I've eaten at a lot of Chinese places around Garland over the years, and this might be the best Chinese food I've had in the area. I got the Orange Chicken and it was amazing. One thing that really stood out was that the orange sauce actually tasted fresh and homemade instead of tasting like it came out of a bottle. It even had real orange peels in it, which gave it a ton of flavor and made it feel way more authentic than most orange chicken I've had. The portions were huge too. I ordered takeout and still had enough food left over for another meal. The menu is massive, and I had no idea what to get at first. Chris (server) took the time to help me look through the menu, explain some of the dishes, and make recommendations. He didn't make me feel rushed at all, which I really appreciated especially for the takeout focused style they have going on. The owner, was also super friendly and welcoming when I came in. It was also cool hearing about some of the improvements they have planned for the restaurant. You can tell they care about the place and want to keep making it better. Great food, great people, and great portions. Definitely won't be my last visit! Edit: Literally downloaded Yelp to review because after looking at some on Apple Maps and Google, this place doesn't deserve the outdated reviews from previous ownerships.

Very good food with plenty of traditional dishes, including one of the few places around still making authentic Shrimp Chow Mein. The General Tso's was excellent, and the portions were generous. Since they specialize in takeout, everything was packed carefully and organized perfectly in the to-go bag. If you're craving Chinese food with big portions and solid flavor, give Uncle Wings a try.

After two years of being loyal customers, my wife and mother were deeply disappointed by Joyce's behavior. All they wanted was unburnt food, and they were not there to cause any trouble. They simply wanted to eat. They tried to speak with Joyce, but she was completely rude. My wife and mother remained calm throughout the entire incident.
