Came here to catch up with an old friend with family. Our food took a lil over 20 minutes. My husbands chicken had extreme amounts of fat in it. Our appetizer was burnt The manager gave us a free desert for it. The server was nice but once we were done we sat a talked for a little bit before leaving and she with no discretion kept passing by rolling her eyes at our table. Very rude. We stopped by for lunch on our way out of town. Service was great and you could tell from the management staff overseeing the waitstaff that they cared about it. We had the 2 for $20 which is one of the best deals around. One chicken fajita and one chipotle crispers plus a very good chipotle flatbread appetizer to share. The flatbread was wonderful and perfectly cooked. The teenager said it was the best flatbread she ever had! This place was just as good as our usual Chili's in the Dulles Town Center area and it gets 4 stars, which makes it a great place to eat in York! read more

California Grilled Chicken Flatbread....very good and perfect fresh from the kitchen I could see the potential for the bread to get mushy if it sat around. No chance. HA! Was sitting in the parking lot at 5:50 and received an email at 6pm telling me my order never went through. So I tried to call. Wife and I both had a salad with sliced grilled chicken at the bar. Very disappointed that it seemed they split one chicken filet over the two salads, I think I had 5 thin slices total. This use to be my favorite place up until last night me and my boyfriend went for date night. The presedente margaritas we ordered we very sour not very good but we didn't complain. I'm a vegetarian and ordered texas cheese fries as an appetizer with the bacon on the side for my bf. Got the order with everything on the side but the bacon :-(. We didn't want to complain about it as we know servers make mistakes but this upset me and i didn't eat any of it. Then when we got out meals mid way through our food the server seem to be kicking us out instead of asking did we need anything else or desert she asked if we wanted boxes. Then shortly after i found hair in my dinner... we just chalked it up and didn't say anything, wasn't a very great night there at all... was pretty upset. This place gets 3 stars and is lucky it wasn't 2 stars. If not for previous experiences, it would have definitely been 2 stars. To me, Chili's food is pretty standard and I typically like it no matter which location I'm at. This visit was no different, as I got a jalapeno smokehouse bacon burger. It was good, but I did request it to be done medium rare and it came out well done. I might or might not have said something, but it was a moot point, as I probably only saw the waitress twice throughout the entire lunch. I am a very laid back person that rarely complains about service, but whoever this was is lucky they are employed. I can't even make up excuses for you. Yes it was lunch, but well after 1PM and not busy at all. I witnessed the few other tables in the section also having similar situations as they looked around trying to locate anyone, let alone the actual waitress to wait on them. It actually took at least 5 minutes to even be acknowledged once we were seated. Overall a great place to eat if you like Chili's, I'm just chalking this visit up to a terrible waitress that will most likely not even be employed there by the next time I stop in. I'm back again to give this place the rating it deserves. The customer service here is atrocious. I order the ribs and shrimp and get ribs and salmon. I don't touch my plate and put it to the side of the table and the waiter doesn't come back or notice for nearly 10 minutes. He goes to fix it and about 5 minutes later returns with the same ribs that were cold and tasted like fish. I was famished so I said nothing more and dealt with the ribs as I waited another 10+ minutes to get my shrimp. After the meal was said and done, I had to wait at least another 20 minutes to even be asked if I would like anything for dessert or the check. Obviously the check at this point. Mind you, this was not a busy night at all. Sorry for the horrible tip buddy, but you are lucky you even received one. The least you could have done was comp a drink or something in return for the terrible service. I love Chili's but this is some of the worst service I have run into in any restaurant. The management of this location has lots to learn about running a restaurant. I'm not in the restaurant business but I do know you need to keep the customers happy. I will still go to the Chili's in East York, but this location has lost a customer for life. read more

