It's hard to find good Chinese places on this side of town, and this place is possibly the worst I have encountered. I saw the reviews were either great or horrible so I didn't know what to think, and just prayed it would at least be average. My prayers were not received. We ordered pick up through yelp, it gave us a crazy wait time, so I called to verify time. They told me the correct wait time, and then got a message through yelp as well with updated wait time. They were ready about 10 minutes after time estimate with the food. The bag was heavy as heck so I thought, ok good portions that's great, and prices are low maybe there is hope... So we got crab rangoons, chicken fried rice, normal fried rice, orange chicken, and the Singapore noodle. Crab Rangoon was OK, only thing that was not awful. However, the dipping sauce had the weirdest after taste. It was like concentrated tap water. Also no spicy mustard sauce in the bag we got just lots of soy sauce, which makes no sense with the items we had. Fried rice was obviously loaded with msg. It had that heavy salt and almost chemical flavor. The onions were still to raw and took over. Orange chicken dry just like the other reviewer had stated, and the flavor was one note. It just looked congealed and sad. I didn't touch the noodles because I couldn't handle spice that night.. And I was mildy afraid at this point. So yes I don't care how bad I'm craving Chinese, this place won't do anything but make me bloated and disappointed. read more

The regular Chinese takeout joint. This may be it for me in this area. I dined in once and ordered takeout from Grubhub here. Dining in was great, they had plenty of seats and fast service. The Grubhub order was phenonmenal. Got two lunch specials, orange chicken and kung pao chicken. The order arrived super fast, maybe within 30 minutes and everything was fresh and hot. There is a $10 minimum though so I had to order two lunches and the kung pao chicken is still sitting in the fridge not getting love. I've been here about five times and every time everything is perfect. I'm picky and I'm vegetarian and I don't like fried food so they work with me. The portions are huge for the price. They do a lot of takeout and a lot of to go orders. Sometimes there's quite a few people waiting to pick up food but they are still extremely fast. Just tried China AAA for the 1st time. I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is small with a few tables. When I went there were a handful of regulars in for a bite to eat. Everyone seemed quiet pleased with their food. We ordered pot stickers to start. Very good, and not swimming in oil. Very fresh and full of flavor. We usually get fried won tons but unfortunately those are not an option here. I had wor wonton soup. Delicious delicate clear broth, packed with ample shrimp,chicken,pork,homemade wontons,crab,and fresh veggies. The large was plenty for 2 people. Next item was fried rice with beef. Not to much to say about this it was rice. Shrimp with lobster sauce. One of the better ones I've had in Vegas. I reccomend it if your a lover of this item like myself. Shrimp chow fun. I really wanted to like this. The prices and portions were good, the service was very friendly but sadly it was a "choose two out of three" situation. Price, Quantity or Quality; you can pick any two. I bit into a shrimp and it was revolting. It was weird and mushy and tasted wrong. I'm still pretty grossed out by it. the rest of the flavors were not very on point anyway so that was just the final blow for me. It's been a while since I've visited this place and by "a while" I mean a year or two. They definitely added some things to their menu that attracted me to come today but oh how disappointing it was. I might have had high expectations for this place because their chicken wings appetizer and combination fried rice was to die for ... or it used to be anyway. Ordered two bento boxes, one with beef broccoli and one with general tso. Both delicious but nothing past ordinary. I asked the server how much one order of rice can feed and she said one person so I ordered two and OMG! By my judgement it could have fed four people. Their rainbow roll sushi was generous in fish but it was tasteless and a bit dry. We were the only ones there and had to flag the server more than once. The tables were sticky and one of the guys that worked there picked his nose and didn't wash his hands prior to touching things on the counter. I used the FOOD photo setting on my Galaxy to take pictures of each of the dishes but WARNING, do NOT let the photos fool you. The taste definitely does NOT justify the awesome look of the photos. I even nicely staged each dish as I can hear my stomach growling...made it look soo delish. Eh...Just imagine deciding not to get Panda Express and ordering this instead and then kicking yourself in the ---. For some odd reason, I was under the impression that this Chinese establishment would offer authentic Chinese food but boy was I wrong. Mongolian beef was so bland and I can't even describe how the pieces of meat was even meat. It had a weird kind of texture and such a bland taste to it. Even me drenching it with soy sauce didn't help as it was a lost cause. Now don't even get me started with the pan fried noodles that looked like all the leftovers that can be conjured up and dumped on top. Unfortunately, the bamboo shoots just killed it. I'm not to sure if they even mention bamboo shoots but I wasn't going to make the effort to check Two stars for my son liking the Teriyaki Chicken though! Will I go here again? Maybe...if Panda Express ever moves away...maybe. Sorry Panda Express for cheating on you...I've learned my lesson. The best dish was the egg drop soup though I definitely had better in many places. Just to clarify this was a 4.5 Star Visit. Looking to have some food delivered to the house while out driving around, decided we were close enough to stop by. I am allergic to sesame oil/seeds. They use vegetable oil and only have sesame seeds on the sushi which is why they get 4.5 stars because my spicy tuna roll came out with sesame seeds which the promptly remade with absolutely no discussion. The honey walnut shrimp had no flavor and was just lightly deep fried shrimp with a sauce on them you couldn't taste. Me and my friend went there and when we walked in we immediately saw a roach. We got spam musubi and when we left the store we tipped $2. When we bit into the musubi there was a hair in it so we went back to give it back but they didn't refund or give us a new one. I do not recommend this place at all. It's been a while since I posted. I have moved to a new area. We are now in the Silverado area now, near South Point. We're just venturing out into the neighborhood, trying new restaurants and we discovered a place called China AAA. As I've said in the past, I'm a vegetarian. Their mixed vegetables are possibly one of the best fresh vegetables mixes I've had in a long time. The sauce was delicious with lots of garlic and with all my favorite veggies.I believe it was vegan. But they will make it whatever style you would like. The portion sizes are great. As we are currently sick and on lockdown with covid, we tried a to-go order. They deliver for a nominal amount. And they came right to my door which made my day. :) So if China AAA keeps doing what they're doing, I will keep going back! I would highly recommend that you try this place if you're close by. Best authentic Chinese food in Vegas. I normally order the wonton soup with chicken dumplings and shrimp with an order of chicken and shrimp egg rolls. Authentic egg roll with cabbage and crispy on the outside! Most Chinese restaurants in Vegas give a spring roll and consider it a egg roll so I was very impressed with China AAA egg roll.
