I love Chili's! I've been to others where the menu has been exactly the same but the food has been MUCH better. I had the dry rub ribs as part of the 2 for $20 or whatever they call it. The fries were the best part and they were just average fries. The half rack was 5 ribs that must've come off of the hungriest cow ever killed. Bad experience on July 24th. I realize there is a shortage of employees due to covid, so why do you allow customers to come and sit without service. Waited over 30 minutes to be waited on. Another 30 to get our food. Very limited contact by waiter during the meal. Food prepared was wrong which they did correct. Entire meal almost 2 hours. Again, if you don't have the employees, don't bring in the customers. It is unconscionable to make your customers wait. It is not likely we will go there again. My time at this Chili's was abysmal. First off, Our Waiter was not attentive to us, not giving us refills or asking how our food was. We decided to leave and as we exited the bar tender apologized and explained he was dealing with take-out orders. Chili's eh? What can I say? I've been there twice on two separate occasions. I would say that this restaurant is suited for those who have low standards for food. The steak is dryer than the Sahara desert and the accompanying sides offered with the steak make the dish worse. The mashed potatoes taste awful, it's like they've been kept out for a long time after being boiled. This results in a sticky and awful mixture. For anyone who enjoys fresh food, this is not your ideal place to dine. Unless, of course, you're on a tight budget and you want to go to a "real" restaurant. The food has a mix of frozen, and microwave taste. I would rather spend my money at McDonald's. I truly think that this deserves a 1-star-rating. No complaints about the food. It's what you expect to eat at a place like this. Now the waitress- talk about someone having a bad day! When I arrived she didn't give her name although I did ask twice. Then when we ordered bottomless drinks she kept telling us that was our last drink so we bought it to her attention that 1 it's bottomless and 2 even if it weren't she shouldn't tell us that's our last drink. I mean unless she was paying for lunch. So she got really aggravated, rolled her eyes and walked off. But the food was absolutely terrible it's not like other Chili's for some reason. The food tasted like it was bad high school food. I went to chili's for my mother's birthday and the waiter was horrible and forgetful. When bringing us food he forgot to give us utensils and straws. Whenever we asked for something he would take 15-20 minutes to give us what we asked for and totally forget about it. I love coming to Chili's! The one at Palisades Mall is cool because the people there are awesome and the food there is great! The tablets you play games on are cool too! Seriously awful. How many characters do I have to express the horrors that is this location as I will be fair and not generalize? The last time I saw a beloved family member was a meal out at Chili's and that is the last thing the little one remembered and was convinced for a long time that the meal had in fact assisted in this person's demise. I always argue it and say that it didn't and there's nothing to be scared of. Wow I'm so done arguing that statement. Just literally walked out of this facility. To start off the hostess was not at the front end when we arrived. The 5 minute wait didn't bother me. The restaurant was practically empty so seating us should be a no brainer. She takes us out to the patio area and we requested a seat inside. As I said there were a lot of empty tables. She says" there are no clean tables you'll need to wait 5-10 minutes". Mind you the tables only needed to be wiped down. There were no dishes in them. She couldn't wipe the tables? The kids meals are actually pretty healthy and reasonably sensible portions for once, but the fattest of my kids insists on getting some enormous adult size burger instead, and I just can't fight it any more.