Went here on Father's Day. Saw a lot of families with little ones waiting for a long time to get their food. The manager came out and I could here her speaking to the families. Diner was free. Some people understood and said thank you and others just started yelling in front of their children and making a seen. Those are the ones who should stay home on holidays. My sister and I went to this location last night and while the service was very good, the food was terrible! She got the honey chipotle chicken crispers which had very little honey chipotle sauce on. I got the 6 oz steak which I had ordered medium. It ended up well done and like shoe leather. The chips and salsa were great and the server was constantly checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. My family and i all went to this chain tonight and my sister is actually the one who lives out here. the rest of my family is visiting from NJ. Our terrible experience started with the girl answering the phone when we made reservations. my brother in law informed her there was 10 of us. and she quickly responded with "OH GOD.." i got a bit annoyed because it's her job to make reservations for people. usually people with big parties do that. She told us it would be about 45 mins to an hour. Almost seemed as if she was trying to discourage us from burdening them. But still, we got ready and went to Chili's. As soon as we sat down next to the window i found ants on the table! ALREADY IM DISGUSTED! bit we decided to stay. ( what a bad decision on our part) we waited almost an hour to get all our food, to start. and when it came out my nephews and nieces plate were SO HOT it scolded ME! the buns on their little sliders were ice cold and hard as a rock! The waitress was trying to offer new buns and honestly the meal was so dry and gross we wanted new meals. She tried to push new buns on us again, not wanting to offer us new meals. We insisted on picking something new and she said okay. then we come to find that my sister fajitas were cold and didn't come out sizzling as they're supposed to be served. my parents both ordered enchiladas and they were also ice cold and the plates were disgusting and dirty. it looked like puke on a plate. and from what they said the tags wasn't from from that. the only thing that wasn't really terrible was my burger ..which was dry and tasteless but still tolerable. all in all this Chilis has a lot of work to do and should really keep an eye on their kitchen. GROSS! The one thing they did do is take off the 2 children's meals from the bill. But that doesn't fix the entire evening, in my opinion. read more

I love chilis with my heart an soul. There is no better restaurant in the universe, the service there is to die for and all the servers there are cool as the other side of the pillow. I ordered one margarita and it was so strong that by the end of it I was naked dancing on the host stand. I ordered a triple dipper as my meal, generally I don't triple dip but I couldn't help myself. Afterwards I ordered a molten cake for dessert which I strongly suggest bringing a change of clothes because I nearly creamed my pants. Over all this visit was spectacular and I'm considering selling my house and moving closer to this Chilis location. read more

My first visit here several years ago kept me from coming back until recently. Their burger meat appears to be of better quality now but not what should be in a national restaurant. I also learned a valuable lesson: garlic soaked pickles destroy the taste of a burger! For me anyway! My guest ordered what I think was chicken fajitas. When she was done shoveling the filling onto her tortillas and eating them one by one she had enough filling left over for two more. Went there on 12/27/12 - Made reservations for a party of 12 + 3 children for 7:15. They were ready early and could accommodate us at 7:00. The waitress (Cathy I think) completed the entire order without a mistake, including accommodating for vegetarian orders (beyond the black bean burger). The food was hot, tasty, and on time and no one waited for a beverage at anytime during the night. She served us as if we were a party of 2 - so prompt, efficient, and correct. Overall, maybe the best experience I have had with a large party in a long time. read more

I like it. It's close to home, it's a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is normally friendly foods great. The bar area is a nice size, me and my wife go here almost every Thursday. I stopped at Chili's after attending an exciting night of auto racing at Lincoln Speedway. I entered the restaurant and was immediately greeted warmly by the hostess and she took me immediately to a clean table and seated me. Within a minute my server introduced herself and offered drink choices and I already knew what I wanted and she rang up the order. I visited the restroom, which was clean and washed my hands and by the time I got back to my seat my drinks were there. Before long my meal arrived and it was sizzling and the aroma was fantastic. The server repeatedly stopped by to see if there was anything I needed and as I was finished she brought the bill and I was able to pay. I thanked the server for a great meal and quality service and left Chili's feeling well fed and satisfied. If you get a chance do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a pleasant dining experience. I was amazed that the staff was so pleasant and cheerful even at 10:30 pm in the evening! read more
