So I placed an order on the door dash and to start with they forgot one of the wonton soups I ordered so I was already a little upset. But I made the best of it and ate the rest of what I ordered. I ordered shrimp in lobster sauce and i didn't thing it tasted as good as I thought it would. And I found it odd that the shrimp tasted like the dry salty shrimp like you would find in a maruchan soup. But I thought it was normal. The next day I woke up throwing it all up and now my stomach has been messed up for two day!!! I told my co worker what had happened she also told me she got food poisoning from this same spot. Zero stars... horrid service and wrong food delivered. Argued for 25 min trying to get the order corrected and they just play stupid. They do not take responsibility for the missed items and don't even try to make it right. They talk to you like you are trying to rip them off and that you owe them something!!! An honest opinion: I was here many years ago and yesterday's visit proved that the large portions received, has not changed! I ordered a two-item combo of chicken with mixed vegetables and bourbon chicken. I passed on the rice and got a generous amount of chow mein. Both items were seasoned well and if you like something sweet in your plate, try the bourbon. It is moist and sweet enough where you won't need any sweet and sour sauce. Again, my portions were enough for two people but if you can finish it on one sitting, then more power to you! For a fast food Chinese place. This place is good. But don't go when it's dead or you maybe be getting cold food. The honey shrimp & sesame chicken are very good here. But the orange chicken is bland & no flavor. The rice tasted like it's been sitting there for awhile. My biggest complaint is they charge for refills so get the huge drink. A couple nights ago, a friend and I came here because we were in the area, and she loves Chinese food. Her verdict: Worst she's ever had. I got the 1-item mushroom chicken with rice. It was edible ... but the rice was way too dry. The mushroom chicken lacked strong flavor. All I could taste was salt and soy sauce. Is that how it's supposed to be? Also, the water cups had black specks in it. When I tried some orange chicken from the friend, the taste wasn't SO bad ... but I felt my throat burning a little. I know that Chinese food are not meant to be healthy, with the high amount of oil and sugar that go through it. Maybe some MSG too. But this is pretty bad, and my body knows when I'm having really crappy food. I walked out with a head ache, and regrets that we could have eaten a burrito at a Mexican restaurant next door. Or hell, even walk across the parking lot to Tokyo Teriyaki, which would have been a better bet. If you want decent Chinese food, skip this location. As one of the reviewers mentioned, Panda Express is definitely better. read more

I have been coming here for years. Their food is always good, they don't skimp on the portions. Best Chinese take out food! My favorite is their chow mein, they use good thick noodles! I haven't been able to find any good Chinese food in anaheim/garden grove area until I stumble across this place. The food is tasty and cheap. They don't skimp you on the serving size either. Coming into this place you notice the seating being very big. Big enough to seat 18 people on pushed against tables. I would say that the inside looks really bland. But it will do for large crowds. Maybe if they were to paint the walls lol. Most people just get a "to go." The people that work here will strike a conversation with you just to remind you that they're not robots too. I have ordered for delivery twice from China Wall recently, and both times hubby and I delighted with the food that came! I have to say our very favorite is their Wor Wonton Soup... Truly nectar from heaven! Also highly recommend their orange chicken. Mistakenly ordered jalapeno chicken the first time... If you like to burn your lips off that is probably the dish for you. We love all of their food. Just make sure you're getting something fresh and hot that doesn't look like it's been sitting out too long and it's great! It only gets a 4 star because the atomosphere is kind of boring. They should put some fresh flowers on their tables. You will ALWAYS get a lot of food for the money. I really was not a fan of this place. I had the orange chicken with a side of chow menu, and neither one was any good. Did I eat the food? Yes because it wasn't gross or anything. It was decent and obviously edible. But the chicken was missing a lot of flavor and the actual texture was not enjoyable. The chicken had some pieces incredibly chewy, hard to eat, and dry. As if the pieces had been drying out all day. While other pieces were just a little tough. To me it seemed like they just combined pieces or old dry chicken with a new batch made.
