Leave it to Chili's to be the shining star of this trip. Rolling deep to a restaurant can go many ways. The weather one day and my daughter's softball team winning the Space Coast world series the next day had us here two days in a row. Both days Brooke was able to accommodate 25-40 people 15 are kids!!! Last minute. She did it so gracefully handling all the orders. No panic, friendly, helpful. Do not go here! The air conditioning unit doesn't work! We couldn't enjoy ourselves for sweating so bad while trying to eat our food. As a 30 year customer of dozens of Chilis restaurants I have always had adequate to good service. Last night we had top notch food and service at this location. I had an excellent experience at Chili's in Viera, Florida today. I stopped in planning to grab a quick burger to go, but the service in the To-Go section made the visit even better than expected. Chris, who was working the To-Go counter, was incredibly helpful. I was pretty indecisive about what to order, and he patiently walked me through the options and recommended a great lunch special. I ended up getting a delicious burger with fries, plus soup and chips as part of the special. Everything tasted great and the value was fantastic. The burger was cooked perfectly, the fries were hot and fresh, and the entire order was prepared quickly. What really stood out though was the customer service. Chris went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. If you're in the Viera area and looking for a great burger, quick lunch, or takeout, I highly recommend this Chili's location. First I want to give a positive shoutout to our server Brie. She did an awesome job, she was attentive and did everything right. The manager on the other hand, an older woman with brown hair yelled at me when I pointed out the nachos were priced incorrectly in the menu, based on what we were charged. My friend ordered the plain old nachos with the queso with beef. The menu states it is $11.59 to order it that way. But if you order it with chicken, it's an upgrade and the menu states it is $13.29. We were charged $13.29 for the regular nachos with the queso with beef. I explained this to our waitress and she told the manager and the manager sent her back to tell us, beef is an up charge. So I pulled out the menu and said "well right here it says nachos come with queso with beef and it is $11.59. If you order it with chicken, it's an up charge for $13.29." She went and told her manager what I said and the manager sent her back again to repeat what she told me before. I also repeated myself and so Brie asked me what I wanted to happen. I told her I want the manager to come read the menu. Out comes the manager WITH HER OWN MENU. she whips out the menu and tells me "it's $13.29 if you order beef or chicken with your nachos." I said "no, she ordered this (the one that comes with queso with beef) thinking she would get that, not extra beef. So if that's the case, that beef is an up charge, the menu needs to be fixed for false advertising. People will think they are ordering this one with beef for $11.59." After that, she got heated enough and decided to yell at us "I'll fix it for you this time but next time read the menu!" And walked away. This person should be fired, and should not be working as a manager. Maybe not in customer service, period. I have contacted corporate to report her unnecessary behavior over $2! I have never had anything like this happen. I am appalled, and shocked and will not be back at this location whatsoever. read more

Met up with a friend when I was in Viera and we decided to come here for lunch. We started with the Presidente Margaritas. Very good and we even got a souvenir shaker with it! I ordered the chicken quesadillas, Yummy, and way more than I could eat. Came with a side of sour cream, salsa and ranch! Definitely would order again! Our server, (I don't know her name, and I'm mad at myself for that) was the best. She was very attentive, funny, very personable and a bartender too! Food and service was good but be warned they charge you a fee for that silly game thing on the table. In this day and age when we all have cell phones I can promise you that no one wants that. There are no signs warning about the fee. They just count on the fact that your kid will start using it so you won't see the tiny on screen disclaimer on the screen itself. Waitress told us when we questioned the fee that it tells you in the beginning. I wonder how many millions this company makes off of this sneaky gimmick. Now we know. Great experience tonight. . Have not been to a Chili's in a while, but looking for Mexican in Viera, and this seemed to be our choice. Happy to say Tyler was our bartender and was so friendly, helpful and attentive. The rest of the staff was also super friendly. The bar had a nice atmosphere which we always look for. We signed up for Chilis Rewards (easy) and got free chips & salsa. The chicken and shrimp fajitas were great and perfect to share. The sausage was cold so the server took it