Since first moving to Long Beach almost a decade ago, I have been on the hunt for a really good Chinese fast casual restaurant. But it has to be like a a wannabe Panda Express with even larger potions and greasier food. This does not exist in Long Beach! When I finally gave this place a try, I was hopeful. The food looked right, the decor without any real thought put into it looked right, the employee seemed right.... But none of it was right. The noodles and rice had no flavor. When the lady behind the counter asked me how many soy sauces I wanted, I wasn't aware I was going to need 10 just to give my sides some flavor. My proteins weren't as bad but they weren't great. The broccoli beef and kung pao chicken were fine... at least they had flavor but they just didn't hit the spot. I will not be returning but wish them luck in the new year. read more

Absolutely horrible. I went there because I saw multiple stars for them. I got the egg drop soup for 999 zero flavor. It was more like a vegetable soup. The food is really good, I love the orange chicken, the fried rice, and chow mein is sooooo good. The service is awesome love the couple that runs the place, now that I've come in more and I think she has recognized me we have a little chatter. Definitely get plenty of food in the two item order. Shirley, you can split it between two people didn't care much for the noodles. That's because I don't like the orange noodles. The fried rice was good. I also got the orange chicken taste more like tangerine chicken, but still very tasty And the teriyaki chicken only thing about that is I don't like skin on my chicken so watch out for that. Typical Chinese fast food restaurant. Ordered a 2 item combo and hot and sour soup for under $24. They use fresh vegetables but the same veggies for my combo and soup. Button mushrooms and zucchini must be in season. Didn't find dried mushrooms typical in hot and sour soup. I also commend that their bbq pork is not dry and tough. read more

I'm sorry to say this but brutal honest review here about the food it's very wet the noodles taste old the rice taste outdated as well lack of flavor in all food. Not sure what's going on in the kitchen but the food is missing flavor not even rice has flavor. I couldn't even eat my food because I was scared to get sick everything tastes old and with no flavor. The teriyaki chicken is sitting soaking in sauce all day under a hot lamp and when I get served all I receive is fatty pieces of meat I'm sorry but after this visit I will not return. I also ordered a 6 piece wonton order and only received 4 pieces and the cream cheese very watered down too. The whole menu is watered down lacking major Chinese flavor. read more

The orange chicken was a huge disappointment. It literally tastes like only flour no chicken & it was from yesterday. So it tastes like stale flour in sauce. She wouldn't make exception and told me that she would charge me extra for the drink with no ice and my drink wouldn't be filled to the top. My husband and I went in 10 min before they were closing. Lady at the counter was extremely nice. Since they were closing a lot of the food options were not available so I was bummed however they made a new batch of orange chicken for our order which was amazing! The items we were able to try were really good. She even thru in an item we didn't order so we can try it. Great customer service and the food is really yummy.
