Evelyn and Charlene out for a great Lunch at Chilis /

Had the Pleasure of going to Lunch with a Dear friend.she suggested Chilis. Chiles did not disappoint. The food was fast hot and delicious. The Manager David was out on the floor making sure all was going well. He Checked to see how the food was asked me about my family. You can almost never expect this type of service any more. Thank you Chilis and David for the good food and the personal touch. I will definitely be back . Chilis 5 David 10

Ayesha is a great server! Chili's helped facilitate the dinner of our school group on a Friday night, 42 of us at 8:30pm. They were really great! They made the space for us because we called ahead and made our reservations. We so appreciate their cooperation and service. Drinks never ran dry. Chips were served bottomless, over and over again. She fed our hungry group. And there were other servers too. Overall, I was very pleased with their efficiency in getting our group served!

I had the Ultimate smokehouse combo and substituted my fries for another Carnaval corn on the cob. It was all fantastic!

Great menu that delivered as described. Staff was friendly and accommodating to a large group with members who needed special seating due to health. We were a group of 20 and needed several separate checks. There were no messed up orders and everyone enjoyed their meal. Great menu that delivered as described. It has been awhile since I visited Chilli's and unfortunately the wait was a bit longer than normal. The waitress Kate was amazing however, I dont think there was enough staff present for the number of Pateons that showed up. This did cause a delay in service food was good but the El Nino Margarita had to much ice as it was 90% ice looking at the cup and maybe just 10% alcohol and that's after it was drank.

Average. Good restaurant with more choices than I expected. Food was a bit salty. Service was slow and the waitress wasn't very on the ball.

Let me first start this review by saying that came at lunchtime primetime at 12:30 and the parking…read morelot was full. This is a popular location in the small town of BurkeBurnett.. The restaurant is a little bit, faded and worn the signage around the building as well as the trash receptacle definitely needs a little bit of revitalization. When you enter in the door, we were greeted immediately and seated right away. The waitress was exceptional as far as being attentive to the table, making sure the drinks were refilled, and even asked if I wanted an extra basket of chips before the food was served. The decor is bright and colorful, but it is a very small dining area with a small bar. They had quite a bit of cocktail mixed drink, and beer offerings. I opted for a iced tea with lemon.. I ordered the sample platter so I was able to get a taste of a few different items. It arrived very shortly after it was ordered. I did include a picture when it was first put in front. It seemed very appetizing, but unfortunately, at least for my taste the chicken taco I ordered was a hard shell and ample filled with ingredients, but the chicken was canned and had that metallic canned taste.. The second item was the cheese enchilada and I ordered the green sauce. The green sauce was very flavorful salted just right and had a nice kick to it. But the cheese inside the enchilada was not melted so unfortunately, every bite the cheese was laying inside there just as it was placed and not melted together. The pork tamale that came with the sample plate was very small in size it did have ample filling in it, but it was extremely heavily seasoned. Definitely had that Tex-Mex flavor to it on a scale of one to 10 I would rate it probably 3 1/2. The reason for that is just it was a very overwhelming seasoning taste. You couldn't really taste the MASA or the filling individually. The beans were ranchero style with whole beans and some other spices. Very similar though to what you would get out of a can. They did not have refried beans that I was aware of. The rice was light and flavorful.. overall I would definitely say I would not have chicken from the can at this restaurant unless that something that you enjoy. The chips and salsa were actually very good. The chips were corn and crunchy and had lots of nooks and crannies so to hold your sauce. The salsa had lots of garlic in it and a nice not overly salted seasoning definitely one of the bright spots of this lunch. The service was outstanding. And there is a very good size menu, including some American food offerings which should lend me to come back and try the spot again maybe something different would strike a cord with me. But for now, I'm gonna leave this at a three star rating.. one word of warning they do have a 3 1/2% convenience fee for using a credit card. If you show up with cash then maybe the 3 1/2% won't be a surprise for you. I was unaware and it did add quite a bit to the Bill. they do offer a 10% discount for military.

From the inside, still looks like any other small diner in a strip mall setting. The tables are either booths or wooden tables with wooden chairs. There are TVs lining the walls and some booth have TVs at them as well. Every one if tuned to sports. The ceilings are high and the vibe is sports bar meets middle of nowhere, local hangout. The place was very busy for 7:30 on a Friday night and the atmosphere is uber casual. Greeted by a seat yourself sign, we found a table in the front corner, by the window, and waited for our server. Within a few minutes we were waited on and given our drinks. First place in a long time that carries Coke products and offered diet Dr Pepper- good start. We order onion rings as an appetizer and I got the soft taco basket while hubby got the crunchy taco basket for dinner. We hopped up shortly after we ordered and moved to an empty table a few feet away because the AC in the area we were sitting was unbearable. Way too windy and way too cold. Found our new seat to be better from a warmth standpoint. Onion rings came out and while there were only 6 in the basket, they were huge and cooked to a nice golden color. Unfortunately, they were a little bland, but with some salt and ranch, not too bad. My soft tacos were delivered open face on a large plate. Interesting presentation for sure. There were 3 and each came with ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I ordered sour cream on the side and am happy to say, they were delicious. I only ate 2 of the 3 so proportionally they were a very good offering. Hubby's order included 4 crunchy tacos, same fillings- except no tomatoes for him- and I took a small bite to taste the shell. No complaints from either of us. Our server was really sweet and other than a slight delay between getting our drinks and ordering dinner, service was fast and efficient. Dinner cost about $45 in total- with tip- so not too bad for a quick stop in a little town. Hope you enjoy

I told him the app where I order and finding the catering menu wasn't clear so he suggested I call them? Who has time for that these days? I spent $200 to feed 10 ppl without drinks. When I got to my office, they didn't have any plates and the office manager had to go buy some for her staff! They're also hardly on time every time I've ordered. I usually place my order pick up time to allow 15 mins for them pack it up/find it. There's so many options in Wichita Falls to get take out and people who go above and beyond for customers, especially repeat customers. It's a shame he stiff armed me today. After ordering, we were given chips and salsa (had a bit of a kick which I like), and had the chance to put in a queso order (I'm not a queso connoisseur, but it was pretty tasty). We found out it was our waiter's third day on the job. Being a former waiter, I factored that into my rating. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time for everyone, and it was pretty good! I got something similar to a chicken bowl, and it was seasoned to perfection. My markdown here comes from a couple of forgotten drink orders, and the time it took to pay our tickets. If I were a new waiter, I wouldn't expect to get a table this large that soon, so I would caution management on that going forward. The manager on duty understood this, and gifted us a few vouchers for our next visit. With the space for large parties, tasty drinks, and a friendly staff, this On The Border should be considered for your enjoyment!
