I am so thankful that Isaac and another staff member from Chimney Professionals came out to our home to inspect our fireplace and made sure we knew how to safely and properly use it. We have been in the home for 10 years and have never used this fireplace before because I had never been comfortable using a wood burning fireplace with a gas starter. Isaac gave me a two hour timeframe and let me know about 30 minutes beforehand that they were on their way. He was kind and courteous, great with my two curious kids as well. He took the time to not only go over everything with me on how to safely operate it, but also recommended what type of wood to burn. This indoor and outdoor chimney inspection gave me the peace of mind to enjoy my fireplace this winter. BEWARE!. My direct vent fireplace was left with a GAS LEAK that I had to call a plumber to fix after chimney professionals worked on it. The service technician said I needed to replace the entire inside of my unit. I ordered the parts that he told me to off of Amazon. When he came back to install them, it took him over six hours to do so and the next day my wife and I still smelled gas. not to mention several pieces of the outside of the fireplace were scratched and damaged and I'm probably going to have to replace those. I called a trusted plumber and he told us that a coupling that needed Teflon on it to seal it was left without Teflon and it was definitely leaking gas and was a safety hazard. The plumber fixed my leak. Could've been a very tragic mistake. When I told the owner, he wanted to come back out and look at the fireplace himself which I was OK with. But we had a miscommunication on those appointment times. Isaac, the owner did try to call me and rectify that situation but by then I was just ready to move on. read more

One star is too gracious for this "company" Oh man. Where do I begin. These professionals came to my house for a routine inspection and chimney cleaning. The first red flag I was the beat down mini van they showed up in. Oh was that a tell. After explaining how they were going to inspect the chimney (which was professional), they turned on the vacuum, and POOF. They forgot to put filter on. As such, for about 20 seconds, all the black soot / ash /etc.. from the fire box was sprayed all over the home. The ceilings, the walls, the contents, multiple rooms, all covered in black. Immediately , the owner told not worry, he was going to take care of this. Wow, what a stand I guy I thought. Accidents happen. However, Isaac thinks that this can be taken care of with a $400 maid service. After I spoke with my insurance company, they told me that I would need a company like ServPro. The estimate to clean the home, and contents are about $20,000. And can you believe, Isaac now doesn't want to honor his word?! Furthermore, Isaac is in the wind. I've asked Isaac for his insurance information on five different occasions over the week. Each and every time he either ignores me, or, simply tells me that he doesn't have coverage. EVERYONE I've talked to (My insurance, ServPro, Attorneys) are all confident that IF he was insured, this should be covered (after all, he's a CHIMNEY CLEANER). DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and do not EVER EVER EVER hire this terrible company. In a span of 20 seconds they cost me $20,000. We have had our chimney cleaned out several times by what I thought were "good" chimney sweep companies. I never felt the jobs were thoroughly performed until Isaac came to our home and cleaned out our fireplace. We had burned over a cord of wood every year for almost 30 years and now we wanted to convert to a gas log system. Isaac did an amazing job cleaning and explaining everything he needed to do and was very careful with our furnishings, area rugs and wood floors. He went on the roof and after cleaning from the top as well, he informed me that our chimney cap was not the right size and was not in good shape. He brought it down to show me and I agreed with his assesment. He told me he would fabricate a new one and come back in about a week to install it. Since we were new to gas logs, I had no idea how to proceed or where to go to buy the product. He gave me the name of a very popular brand and I picked out a size and style that I liked best. He advised me on how to proceed with the purchase and I let him know when the gas log kit arrived at our house. He came back a few days later and installed it all. I bought the H burners and fire glass easily from Amazon. Once I knew a delivery date, I called Isaac and scheduled the install. Ryan called when he was on the way. He and an associate came on time. They were very friendly, explained what they were going to do, and got straight to work. Ryan laid a blanket down, vacuumed/swept the inside of my fireplaces, removed the old gas piping, removed my old chain screen, repainted the interior to a fire resistant black paint, installed the new H burner, added the fire glass and showed us how best to light it.
