We liked it. The buffet was well tended and what you would expect or better. Crab, rib on the bone and boneless. All the good things.

When you come to Chinese buffet and you see Asian, you know it gotta be good at certain level. Good sushi/Sashimi selections, happy they offer sashimi because most buffet try to force you eat sushi only with lots of Rice that we don't want. They taste better than they look. I love the fish skin side dish! Eel was yummy(it's cold shashimi). Haven't get the chance to try the rolls. Wasabi is not spicy tho, could be better. Steam buns with melted salty yolk inside was so good, what a surprise.(Get the coconut one). Fried chicken wings were juicy inside. Beef short ribs was yummy. Steam lobsters all overcooked, what a waste & disappointed. I hope they can improve the steaming time or make it ginger scallions lobster. Steam oysters with garlic was decent. Hotpot was fun to wrap up, lamb meat was good , fatty beef way too much fat. I do like the soup base selection including sour & spicy golden soup. Not much choice for seafood, except shrimps & mini scallops. It's alright tho they do off beef stripes some fish balls. Mini scallops was good, fried shrimp was good. Oh the sticky rice with pineapple was good. Crab legs with butter were decent. Ice cream selection is poor. Hershey's icecream cups are full of chemicals yuck. Back then all Chinese buffet would serve soft icecream or real ice cream, not anymore unfortunately. Overall it's good and hope they will keep up the quality. Worth the pirce $42 per person. I'll choose this over the Korean bbq & hotpot.

However, the rest of the broad and deep menu is excellent as well. The rich Sweet Corn Chicken Soup is sweet, thick (but not gummy) and quite tasty. The pan fried dumplings were outstanding. They were perfectly cooked and well stuffed with minced pork and veggies. The Honey Walnut Shrimp were amazing - plump and perfectly dressed. Finally, the Sesame Chicken was amazing. Perfectly cooked but the best thing is that the chicken was moist, rich and flavorful. So, if we're ever back in White Plains, you know where we'll be dining.

Behind it is, by reputation, one of the best dim sum restaurants ever. The decor may be basic but the menu is broad and offers too many wonderful sounding choices. Friendly, helpful servers take your drink order and there's a QR code you can use to get your food but they have physical menus and will take your order to make things easier. We opted for a more traditional meal. The chicken corn soup had a rich broth and was loaded with chicken, corn and egg. The pan fried pork dumplings were crispy and delicious. The sesame chicken had a rich, sweet, sticky sauce on perfectly cooked chicken. The honey walnut shrimp were a delight. The portions are generous and more than enough to share. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are probably the reason for the slightly higher prices.

Both of us have had many wonderful and generous sized lobster rolls elsewhere. We were both surprised and dismayed at the markedly tiny amount of lobster in our main dish portions . I reported to the waiter that the portion was very skimpy. His only response was to say that he would tell the chef. It was disappointing not to be compensated in any way. How about bringing some more lobster ? Or doing something to compensate us. Frankly, I was embarrassed that I brought my friend to Sam's. I left with a bad feeling.

Definitely one of my favorite takeout places in Mount Vernon. I usually grab some rice and a few slices of picanha, and it is enough to fill me up. If you've never been, the setup may be a little confusing. When you first walk in there's a buffet with salads, rice, beans, and an ever changing variety of other dishes. Grab a plate or container, and fill it up with what you desire before going over to the grilling station. At the grill they'll put your meat in a different plate or container because the price per pound is different. Then you just take the items up to the counter where they are weighed and you pay. Very easy, very tasty, highly recommended. It is the best Brazilian food I've had in the US, and it is super authentic and brings me right back to the comforting flavors I remember when living in Brazil.

I very much have always loved the experience of Texas de Brazil…read more I love the cheesy bread, the salad bar and tried a really yummy Brazilian soda this time around. At the salad bar, I got some cheese, prosciutto, rice, potato salad, green beans, asparagus and potatoes au gratin. The only thing I found worth getting again was the potato salad but I didn't even need it because the mashed potatoes they bring out were enough for me, they're pretty good. I didn't like how the vegetables were all cold. The potatoes au gratin were warm but weren't good in my opinion but I was here for the steak so let's get to it: Picanha top sirloin - fire honestly, my favorite. Perfectly cooked. No notes whatsoever. This heavily weighed my rating. Tri tip - Pretty good taste, could've been more rare in my opinion. Flank - Okay, a little tougher than I was expecting. Garlic steak - Tough, not garlicky enough, overdone :/ not good. Barbeque ribs - Alot of cartilage, flavor was fine, not my favorite especially when there's steak involved. Bacon-wrapped filet - it was first brought out well done so I asked if they had it more rare. The server was nice enough to put in a medium rare request for me! He came back in about 5-10 minutes and it was more medium than rare (he asked me if it was alright and I lied because I didn't want to cause more stress so that's on me lol) I will say that it was definitely more rare than that first one and was more tender than the garlic steak but it fully absorbed the bacon flavor and it was a bit too much for me to enjoy. Other notes: I avoided the chicken because I remembered that it tends to be dry and I was right based on my family's reactions. I'm not a huge fan of sausage but my brother did have three of them so they're probably good lmao. The bananas are a good palate cleanser for in between and after. Since my birthday is coming up, I got a piece of the banana's foster pie and it was good! Just could do without the nuts inside personally. I would try something else next time probably. I think overall, Texas de Brazil is a bit hit or miss but I do enjoy the experience of trying and comparing different cuts, and there are some really good ones that make it worth it especially when I've been to expensive steakhouses that definitely don't have anything as good as that amazing picanha steak.

If you want sushi or if you're not a huge sushi fan, but you wanna come with friends they have options for everyone because I have a lot of kitchen meals that you can pick from as well as raw fish sushi that obviously every sushi lover is looking for I always start off with a miso soup and some appetizer so some that you should get are the rock shrimp the calamari is really good too. Their girls is really yummy too. And then for the sushi rolls, I really like the salmon Nigiri, which is with just a slice of salmon in the rice on the bottom of of course we had to get the classic salmon avocado, and then we ended up getting the lobster salad roll as well as some others And then you can't end it without some ice cream so they have lots of flavors of ice cream that you can choose from and it was so delicious We came here on a Friday evening and I was surprised that it wasn't that busy when we got there, but I definitely got more packed as we stayed longer but the service is so good. They're so fast and attentive.
