China City is exactly what you expect from a Chinese restaurant. The inside is small and unassuming, and the staff are very to-the-point. It has the same menu options and the same large portions. The food was good-better than most Chinese restaurants I've tried in the area. The value of the price for the quality and quantity of food was great.

This Chinese takeout restaurant is located a few doors down from Publix. I would say the food is okay. It is not great but it is not terrible either. I ordered pepper steak with fried rice and an egg roll. There was a lot of steak and a lot of onion. There was not so much green pepper but that was not a problem for me. The fried rice was a little lackluster but I added soy sauce to it and that really perked it up. The egg roll was dry and not oily. I thought the egg roll was the best part of the meal. Pricing is the same as your average Chinese takeout restaurant. I might stop in here again if I am in Publix and craving Chinese food. I would not make a special stop here even though it is close to where I live. The person who took my order seemed a little confused. Yet I did receive the correct order.

"Bad Eggs" Egg Drop Soup

Have people never had Chinese food before? No Joke, this is literally the worst I have ever had. From using spoiled eggs in the egg drop soup (photo attached) to hard pieces in the fried rice to getting my online order all wrong, THIS PLACE IS ALL WRONG! I could have overlooked the fact that my quart of Lo Mein came as a combo instead, or that I asked for no vegetables and there were more onions than noodles but the quality of the food they purchase is as low as it can get.

This place has been good in the past but tonight, nope. Ordered the family pack A with 3 pints of honey chicken where 2 of 3 pints were fried breading; NO chicken inside of them. Not to mention it took an 1 hr 20 mins to get here and the food was not hot to my satisfactory. I was told 45 mins. I called them and told them my experience. Pic: left side has chicken, right side fried breading

The food was delicious! I ordered a quart of shrimp fried rice and coconut shrimp and the rice had shrimp throughout until the end.

They offer a wide variety of pots, and I've tried them all, but they all have their own unique appeal. They're also very accommodating, allowing me to swap out ingredients and make adjustments to my meals. The rice on the side is a great addition, and I've tried a variety of dishes, including Takoyaki balls, vegetable rolls, fries, and calamari. Each one was delicious and satisfying. The servers are friendly and welcoming, but not intrusive. I also love their milk tea and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. The space is spacious and inviting, and the bathroom is particularly cute and well-designed. Since I live in Miami, I definitely make it a point to visit this place at least once a month.

Anyway, the food was okay and the customer service was okay too. The rice tasted old. The water tasted funny, maybe because of being served in a metal glass. The broth tasted little weird too. Overall, I don't like to wonder if something I am eating is safe to eat or not. Some of the seafood in my lobster shrimp soup tasted old. Maybe I will give this place another chance in the future or maybe not. This restaurant is located in a plaza that offers plenty of free parking.

I came across this place while working out of our Ft. Lauderdale Office and looking for a nice lunch spot. Their tagline is "Authentic Bites" and one you taste the food, you'll see there's truth in advertising. The menu is not extensive but there are really great items throughout. The Appetizers are stellar. The Taiwanese Crispy Pork Chop, hits you upfront with bold Five Spice and perfectly cooked pork. Spare Ribs are tender, flavorful and delicious. The Scallion Pancake and Spicy Cucumber Salad are not to be missed. They're all suitable for sharing but by far my favorite Drunken Chicken is no longer on the menu. It was absolutely fantastic and was always my go to. The classic dumplings are very nice but the Soup Dumplings are small but packed with pork, crab, or chicken. There are eight to an order and you may think I can't finish all this but then it's "that went by fast". I haven't had the Fried Rice but the Noodles are excellent. Dan Dan and Zha Jiang Mian are a must try. If you're looking for something more standard grab the Kung Pao, Mongolian Beef or General Tao's Chicken. Dumpling Panda will always be one of my go to spots for a nice lunch or a relaxing dinner. Here's hoping they bring back the Drunken Chicken or teach me how to make it.

The parking can be hectic as it is small and can be super busy during dinner time. Interior is clean and quaint. Not a lot of seats but it works. Team members were welcoming and friendly.
