Portion was good for the Orange chicken and the rice was not big. It was in a small container, it is the cheapest cost item to the Resturant. Most other places load on the rice for visual volume. The chicken was very dry even though I asked for more sauce. If had a strong after taste, maybe MSG? But not sure if it was masking chicken which was all dark meat(?) I did notice a discomfort on my stomach right away but it went away. Rice was very dry, like sticky rice. I personally will not order again but they got good reviews. He loves this place. And after trying more of the entrees and lunch specials, bento boxes, our food was quite good. All the food and drinks were delicious, cooked well. Yes I've seen the low rating reviews and we had a good experience. All the food was flavored well, some were spicy but not too spicy for us. Ordered: Bento Box - with Mongolian Beef & Yellowtail roll It came with a huge serving of Mongolian beef, Yellowtail roll, white rice, side salad, egg roll, and crispy cream cheese wonton. I sampled some of the other entrees: General Tso's chicken, orange chicken, lo mein, and another beef dish. All were good, I like it better than Panda Express. No complaints. Delivery is great as well. Everything was packaged nicely including drinks. They taped the top of the thai tea drinks so it wouldn't spill. We will order from here again. Was in the mood for some carryout chinese soup so I came to pick up some egg drop soup and hot & sour soup. Saw that the general tso's chicken got good reviews too, so I picked up some of that with fried rice. The chicken had a good flavor to it but the batter was a little mushy; the fried rice was mushy too. Seafood hot & sour soup sounded strange to me but the seafood actually went pretty well with the soup. The egg drop soup was very bland. read more

After ordering food form this restaurant for many years, I'm sorry to say that the quality and taste of the food has gone WAY down hill. Most of the time I have the food delivered. On occasion I will stop by and pick it up. The delivery time is always great but the last few times I ordered, the food was stale, overcooked, or burnt. The last time I ordered, one of my items was Kung Pow Chicken. I was blown away when I open up the dish and saw "chicken nuggets" from the grocery store in place of the regular chicken. This was the final straw. I cannot recommend this Chinese food restaurant with so many other choices within a close distance. After poolside all afternoon cooking is out of the question. Sweet delivery was on the horizon. Chinese was the craving so now knowing the variety of cuisine I pulled up my handy Yelp app for choice close to me! Right away had my choice which turned out wonderfully for me and them. Placed the order and the process was extremely smooth. The pictures of their food selections were amazing. The selection of different variations of protein choices for the entrees fit the family choices with the different pallets I have at home to please. The delivery was super super speedy it seemed that about fifteen minutes after ordering my food that the knock at my door was my dinner! That is always amazing to claim. After drinking all day got this weird craving for Chinese, usually when these occur it takes forever for the order to be delivered and had satisfaction. This time Murphy was on my side! Here's what we had could not decide on veggie spring rolls or the House egg rolls so I ordered both. For the main dishes decided on teriyaki beef which comes with a huge amount of veggies and rice on the side. The second entree ordered was sweet and sour pork which is served with broccoli and choice of rice. Knowing the twins would eat most of the food I ordered the white rice; since they will ultimately finish it. Knowing brown rice is better option still working the twins into my health kick. It's has to be slow for them! Onto the taste: the sweet and sour pork was amazing so much balance between the sweet and the sourness; literally. While this dish was everything I wanted, it was everything that I did not need I ate very little of this. It was such a hit with the twins will order this one next time. The teriyaki beef dish was so much more delicious. The teriyaki sauce flavor was not overwhelming, but it was a great wonderful balance. The veggies in this entree were abundant too. With carrot, celery, cabbage tasted so great paired with the teriyaki beef. I was so impressed with this Chinese place not a lot of places can get good take out of this type of food. Chinese to me is best enjoyed right when it's served. To find a place delivers delicious Chinese will be my new staple bookmark! I have to confess this Chinese was awesome the next morning! With the portion ratio to price being such a great deal I would be stupid not to reorder from here! Price breakdown: -teriyaki beef $9.95 -sweet and sour pork $8.95 -egg rolls bundled together $4.95 The delivery charge was a cool $1.99 ! The beef and broccoli has no flavor...my opinion only. The low mein noodles had no flavor, but the chicken was good. However, the calamari was definitely on point. It was the