We came around 11:30 AM, and there was only one other family there. I'll admit, I was a little apprehensive at first, but the food completely proved me wrong. I really liked their pho. It came with a giant rib that I literally gnawed down to the bone. The beef balls looked homemade, smaller than the usual ones you see, but that made them feel more authentic. The brisket was tender, and overall the broth and quality hit the spot. At $16, it's about the going rate these days, but this one felt worth it. We also got the shaken beef, which came with cubed potatoes and rice. That threw me off a little at first since I'm used to shaken beef just coming with rice, but I actually liked that they give you options. You can have the potatoes stir-fried with the beef so they soak up all the sauce, or have them fried separately so they stay crispy. Luckily we were able to try it both ways: The shaken beef with potatoes fried separately -- super crispy and satisfying/The shaken chicken with potatoes stir-fried together -- the sauce coated everything really well and gave it a lot of flavor. Honestly, I liked both versions for different reasons. The employee we interacted with was also really nice and we got to chatting about family and our kids. If you want to avoid driving down to Garden Grove. This place is a hidden gem located in a plaza in Anaheim. There is plenty of parking. The large is a huge bowl and the price was very fair. The pho did come out warm and not hot but at least the noodles weren't overcooked. The flavor was good and an overall good. The service was overall good and the inside is basic for any restaurant. My husband and I shop at Harvest grocery store in Anaheim a lot and never knew that there's a pho restaurant is next to it. I was hungry this morning and was looking for a noodle place . Pho HN has good reviews , so I came in to try them. Wow! Their pho broth was delicious. I ordered their house special pho. It came with a lot of meat and it came with one beef bone. I was not disappointed. It's hot and delicious. The lady who served me was very nice and friendly. Their Thai iced tea was very good too. I was afraid it's too sweet but the place made it perfect. It's not too sweet... and I can taste the tea! Most places when they serve thai iced tea tend to be too sweet, watered down with milk or creamer and barely taste any tea . Solid pho place in the area! Service was very nice, the lady taking our order was patient with us and provided us with everything we needed before we asked. Ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls and my fiancé and I shared a large pho with rare steak, brisket and tendon. Large Custom Pho (10/10) - the soup was very tasty, clean, clear and not too oily. There were a lot more noodles than I expected and not sure if it was because we exercised earlier but both of us were extremely full from just sharing the bowl. The brisket was very tender and my fiancé loved the tendon. I love how you can customize the cuts of meat you want in your order and you can choose between small, medium and large. The lady that helped us provided us with a small bowl to share without us even asking too! Shrimp and pork spring rolls (7/10) : the pork in the spring rolls is pork belly, which was a surprise. Thought it would be the sausage/spam looking pork. The shrimp was great but wished it was the sausage-looking meat instead of pork belly (maybe I'm just used to Brodard). The peanut sauce that came with the spring roll was really good and included crunchy garlic and peanut bits. Would just get the shrimp next time! Everything tasted homemade, including the small meatballs; I loved that they were small because they looked and tasted homemade in the best possible way. I ate here on a Sunday, and the staff who took my order and served it were friendly and accommodating. I got a house special pho (comes with everything). The pho itself is an 8/10; the noodles were clumped together and tasted like they were from a bag, which I didn't like. I also thought the ribs were a little dry. But that's ok! Service was great; they noticed I was struggling (I didn't even know I was struggling) to eat the pho with the big ribs in the bowl, so they handed me a plate to put them on.
