and asked if I could substitute the high-carb rice and beans with a vegetable. The waiter and manager both told me the company doesn't allow them to substitute. WHAT? Aren't we in the 21st century? So many Americans are diabetics, overweight or just looking for low-carb options. How can a large chain restaurant in America like Chili's fail to accommodate such a large portion of our population? Other chain restaurants don't discriminate like this. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I ordered a meal To Go over the phone. Was very specific on my order, and repeated it twice and had the girl taking the order repeat it as well. She told me it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I got there 30 minutes later, and pulled into a To Go parking spot. Girl came out and asked my name; said she'd be right back. 20 minutes goes by, and nothing. So I call back in to the to go area, and the girl says "oh it's just coming up right now". Brings it out, and I leave, and then check my food. It was COLD and SOGGY. How was it cold and soggy if it just came out? The order was completely wrong, and was missing items. I've now called FOUR times to speak to a manager and keep getting the run around-they say a manager will call back, or they're going to get them; and I sit on hold and no one comes back to the phone or calls back.. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I will NEVER eat at a Chili's again. Nasty food, lazy workers, and the worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

We have gone to this location about 4 times since it is close to the house, but we have finally made the choice to stop going here since no matter what time of day or during the week we get subpar service and food. Was in Tucson for the weekend (may 5th 2013) and stopped in this location on the way to the airport. Food tasted ... strange and a bit different! The location was a little "sticky" , thus did not seem too sanitary from the get go. In the plane about 2 hours later, I had to get rid of the Memphis Dry-rub full rack of ribs in a hurry by means of a plastic bag, which made for a terrible flight back home. FOOD POISONING! After two additional days I was once again able to take in solids and walk upright because the stomach cramps had finally subsided. My sister was visiting from out of town, so we decided to go here and meet some other friends for coffee/dinner. The first thing you notice, is the loud music. Chili's appears to cater to the millennial crowd, and not the old folks. And for the record, I AM hard-of-hearing, and use hearing aids. Our guests arrived, and Mom and I decided we just wanted decaf coffee. Everyone ordered, and then we settled in for what we hoped was a short wait, since the restaurant was NOT crowded. (Monday after Mother's Day). After a 15 minute wait, our coffee finally arrived. It was lukewarm, black, and bitter. It was undrinkable under any circumstances. We complained, the slacker/waiter removed it from the table. This turned out to be an omen for the food to come. Another 20 minutes went by, and the food arrived. All the meals, including the macaroni and cheese and chicken tenders for my 3 year old great niece were stone cold. Really? I asked for extra dressing for my side salad. You guessed, it another 20 minutes went by, (so we are now talking an hour after we entered the restaurant), the waiter (who was a slacker millennial -- i.e. no concept or urgency, let alone customer service) was finally cajoled into bringing me the dressing, after asking twice. Water glasses went unfilled, we had to ask and wait, for everything. We enjoyed our visit with our guests. If we hadn't have asked our guests to meet us at Chili's, we certainly would have walked out after the long wait for the bad coffee. We were never so embarrassed in our lives. We won't go here ever again. Waste of money. We could have gone to Mc Donald's and had better coffee with better service, and hot food. Next time, that's precisely what we will do. Wayno read more

Walked in on Thursday at 9 for happy hour, free chips and salsa, server was GREAT, everytime I asked for something it was on our table FAST, the food came out faster than we were ready for it, a plus right there, refills on drinks were always on our table before our drinks were done, that waiter, she did an outstanding job! read more

The staff there is always so attentive, the food is pretty quick of your on a lunch break and they will pack you a to go beverage.

Arrived around 7:30pm on a Wednesday evening. No hostess to greet us or seat us. We ended up finding a place in the bar area. The waiter was nice but could have taken our order faster. It took several attempts to get his attention, we ordered and waited.....and waited....and waited.... Our food took nearly 45 minutes to arrive. We ordered an appetizer; it arrived burnt and seconds before our actual main course. Chili's is normally a fall back place when trying to get a quick bite for dinner. This restaurant needs improvement. The restaurant was relatively empty, there were enough employees around to help but not a good experience. I'll think twice about coming to this location. I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken salad and the lettuce was wilted and soggy. The chicken was really good except for the lettuce. The tomatoes were also really soggy as if the salad had been sitting there for a while before it was served to me.
