We can't even order. The online ordering says it's unavailable for ordering and the phone number takes forever to connect then says it's busy and to leave a message. I even tried to get a hold of them on IG to see how to do an order. If I ever get to place an order, maybe I'll update this review. I saw a lot of reviews about wait time. The wait was long but it's expected with a restaurant that is super popular. Everyone was really nice. The soy sauce and chili oil was provided upon request. The regular water did have lil to no ice but with our drinks, the passion fruit juice and my sparkling water we got a nice portion of ice. Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor! Definitely worth the price. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again is the duck but it's because I'm partial to Peking Duck. 8:30pm is a good time, minimal amount of people. Our first visit we ordered Kung pow chicken, mild no peanuts, crispy beef and House fried rice. They were all un impressive. I've never had Kung pow chicken that only has chicken sauce and canned chestnuts in it the fried rice they don't put any Chinese sausage in it or barbecue pork in it it's very plain and the crispy beef is a four in my opinion. I have to say that was very good. The fried rice was fresh and excellent egg rolls were delicious. I really enjoyed the fresh chow mein. The crispy beef was so so for me although it's a favorite for most. The service was good. The one thing that they did not have is hot mustard, which I think every Chinese food place has hot mustard and the air-conditioning was not working so it was extremely hot inside. I've been fortunate enough to have travelled a great deal and experience world class Chinese dining but I grew up in the Midwest and fell in love with Americanized Chinese foo. The food is fantastic. It ranges from tasty Chinese you don't know but will love to Chinese food you rarely experience. We've eaten at their other locations many times and have never had a dish we didn't enjoy. Our server, Sandy, was friendly and attentive. Be prepared for a wait time but things might calm down over the next few months. I would expect a rush for the initial opening though it may remain busy as it's the best Chinese offering in the Henderson area. The ambiance is nice. It's informal but modern edging close to little cramped when it's at full capacity. I would have preferred a bit more of an upscale Chinese theme like the location at palace station where my family first experienced China mama but that's my feelings on the matter. My one complaint was the ambient temperature. It was a little too warm for waiting for a table. It's Las Vegas, it should be cool enough inside that when you walk outside you welcome the warmth a little before you get in you car and cook. read more

The food is good at the original location but no food is worth the insane wait. Called at 11:19 am to order food to go. One order of chicken and one order of rice. They quoted me 20 minutes. After 30 minutes we went in to see if it was ready and they said 5 more minutes. Then after waiting for 45 minutes they acted like they had to go looking for our order. So we left. Disappointed. We have been twice now to this location for dinner, once during the soft open and again tonight. We were excited to try the Mapo tofu, as we are big fans of this Szechuan dish. It is so authentic here. But also loved the cucumber salad and fried eggplant. Both times the service has been a real highlight, with friendly and attentive staff. We brought our 7mo old both times and the staff also made her feel welcome. This china mama location is really small, with the wait time being really long and the lobby for people to wait is really small. This was probably not a great location for another china mama. While everyone was waiting, half the tables were unoccupied and i wasn't sure why they chose to keep people waiting instead of seating them at all the open tables. This was my 1st time eating china mama as I always wanted to try it and they opened up a location not far from the house. To me it's not the original style authentic Chinese food, it's to Gourmet style for me. There were things on the menu I wanted to try but they didn't have it available not sure the reason behind that. My family and I were not to thrilled with the hype. read more

The food is okayed, but the place is hot and humid when we were there on Monday 6/15/2026. Even though the ceiling is high, it still very uncomfortable to eat there. I complaint to the server and he said the heat from the kitchen is blowing out to the dining area. He apologized and said there's nothing he can do about it. We tried to eat fast to get out of there and pack the left overs to go. I hope they can do something about their AC. Too bad, I really like their salted egg prawns. It's very good and hot when served, but it makes my body temperature to sweat more bc of the humid inside the restaurant. I believe the temperature in the dining at that time was 83°F read more

Went just now and it was by far the absolute WORST Chinese food in Vegas! Bland, flavorless, insanely overpriced- the chow fun was overcooked and had more bean sprouts than noodles, the take out container had more flavor than the crispy beef and the pork rolls were just terrible! Lamb chops were good but a 30$ appetizer is not where it's at. Seriously no joke- Panda Express is sooo much better and I do NOT like Panda Express! Also there is no lobby area and you WILL be waiting so be prepared to stand in the Vegas sun for a while. read more

FINALLY, a good Chinese spot in Henderson. One thing Henderson lacks is good dining establishments especially Chinese food. Dare I say PF Changs is the best we have and that's freezer meals. We're thrilled that China Mama has opened and we don't have to drive to the other locations. Hardest thing about visiting is choosing what to order because everything is so good!! The best fried rice, won tons, walnut shrimp and crispy beef are a favorite. All amazing. Service was amazing as well. I wish i could've remember our servers name. I was genuinely excited to see China Mama open a new location in Henderson, so I stopped by around 5:45 PM to check it out. As expected for a fresh opening, the restaurant was already buzzing. Every table was full, and several guests were waiting to be seated. all signs of a place the neighborhood has been eager to welcome. Since I was only looking to place a to go order, I didn't check in for a table. I was told by an employee the wait for takeout would be about an hour, which wasn't an issue. What was disappointing, this employee was on break occupying a four top table to eat while paying customers continued to wait for seating. With the dining room already at capacity, seeing a full table used for staff meals instead of guests created an avoidable bottleneck and left a poor impression. read more

Three stars only because after two visits we could not get into the new location, friday the 26th about 5.10 came in. and have to sign into the waitlist app. did that and were 7th in line got 15 to 25 minutes, crowded in lobby and young man kept telling people to stand outside so we stood just outside the door, few people came out, checked waitlist, still 7th, went back in about 540, showed we were 6th in line, all the people who were in lobby were now seated and still showed 6 in line then my phone dinged and said we were clicked to another 40 minutes, asked the young man up front, he said very busy and having problem with ap and started seating folks who came after us, talked to another couple with same problem, so Sunday 28th, we decided to try again, got there at 7 pm 30 minute wait on waitlist, same deal gets close to 7.30 add 40 minutes with empty tables in site, drove to the Rustic House and has a banging dinner read more
