I got take out tonight and order at 9:06pm. Like every other place in our small city, they close around 9:30. They totally took my carry out order no problem and I picked it up 10 minutes later. It was very hot and fresh and the rice was great! The orange chicken was good but the portions are pretty big. For instance- my husband and I can split an order with a bowl of rice. But very delicious. Very nice people and we will totally make this our Chinese place :) Ps dining in and carry out has coupons for free lumpia with an order over $30. Called tonight to place a delivery order, in spite of the online menu saying I could do substitutions if I paid the difference, I was told I couldn't. Fine. Not thrilled because I don't like pork, but okay. Then, I get a call back stating that my order was ready for pickup. I tell the girl, same girl as before, that it was a delivery order. She says someone called back and changed it to pickup. I say that we didn't call back. She says that a male called back. I state that no one called. She continues to argue with me. Finally, my boyfriend grabs the phone and says that he didn't call. At that point she accepts it and they hang up. Here's my issue: She was rude. Beyond rude. Her attitude was awful through both phone calls. When I hung up the first time, I remarked on her attitude but brushed it off. The second time she blatantly argued with me. I get that the customer isn't always right, but come on. Then, it took 15 minutes to get our food which was apparantly already ready. I live 5 minutes from the restaurant. read more

Honestly I'd leave no stars. Placed an order over the phone, asked for confirmation and I got off the phone with the impression that my full order was placed. Once the man came to deliver our food, he rang the doorbell in a rushing matter even if it took us less than one minute to answer the door. The man then proceeded to tell my husband he was in a hurry and rushed him to sign the receipt. We noticed that one item from our order was missing but the man had already left. I called and told the girl who answered the phone that we were missing an item and she asked me what I wanted them to do about it and told me to talk to her manager. Manager said the item was never written down on my order, with no apology for the inconvenience. Won't be ordering from here again since since the service sucks and the food is barely average anyway. read more

We've ordered from here at least half a dozen times. Food is always yummy and ready when they say it will be. Janine is very kind when you come in to pick up your order. The only thing is I wish rice came with the entrees, but when you do buy the pork fried rice it's tasty and enough for a family of 4 to share. read more

Love this place! Been coming here for decades and I love that the owners know me and remember life details no matter how long it's been...that's great customer service! Service was friendly but inattentive and slow. The waitress seated us but told us to grab our own menus? Asked for waters multiple times before we got it, and food was meh. The crab Rangoon had green onions in it which were overpowering, the almond chicken was dry and the pork fried rice came with way too much soy sauce on it. We (and the table next to us) waited an uncomfortably long time for the check that never came. Our waitress disappeared. There were only 3 occupied tables and she just split.... The hostess was sitting there staring in to space being equally unhelpful while all of the patrons were ignored. Tables were just left dirty after people left. We had to go get our own bill to pay it, and after we did, we realized we think there must have been a mistake. 2 combos and 3 beers came to $69. Seriously? Either they gave us the wrong check or their beers are really overpriced. We wouldn't know because there are no drinks even on their menu, let alone prices. We only went here because we tried the other (much cleaner) Chinese restaurant in town but we got there around 2 pm and they were oddly enough closed from 2-3 for "cleaning". Simple order for delivery, 2 orders of pho and a side of potstickers. The food arrived quickly and was well packaged. I appreciate the fact that the kept the noodles and the broth separate, upon delivery. The pho was delicious and we will definitely be ordering again! read more

Asked for a clean glass, but got an excuse about the dish washer - I just wanted a clean glass without lipstick. Never got water. Never got the chopsticks we asked for. WE moved to Oak Harbor 6 years ago and drove past China Harbor Restaurant many times, but one afternoon we were hungry and in the area when I said; let's check out China Harbor Restaurant and find out if it was any good. Parked the truck and walked inside and was met by a nice hostess, who led us back to a booth next to a window. OK, I thought...things are going good so far. Hot tea and our drinks came soon after and the waitress came back for our order. My wife ordered a chicken dish and a side of egg rolls and I ordered a big bowl of PHO and egg rolls..My wife started in eating while I prepared my soup with, basil leaves, bean sprouts, fresh lime juice & don't forget... the hot sauce. Absolutely some on the best PHO (Vietnamese) soup broth I have tasted. I give it a strong # 8 for anyone who KNOWS how the broth should taste. My wife loved her chicken dish and the spring rolls are very tasty and light. NOW, I can't wait to eat there again. Another good thing about China Harbor Restaurant is that this establishment is only 10 minutes from where I live. Where have I been when great PHO soup was so close to me. Great service Overall! I pulled up ordered my food and was in and out in 10 minutes only to discover my battery died in my car as I was trying to leave. Just as I started to lift my hood the owner pulled up and offered to give me a jump, after that was unsuccessful he stood there and called around to see who could deliver the battery to the restaurant and no one would deliver so he drove me to walmart and waited for me, brought me back to the restaurant and I was able to swap the battery and go on my way... He adamantly refused any money that I was trying to offer him. I love this great act of kindness and he has a lifetime customer for sure! read more

