Every time I get food from here it's drenched in oil and the steamed Veges always super salty. Plus the people there make me want to not come here, it's just in the way they greet. It's off putting. read more

I have been coming here for over 5 years. My mom and I love their shrimp and lobster sauce, and my dad loves their teriyaki chicken bowls. I also like their egg drop soup, which is a pretty big serving for a fairly low price I think. The people here are also very nice and always friendly. read more

Over the years I have tried the China Garden hoping it will be better than I remember; unfortunately I have never had a meal I have enjoyed from this restaurant. On our last visit, my grand kids who will eat just about anything and love Chinese food took a few bites and left the majority of their meal saying they did not like the taste. I had the beef broccoli and Kung pao chicken and also left the majority of my meal. The beef broccoli had a distinct fishy taste which was not pleasant and the broccoli was soggy. While the food is really good, I'm disappointed in the recent price hike in the delivery charge. Two weeks ago, the minimum for delivery was $20 (which is a lot compared to the $15 minimum I'm used to at other places) and all of a sudden it's $25. The lady seemed slightly annoyed when telling me as well. It sucks when I live right down the street and have no way to get there myself... otherwise I would just carry out. The gal who served us last night was great. Friendly with a nice smile. Ordered the soup and a combo plate and got it to go. My soup was salty but good. The mushroom chicken and chow mein were both decent. Went back today to get the same soup for lunch, and when we gave the man our card to pay, he said they don't take American Express. I said, "Yes you do. The gal who helped me last night had no problem charging my card". He went on and on about fees and such. I told him I didn't have a different card to use when he kept insisting I use Mastercard or Visa. If a company doesn't want to accept Amex or Discover, that is fine by me, BUT PLEASE HAVE THAT IN WRITING SOMEWHERE! Also, don't take my Amex card one day, and the very next day say I can't use it. No bueno. Also, the orange chicken is kind of suspect. Not sure how good the chicken is that they are using, but it seems to be cheap. Definitely not going back to this place again. Average fast food. Food is decent. Had 2 item combo. Chow mein is fine. Fried rice has no flavor at all. Brocooli beef - beef was tender and broccoli was crisp. Spicy chicken is fine - not very spicy. What I think is a shame is that you have to pay an extra 25 cents for hot sauce, any crispy noodles, etc. I think as a business it would pay off to give customers the little extras that keep them happy and returning. If you ask for it to go, they don't automatically give you a fork or chopstick - you must ask for it. And where's the fortune cookie?? read more

They have good food & fast service. Pretty good prices for the amount of food, too. They also make things you don't normally find in a Chinese food joint. This is my favorite restaurant, I eat here at least once a week. The portions are large and the food is great. I always have a three entrée with noodles and rice and two egg rolls and its under 10.00. I can never eat it all, so I save half for later ( I'm 6' and 235lbs.). Mediocre at food. Edible but not enjoyable. Have been here a few times and have always been disappointed. Sometimes the food seems old. Good Chinese takeout is difficult to find. After living in Newport where everything is some kind of Asian fusion foodie garbage, it was awesome to move to Corona and find a place that just serves huge helpings of bomb-ass Chinese food. Super disappointed. Ordered Kung pao Shrimp, so that I knew it would be fresh and made to order...it was THEE most bland king pao I've ever had. Ever. White rice (that I had to pay extra for) was soggy. Chow mein was just ok...but I seriously needed salt. Best part was the egg rolls. My family and I have been coming to this place since we first moved to Corona in 2000. China Garden has been my favorite Chinese food place to go to since then. They have the best chow mein in my opinion, their orange chicken is perfectly soft yet crispy and not overcooked, the sweet and sour chicken is also delicious. I've tried everything throughout the years here and I have never once been disappointed except in my taste buds for not being able to handle the spicier menu items. Everyone who works there has always been so nice and polite, and I have never had an even slightly unsatisfied experience here. I try to bring all my friends here at least once to prove to them that China Garden has the best chow mein, especially if you put some of the orange chicken sauce or sweet and sour sauce on it. The prices are also very fair, especially with the size of the portions. The veggie/egg rolls are great, but I highly recommend their cream cheese wantons. The best I've ever had too. read more

Hands down my favorite Chinese food. I've been going here since I was a kid - the food has been consistently delicious, cheap, and the ladies who work there are so sweet. Get the garlic chicken or orange chicken. Like the reviews say, the chow mein is the best. Excellent egg rolls. Can these employees speak English? And why do they charge for soy sauce, fortune cookies, etc? This food tastes like melted plastic. They'll give my boyfriend a heaping plate of fried rice when he clearly states he only wants the beef and broccoli. The Thai Tea they sell from their fridge is really good, at least. Probably because they aren't the ones who make it. The drive to Panda Express is more worth it. read more
