On some online forums everyone was saying that China Palace was sold to new owners and it went down the drain. I didn't believe it. I figured that they would have the same recipes IF they did sell. Nope. I ordered Broccoli Beef $15.95, Shrimp chow mein $16.95, chicken fried rice $14.95 and roti canai $9.95. They do not have the same recipes, nor do they answer the phone. I ordered online and the menu has changed. You can no longer get shrimp fried rice or combo rice or chow mein. When my daughter went to pick up the order she said they were very unorganized and didn't know what was what. The beef and broccoli went into the trash, it was like they used steak-ums and overcooked broccoli, terrible. The shrimp on the chow mein tasted like they just boiled it and put it on the noodles. No flavor. The rice was, eh. Sad that this place has become what it has. I don't doubt if it closes down in a few months.

So happy China Palace serves gluten free Chinese food. I grew up eating from this place and when I developed gluten allergy I struggled to find good Chinese food. Thanks Lilly and Wing for always putting in the extra work and love to ensure an inclusive culture at China Palace.

I'm pleasantly surprised! We unexpectedly found this hidden gem that serves authentic Chinese food. The essential flavor of wok-hay really carries thru their menu: the delicious pineapple fry rice, salt & pepper fish, and black pepper beef rib. Everything is freshly fried from the fryer! The honey walnut prawns, sweet and sour pork are crispy and moist on the inside. You could really tell each dish is made fresh to order! The quality of ingredients really shines thru. The shrimps they serve are GIGANTIC, almost to the size of a small lobster. This place is not just good for takeout, but it has a great ambiance to dine in as well! The soothing classical music, the comfy leather seats, an open bar table for big parties. This place has its own parking lot, which is a BIG plus for me! Moreover, I love that the servers are attentive and quick! I will definitely come back soon!

Came here for dinner and found the food and service was so good. It's beyond my expectation. The food was all freshly made with great taste. It's definitely a hidden gem in Morgan Hill.

Tasty authentic Chinese food! In fact I didn't think I could find a good Chinese restaurant in Morgan Hill and this totally exceeded my expectations. Very fresh ingredients. Rib was juicy. Good vibe for a dinner with family and friends.

Service is horrible for large parties but the food is great! I don't mind being there a long time with all my friends

Definitely could have been better. We walked in, and it smelled delicious. If you look at my…read morereviews, I know a thing or two about Chinese food, especially the fast-food kind. When you walk in, there's nowhere to sit -- only to-go orders and outside seating if the weather permits. My husband ordered the chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, and orange chicken. The only thing he liked was the sweet and sour chicken. Everything else was bland, no flavor or seasoning. I ordered their Chicken Sizzling Rice Soup. It took them a minute to prep that one, but no problem, I understood. When I got it, it looked more like a mushroom soup than anything else. The broth was flavorful enough, but I had to take out 75% of the mushrooms. It comes with chicken, zucchini, and mushrooms, with the rice on the side. We decided to eat outside since our drive home would be too long. We were in town for a funeral, but we will not make our way back here again if we're ever in the area.

After theee visits, here are my thoughts: Cons: - Chow mein, chow fun, & fried rice are lacking in flavor - Customer service can be improved on Pros: - The entrees are much better than the sides. We liked the the salt & pepper fish, schezwan chicken, and Mongolian beef - fast & affordable Overall, the food is pretty average, but out of convenience, I could see myself coming back and trying more menu items.

Today was a chilly day and hot Asian soup sounded sooooo good! I did a Yelp search to see what…read morerestaurants were in my area and The Kitchen of Grace stood out to me. I called my order in and headed on down to pick my order up. I was pleasantly greeted by Alex (not sure I spelled her name right) who told me about their cozy restaurant. I was immediately impressed by its comfortable family atmosphere without loud music interfering with conversation and the cleanliness it held. There were plenty of tables and definitely tables for 6 or more people. I decided to try their vegetarian style Hot and Sour Soup that has tofu and no pork, and their Wor Wonton soup. The hot and sour soup has a nice thick broth and holds many of the additions so you get something in every spoonful. I noticed that there were bits of herbs in some of my bites which was a pleasant change from standard hot and sour. The soup held bite sized pieces of tofu which made it easy to eat. I've tried Hot and Sour Soup many different different restaurants. This was a good version and definitely had a different flavor spin than some of the ones I tried. I would rate this dish 4 stars. It felt like it needed a tiny tweak but I wasn't exactly sure what that was. Possibly a little more tang. It still was absolutely delicious and I would recommend trying it. The second dish was Wor Wonton Soup. I noticed the wontons were much smaller than some of the other restaurants I have ordered at. The additions were also chopped and sliced in smaller pieces, which to be honest, makes it much easier to eat. One wonton fits nicely on a spoon without a ton of slurping and such. Soup can get messy when things are too big to fit in the mouth. That said it had a nice flavorful broth and held shrimp, chicken and some pieces of sliced pork with veggies like broccoli and cabbage. It was satisfying for a cold day comfort food fix. All in all the food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their choices and I will be back. Great comfortable place, nice owners, delicious food and if you are just getting off of work and need to sit and eat before going home, you can do that comfortably here. Or, get take out. It's also very comfortable to bring a larger party. Thanks Alex for a great experience!
