Ordered the ube swirl, pineapple dole whip, mung bean taiyaki, and a custard one togo. The taiyaki that goes onto the ice cream is a lot bigger than one we ordered to go. I thought it would be as big, but when I got it, it was so much smaller and flat. Also, the taiyaki that goes on top of the ice cream was old. It had been sitting there for a while or was made earlier as it was hard and difficult to bite. The red bean inside I also assumed was a paste like how they make the Japanese version, however there were whole pieces in there. It was okay, but I thought they'd be like paste. Overall, the only thing that was good was the ube swirl and the pineapple dole whip. It was also extremely warm in the shop, like no AC in the triple digits summer heat. Had to eat it elsewhere. I most likely won't be back.

Toppings... the toppings were extremely expensive for such a small portion. It was around like $1.49 per topping??? Which is honestly pretty crazy. The toppings are set on the side in those small plastic ketchup containers. 4 Oreo cookies for $1.49, 2-3 buttercups smashed into pieces for $1.49, 1.5 strawberry sliced for $1.49, 1/8 of a banana sliced for $1.49... a container of chocolate syrup $1.49 you can imagine the rest that we added. Those portion sizes and prices are messed up lol The total was $35+ for 2 smalls with additional toppings. Overall, I don't think we will be coming back here for the shaved ice. There's definitely better options out there. China boy is there any possible way I can give you more than 5 stars? Because if I could i would in a heart beat thats how good you are. I ordered soup today and I was very annoyed because I just got broth and then I realized the geniuses at this amazing restaurant separate the broth, noodles and vegetables so as a result when you combine all three ingredients you get a soup that is full of wontons and vegetables and noodles.. its DELICIOUS! I wish more places did that. The boba is delicious. I am sad because I don't live in the area any longer so I can't eat here as often but I always make sure to stop by when I am in the area. Tomorrow I am ordering one of their beautiful cakes and taking it to a family gathering where I have no doubt everyone will be amazed at how lovely and delicious it is. dear china boy.. whatever you are doing please don't change.. your prices, food qualify and service are impeccable. After checking my bank statement, I discovered that the restaurant added a tip to my bill of 10$ without my knowledge or consent. A gratuity should never be added unless it is clearly disclosed or authorized by the customer. I understand 10$ is not a lot however I wouldn't mind giving those 10$ if I would've dined in. This is completely unacceptable and has caused me to lose trust in this business. I did reach out to the manager who was very kind and polite however It took days until I heard back for a resolution.
