I've only been here twice, but both the food and service are great! The food was delicious, tasty, and FILLING. Their chicken pho, in particular, could have been my only meal for the day, haha. The boba drinks also taste delicious, sweet enough for me. The workers here are so nice, and are always willing to satisfy their customers. I should definitely go here again! The best thing about their place is the milk tea, and at the price they sell it for. For me, it definitely tops out Cha for Tea, Tea Station, and Lollicup. The food was fine Chinese food and the servings are gigantic for really cheap. I prefer China Wok Express on Redondo and 7th, which has similar food and prices but better selection of items. This place has soups and noodles, so I will have to be back to see how that is! My score is kind of tentative for now.............. I stop by here once or twice a week for a small pint of takeout of whatever appeals at the moment. I can't say the food is the greatest, but I have had much, much worse from a lot of other Chinese takeout places. The dishes tends to be a little salty and oily, but they fill the hole in the stomach. When I go here I always get the fried rice, chow mein noodles, and orange chicken. If I feel like it I will also get some boba too. The main reason I enjoy this place is the amount of food one gets. You think they are going to stop shoveling (yes I mean shoveling) the food, but they somehow find a way to keep more in there. The price is reasonable. I believe the lunch special they have is $4.95 and it is a side, an entree and a drink. They have family deals too which include sides, entrees, soup, and egg rolls I think. I went there a few days ago to pick up some lunch to bring home and decided to get quarts of food instead so it could last me a few days. Tried this place the first time today, not too happy about the quality of food. Rice is good, the chicken terriyaki is a lot drier than I expected, and the BBQ pork is too well done and way too much oil. Only good thing is customer service was good, and the portions are good. read more

Tried to give this location another try....last attempt and done. Not worth the 2 min drive. Bland, old noodles, over cooked eggplant (not to mention only 1 vegetarian dish available. Everything else has been sitting under a heat lamp for so long that the food can hardly be considered anything more than microwavable level. Sorry..no more chances. Food is good,but service is terrible! Yesterday, I placed a phone order at 5:10pm for a tray of Chicken chow mein. I told them that I'd be picking it up at 5:30 because I had to be at work at 6pm. The lady said it wasn't a problem. I arrived at 5:40 and they hadn't even started making my food. When I arrived, they tell me, "oh, no problem... Just 3 minutes". I waited for 10 minutes! Good stuff here! Boba's are excellent. All the food I've tried has been fresh and tasty. The Pho is surprisingly good.They serve it with jalapenos, green onions and the bean sprouts are blanched. Lots of meat and the noodles had a good consistancy. Broth has a great flavor. I say surprisingly good because this is a fast food Chinese restaurant not a "Pho" or Vietnamese place. +1 cheap lunch/ dinner combos that come with a drink (they'll let u upgrade your fontain drink to a smoothie too)/eggroll or regular entrees as well. +1 a whole large list of boba and smoothie drinks plus you get a stamp card to get a free drink. +1 huge portions, I always have left overs to last me an entire 12 hour day +1 right next to school. Oh man i've been coming here for 6 years. It's not the best chinese food and its sometimes greasy. However for the price and the amount of portion you get, it's worth it since it's probably gonna cost you under 6 bucks to eat here. The also serve boba's drink such as taro, milk tea, thai ice tea. This is where you get the bang for your buck. Other places like cha 4 tea would charge you 5-6 bucks for a large drink but you could get it at this place for 3 bucks which taste about the same as cha. The place also serves pho. They dont make it till you order it, so it's always fresh. I get the beef pho and always leave me satisfy. For 5 bucks for a regular pho, i cant complain! read more

Good food reasonably priced and large selection made to order if your choice is not already made and available in the Panda served style warmers. Prices are much better than Panda and large portions served here. Their orange chicken is very good as was the curry. I've also had their Pho which was good. As a long time student and now employee of CSULB, I've been eating here at what we call "China Dog" or "the dog" for some time now. I laugh at the people who rate it one star because it's not a fancy restaraunt. China dog is exactly what it's supposed to be: Cheap, crappy chinese food that us fatty americans want to scarf down. That being said, it's delicious, and I will eat here until I die from it! ha! On a more serious note, try some of their fresh cooked stuff on the menu (the giant one on the wall), including the Pho (pretty good!) and my personal favorite, the Egg Fuyang(spelling?). The side of chow mein is ridiculously cheap, but for me, it can serve as a full meal. The milk teas can be better though; I watch them as they make it, and each time, I kind of cringe from how much powder and sugar goes into each of the drinks. This place deals in chinese fast food, so don't expect magical things to happen. However, this place is fantastic given how huge the servings are and how inexpensive it is. I paid 4.50 for a crazy amount of lo mein and orange chicken, both of which were amazing compared to panda express. The guy loaded on as much orange chicken as he could without it spilling out of its container, and the food was surprisingly high quality.