back to the kitchen, well while she did that I decided to try the Nashville hot crispers, and they were cold, so I decided to try the honey chipotle crispers, well I'll be damned those too were cold. We went there on Halloween night with a big group after the baseball tournament bc we were staying across the street at Fairview. i am sure they were shocked to see a bunch of rowdy drunk people with kids lol. Little by little this place is sinking. So sad because most of the servers and bartenders are great. This place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. The bathrooms are worse than a gas station bathroom. The bar and dining areas have mold and dirt all over the air vents, walls, and overall ceiling area. I've dined a few times now at this Chili's and it's about as on par as all the others I have eaten at, to date. The menu is extensive with food that is what you would expect at a big box location - nothing spectacular or overly special, but still good and fulfilling. The service is a bit hit-or-miss, I think the service around the bar area is more concerned with drinks (the alcoholic type) rather than true service. I have had better service in the main dining area. Something I will keep in mind the next time I frequent the place. Overall, its clean and solid. read more

The tables were dirty when we were being seated, the hostess half cleaned the table in front of us spraying cleaner all over my son. The wait for the food took forever, when I finally got my food it was not cooked all the way...they took it back to recook my order and when they brought it back it was wrong...my total bill was wrong. The kids meal was advertised at 5.75 and they charged me more, the hostess went to check with the manager and said she would return....her or the manager never came to the table to correct the mistakes that I was charged for...it was just an overall terrible experience. I double checked w/ the host to make sure kids could sit in the bar area (tables/booths), he confirmed it was fine. A lady at the bar decided to turn around every time my 4 yr old son got excited while playing games on the tablet you pay your bill with. My Santa Fe salad was good, I had to go up to the bar & ask for the orange spicy dressing that's supposed to come on it. I also had to ask for my black beans I ordered on the side. The 2 bartenders were pretty busy but did a pretty good job. The drinks were weak, kind of to be expected since they are 2 for 1. But they are better at the Wickham location. This is probably the worst Chili's I have ever experienced and I have gone to this place more times than I can count. But the last time was the icing on the cake (no pun intended when I am finished). It was our oldest daughters birthday. Her first real birthday she was really excited for knowing the things a place sometimes adds to make a birthday extra special. However, our plans changed last minute and we had to go to Chili's. The waitress was a much older woman who tried to be happy in the beginning. I mentioned how excited we were for her birthday and couldn't wait for her to celebrate it. Well that was in one ear out the other. The food took forever, and drinks were never refilled. We had another customer behind me in the booths. She never checked up on us after the food and she wasn't even the one who delivered it. Our waitress just stayed and talked to him the rest of the night. They apparently knew each other very well. If she wasn't talking to him, we never saw her again. I waited around hoping to catch her for a birthday treat. My kids were getting exhausted, I could see it in their eyes. It wasn't worth staying. I tried not to bring too much attention about it in front of our daughter, so she didn't realize what happened (or what didn't) and wouldn't be disappointed. If it wasn't for the computer checkout, we would probably still be there waiting for her. Thanks Chili's for hiring a person who clearly hated life and their job and cared only about themselves who ruined my daughters birthday. Oh man, I have to leave a review?! Well, I'll be honest with you. They have excellent food and drinks. I'm never disappointed but I'm a Chilis fan. If you don't like Chilis then, mwah. However I will saw, the bartender I tend to get Tuesdays after 6pm isn't the most sociable. I'm used to Jared over in Daytona Beach ^_~. He knew my name and my drink and at last said "hey how are you today" when I spent $40 in drinks. That being said, they are still pleasant and hospitable. Overall pleased with this trip. We arrived right at opening and it seems as though they were not completely ready to begin serving us and the service was a little slow. Our server was nice, but our drinks sat at the bar for a few minutes before she brought them to us. The atmosphere was nice and clean and they have recently remodeled. The food was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed our chips and Queso. My husband and I split a triple dipper with the new onion rings which were so crispy and cooked to perfection.
