The food was nasty I order orange chicken and beef with garlic ginger sauce. The veggies where not cut to be able to eat unless you picked them out and cut them yourself. The steak had no flavor and under cooked and way to chewy. The rice was nasty I eat there once before about 5 years ago didn't care for it and wanted to give it a second chance and now I know why. And when I called up there I hear we been in business for 20 years don't mean your food is good. Should of went down the street to the other place

We ordered some appetizers and an entree with drinks. I had a basil Paloma I did not like and I love Paloma's but this one had some kind of funky taste to it. It was not the basil. Idk. The sugar cookie martini was good but very sweet. The Marguerite flatbread was ok the topping were good but the bread was very doughy like it didn't finish cooking. The truffle fries were amazing. They were crispy and flavorful. The shrimp and risotto were very good. The risotto was gooey, cooked just right and had a lot of flavor. I do recommend the shrimp and risotto. And the truffle fries.

The building itself is very quaint and the decor beautiful, but the food....NO WAY! I didn't think it would be so challenging to get cocktails and pasta right. To start, we waited forever for our drinks. My pomegranate martini tasted like kombucha, and my fiancé's old fashioned had fashionless...no bitters , no flavor. Let's just say...it was a rough start. We started with the calamari, which tasted like it had freezer burn. I ordered a chicken dish with prosciutto and pasta. The entire entrée was just odd. It was severed cold and the chicken was tough. My fiancé had the linguine with seafood and the entire dish was floating in an unidentifiable liquid .....it was so runny! Needless to say, we didn't want to take our left overs home! This was a very disappointing experience. One and done for us!

We came on a Wednesday evening and I was so shocked to find the parking lot so full! And walking in, I was just as shocked to see how big this place was on the inside. Plenty of seating for sure! Of course we had reservations so that was nice and probably highly recommended. We enjoyed the bread and butter provided to the table as we mingled. They even had gluten free bread ($5 extra). We all ordered a variety of foods. I ordered the waygu meatloaf with mashed potatoes & string beans and it was really enjoyable. It was like eating an elevated home-cooked meal. Everybody was genuinely satisfied. And they provide separate checks so that was also a nice addition to our evening.

They were fairly busy, but we had a reservation and were seated quickly in the Lodge portion of the restaurant. Despite the busyness, the server was attentive throughout our time there. The starting complementary bread was warm and crusty, and it was a good sign of things to come. To start, I ordered a Peach Bourbon and my husband got the Cranberry Incipient to drink. The cocktail was excellent and the flavors were well balanced. My husband said the beer was nice but surprisingly sweet. Later, I ordered the Party Starter NA cocktail which was tart but nicely spiced. For food, we split the coconut shrimp appetizer which came with a sweet Orange Malibu glaze. The sweetness of the glaze paired well with the subtle coconut flavor of the shrimp and they were fried well. I ordered the Baseball steak medium rare with fried Brussels sprouts and Parmesan whipped potatoes as sides. The sides were great, and while the steak was very flavorful, it was a little tough and on the rarer side for my taste. My husband ordered the beef Wellington with cauliflower, carrots, and green beans. The beef was perfectly cooked and the mushroom duxelle was very tasty, but unfortunately the pastry was underbaked (although I know that is notoriously difficult to get just right). The sides were lackluster, lacking any seasoning and likely just steamed with butter. The portion sizes were good; we ate nearly all of it minus a few bites of the sides and were comfortably full. But of course, we couldn't stop there. We ordered the molten lava cake and were convinced by the waiter (without too much effort) to add vanilla ice cream. It was wonderful, but incredibly rich and decadent. Overall, it was a great experience and this is a place we would eat at again.

We tried the Super Chimi with an option of chicken in one, and beef in the other, excellent! The Fajitas are served on a sizzling skillet with warm soft tortillas which are great! Most of their food comes with rice and beans on the side, and their margaritas are tasty! The authentic Mexican decor throughout just adds to the atmosphere. They are a great place to visit with a date, family or even a decent sized group. It's not very loud, so you can have plenty of time to talk, and the pricing is surprisingly not very expensive. Cancun Mexican Grill is located in the Gateway Commons strip mall next to a bank. The menu is a small spiral binder because there are so many menu options. I ordered the Birria Tacos because it was only beef tacos in the Taco section of the menu. The birria tacos are made with slow cooked beef. It was a little chewy and my corn tortillas were falling apart. I had to resort to eating them with a fork. I later ordered tacos for a friend to-go and I was shown the ala carte section at the back of the binder with ground beef tacos for purchase for one or three tacos. I believe those were better than mine with hard shells. The service was fine. They were very quick in bringing our food. We started out with chips and salsa. I would have liked individual saucers for the three of us so we weren't continuing to dip our chips in the same bowl of salsa. The restaurant is a nice size. They have plenty of seating options - booth, table & chairs and a bar area. Tip: Look for coupons in the local paper for $7 or $10 off.