I don't know how I haven't posted a review on this place yet...I used to only get chicken egg fu young while the Husband only got beef and broccoli....well Husband tried my egg fu young one time and now that's what he gets, so I try to get something new. Their hot garlic chicken is amazing and depending on who's cooking you can get a 3 where it's not too spicy but enough of a kick and sometimes it's like a 1...not a problem for me though, less spicy it is I give to the kids. Today I got the combo general tso chicken with Crab Rangoon egg fu young for the hubby with side order of coconut prawns and Korean BBQ chicken for the kids (so good!) This place never disappoints me! It is a little pricey and I hate that you buy rice as an add on if you don't get a combo but I'm a sucker for good Chinese and this is my place for the next however long we're here! read more

Placed an order for delivery and was told delivery would take 45 minutes to an hour. It took two hours and 20 minutes to get our food. The food was cold. Shrimp was way over cooked and dark brown, almond chicken was all breading and dried out, chow mein contained uncooked meat, and we found a large piece of black plastic in the fried rice. We called the restaurant after receiving this mess and basically they blew us off. Needless to say I won't be giving them my business any time soon. read more

Ordered pork fried rice and a cup of egg flower soup for my brother, #7 combo for me (sweet and sour chicken, chicken chow mien, pork fried rice and wonton soup as sides). The girl on the phone asks me if I prefer the crunchy chow mien. She tells me that there are more vegetables and the chicken is on a vegetable stir-fry. I say ok, as I want to eat healthier, more vegetables sounds good. It'll be ready in 15-20. at 20 minutes, I get a call, they ran out of egg flower soup. They can't make more because the cook is too busy to fill the order. Ok, cancel the soup. We arrive in about 25, just to be sure. The first lady runs back to get our food, then another girl shows up and we say we've been helped, then a third girl (who was present when lady 1 greeted us) asks if we've been helped. At this point it's been another 10 minutes--Side note: There were more employees than customers, how could they not make more soup?--Then lady #1 returns. It's going to be "One more minute" but she can charge me now. Food arrives (after about 3 minutes, just saying) and we take it home. Pork fried rice was ok, not amazing compared to other places, but it'll do. #7 combo, the Wonton soup is WAY too salty, I open the box and see that the sweet and sour chicken is just fried chicken pieces and the sauce is separate, I guess that makes it easy for them. The chicken wasn't good and there were about 3 chicken nugget sized pieces. Half of the box was filled with the crunchy chow mien. I don't even know how to describe this: A gelatinous goo filled with what I can only assume are vegetables, some slimy chicken on top, covered in crunchy noodles. I couldn't even do it. I threw it away as it was so far from what I see as food. Luckily a side of pork fried rice came with my food so I had something to eat. I'll be coming back, but only when someone else insists on eating Chinese food, and I won't be ordering any special versions of food. The people were, in fact, very nice. Unfortunately very disappointed with this place for several reasons. I have never written a bad review, but this warrants one. To begin, any Chinese place includes white rice with entrees. This one does not. You will have to buy an extra rice or chow mein entree to get either with your meal because they do not even offer sides. The entrees themselves tasted good, but didn't seem worth the price. In addition, delivery took over an hour. Lastly, DO NOT order the crab rangoon. There is not a single bit of crab, fake crab, scallion, garlic, or anything other than cream cheese. Pretty expensive for what you get. I'm picky and have been ordering the same three food items since I've been eating here, which is: almond chicken, pork fried rice, and chow mein. They are verygood. I love the rice simply because they don't put more vegetables than meat in it. My toddler is very picky and this is the only rice he will eat.
