Everytime is a yummy meal at Kitchen of Grace. They never disappoint. Yummy food with good options to omit things for my kids like no onions. We chose take out tonight chow mein, pot stickers, egg rolls, orange chicken and friend rice and it was sooo good. Love they're customer service and how attentive they are. Today was a chilly day and hot Asian soup sounded sooooo good! I did a Yelp search to see what restaurants were in my area and The Kitchen of Grace stood out to me. I called my order in and headed on down to pick my order up. I was pleasantly greeted by Alex (not sure I spelled her name right) who told me about their cozy restaurant. I was immediately impressed by its comfortable family atmosphere without loud music interfering with conversation and the cleanliness it held. There were plenty of tables and definitely tables for 6 or more people. I decided to try their vegetarian style Hot and Sour Soup that has tofu and no pork, and their Wor Wonton soup. The hot and sour soup has a nice thick broth and holds many of the additions so you get something in every spoonful. I noticed that there were bits of herbs in some of my bites which was a pleasant change from standard hot and sour. The soup held bite sized pieces of tofu which made it easy to eat. I've tried Hot and Sour Soup many different different restaurants. This was a good version and definitely had a different flavor spin than some of the ones I tried. I would rate this dish 4 stars. It felt like it needed a tiny tweak but I wasn't exactly sure what that was. Possibly a little more tang. It still was absolutely delicious and I would recommend trying it. The second dish was Wor Wonton Soup. I noticed the wontons were much smaller than some of the other restaurants I have ordered at. The additions were also chopped and sliced in smaller pieces, which to be honest, makes it much easier to eat. One wonton fits nicely on a spoon without a ton of slurping and such. Soup can get messy when things are too big to fit in the mouth. That said it had a nice flavorful broth and held shrimp, chicken and some pieces of sliced pork with veggies like broccoli and cabbage. It was satisfying for a cold day comfort food fix. All in all the food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their choices and I will be back. Great comfortable place, nice owners, delicious food and if you are just getting off of work and need to sit and eat before going home, you can do that comfortably here. Or, get take out. Tried out a new Chinese food spot! There is a good amount of inside seating, place is super-clean and immaculate. The service was fast and efficient, food came out piping hot! It is a nice clean restaurant but the overall vibe is coffee shopish fast food. The service was good with a very friendly waitress. The owner comes out to welcome you, which is a nice touch, but the food is just so so at best. The most often ordered chinese dishes, hot & sour soup & chinese chicken salad were awful. The soup had a nice base with good color but what you tasted on first bite is vinegar broth. We added soy sauce too give it some flavor. The salad was fresh lettuce with plenty of chicken but with oil poured over it. instead of the traditional dressing. Our main dish of Mongolian chicken was better but over all we were left wishing we'd skipped this restaurant. read more

From outside, you might think it's closed (windows are tinted) and not obvious the type of place it is. Lived here 4 years. Just tried this and pleasantly surprised. So happy to have found this place! Years ago we went to the previous version of this restaurant that was owned by the owner's father. This food is just as good as I remember! Beautiful restaurant and excellent food and the staff are kind and fast. Best place for this food we've found in the Bay Area to date! We did a la carte (bigger portions and almost same price as the meal option) and had the orange lemon chicken, chicken fried rice, and honey spice chicken light on the spice so no jalapeños. I got the chicken green beans and beef chow mein and it was so delicious. The chicken was tender where my 1 year old toddler can eat it. I wish it came with more compared to other places but the quality and taste justifies the portion. Can't wait to go back to try more food! read more

So excited to discover that this is the family who owned our former favorite Chinese restaurant in Morgan Hill - Peking. A new name and location but the same excellent restaurant! Tonight we enjoyed dishes that we have missed: Salt and Pepper Fish, Sweet and Sour Pork, Potstickers, and Combination Fried Rice. We also tried a few new ones: Eggplant in Garlic Sauce and Orange Lemon Chicken. Our family left extremely satisfied and feeling nostalgic about family dinners from many years ago. The restaurant is very clean, the food arrives hot from the kitchen, and the staff is as kind and helpful as always. We are so happy to rediscover this gem in Morgan Hill. read more

It was good good food, good service, good noodles and rice. We came here on a Christmas Eve looking for a good meal. We got the chow mein fried rice eggrolls. The eggrolls were pretty good. The chow mein was pretty good and the fried rice was really good. I enjoyed the fried rice the best. read more

These 5 star reviews have to be fake! We arrived at approximately 7:55 and nobody was there to eat not one customer. That was odd. so we decided to stay and give the restaurant a chance. The waitress comes over with attitude telling me we close at 8:30! Not saying hi, just showing her attitude. I said, what time is it? She says It's 8! I proceeded to ignore her attitude and then had a question about the menu. She had no patience and was short in her answers. When the food came the chicken fried rice, and chicken with vegetables was cold. I got up to asked if the food could be heated up. The same waitress was sitting down talking to another person and when she began listening to my complaints her response was the vegetables should not be hot. I said it has cooked chicken so yes it should! You can see she didn't want serve us. I already had a bad vibe about the place and i was right. While attempting to enjoy some of the food. Yes, the sweet sour chicken, the won ton soup was good, my partner liked the vegetables and chicken only. So, that's positive the restaurant deserves a little credit. However my favorite chicken fried rice was not tasty. Then around 8:20 the Assistant manager comes over to tell us, we will give you until 8:45 to finish. I didn't appreciate that don't rush your customers! We should have time to enjoy. I get it people want to go home. I was aware of the time. so, we were rushing to eat before 8:30. Food is ok. Fried rice is heavily sauced with soy to make it not only dark but super salty. This is not real fried rice its american cheap fried rice. Had the orange/lemon chicken and it was ok along with our favorite of the honey walnut shrimp. The food was good but nothing fancy or amazing its just the same as going to Panda. Then I got the bill. 2 dishes, 1 fried rice, 1 egg roll appetizer and 2 ice teas. 74$ for all of that. The amount of food was enough for 2 dinners and 1 lunch with our leftovers. Just not much food for that price. We will not be returning. Just go somewhere else with same quality and less prices. Oh and yes they are fast... seems strange I can order a fried shrimp dish and it comes out in 5 minutes. Obviously this is mostly made ahead. read more

We have been coming here since before the name change and remodeling. We are also very familiar with their family. The owners are amazing. My wife and I come here at least once a month and the service is consistent and the food is awesome. Granted I only stick to what I know but it's great to me. Now I bring my children here. I recently visited Kitchen of Grace and had a great experience overall. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly and made sure my dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. I ordered the Mongolian beef, pork fried rice, vegetable stir fry and hot and sour soup. The food was fresh, tasty and came out quickly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and clean. The decor was simple yet elegant. I appreciated that the restaurant had a good amount of space between tables which made the dining experience more comfortable. While I did enjoy my experience at I would give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt like the food could have used a little bit mor flavor but overall delicious and one of the better Chinese food spots in Morgan Hill. read more

The food was great and we had a very nice conversation with the owner, Alex, about Chinese cuisine. The service was quick, food was good, and the restaurant was nice and clean.