only thing that I could eat. Maybe it's just my tastebuds. But I'd asked a couple other people about this place before going and neither were impressed with the food. 3.5 Stars. One of my Yelp goals is try all of the Las Vegas Chinese restaurants outside of the tourist zones and casinos. China AAA brings me closer to that goal. China AAA is a small take out style Chinese restaurant in the Albertson's-anchored shopping center at the southwest corner of Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard. Recently on November 11, 2019 and January 21, 2020 I took advantage of the lunch special. The lunch special I took advantage of costs $6.85 plus tax. A fountain beverage costs & 1.50 extra. Their are twelve lunch specials that include a cheese wonton, lo mein noodles, fried rice, and egg drop soup for dine-in orders. After taxes and a fountain beverage the lunch special comes out to $9.05 before the tip. I am happy to report that the service is great and the food is good. As soon as I walked in the woman who is the cashier slash waitress greeted me with a smile. Today when I walked in she wiped down a table so that I would have a place to sit and checked up on myself and all the diners a few times. Speaking of diners, the first time I ate here during a weekday lunch there were a few diners at the table where today I made it almost a full house. China AAA is a take out style restaurant where there is table service. This isn't one of those restaurants where you order at the counter and they bring it to you in a styrofoam box. Here they serve the food in compartmentized plates where everything is separated. The downside is that the entree seems to take up forty percent of the plate. Please see the pictures below. The upside is that the food is good and the lo mein noodles that are often filler food are flavorful. The two different entrees that I had here have been the shrimp chop suey and pepper steak. Based on my experience, I prefer their pepper steak. Now I am not happy to report that China AAA has stared in another platform aside from Yelp. And it is not a berry good one so to speak. It just so happened that when I went on Google to try to research the China AAA backstory and what the name means, the search led me somewhere else. It was to Dirty Dining. I could see starring in Dirty Dining once. But three times?! According to Dirty Dining cockroaches seem to like the place. A Cockroach infestation played a large roll in the Health Department shutting it down three times [1]. If I had known that, this review might have never happened. Hopefully China AAA has gotten their act together and the roaches have brought their act out of the kitchen. However, being that a true Yelp review is from first-hand experience; I am happy to share that on my visits the dining area was clean and there were zero roaches. I didn't look into the kitchen. Abiding by clean standards the friendly cashier slash Waitress cleaned the table before I sat there and after. There were zero issues with the cleanliness of the plate or utensils. Based on my first-hand experiences, China AAA benefits from great service. Being that Yelp is karma I want to see a business that treats the customers do good. In realty it seems to be doing just that. At the same time, China AAA serves a solid lunch special that comes out to dollars cheaper than the fast food Panda Express across the street. If you're looking for a cheap satisfying authentic Chinese lunch look no further. The lunch specials start at $6.25 and have different choices from orange chicken and Mongolian beef. The lunch specials come with egg drop soup and egg roll for dine in only. Service is quick and food comes out piping hot. It's in a pretty busy plaza but if you come during the lunch hour it's not too bad and sometimes can find parking right in front. One thing that's really good and I'm not joking is their fountain water. I drink a lot of water and their water tastes so good! The prawns were terrible shrimp that tasted like they had been sitting around previously fried, and then fried again in used, nasty, burnt oil. Literally... I'm worried about getting sick by how old it tasted. The wonton soup tasted like used cooking oil mixed with water or something. I'm honestly scared to try the actual wonton. My girlfriend & I were on yelp searching for a Chinese place to try out & we came across China AAA. Since it's close to our home, we decided to try it out. I've got to say, compared to their other reviews, in our opinion, they weren't that great. First, the lady at the register was sort of rude when we asked to switch white rice with fried rice. She explained it was $2 extra, which was fine, but we did want the fried rice w/meat, she said it would be another $2. We honestly did not want to pay $4 extra just for fried rice with meat in it. Next, the wait was extra long. There was only one person in there waiting aside from us. We waited for almost 30 minutes just for one plate & a hand roll. The orange chicken was a bit dry, the fried rice wasn't too bad. The 2 stars are for the California hand roll that wasn't bad. It wasn't good either.
