This is my go-to fast food Chinese place in Anaheim. The food variety is great. They just added milk boba drinks. They offer free samples of food items you want to try. They LOAD up my plate every single time. They practically give their food away! I can rarely finish a two-item plate. Prices are very affordable. Today, my husband and I ordered 2 two-item plates with rice/chow mein and a boba drink for $18. This will definitely serve as two separate meals...and we are voracious eaters! My favorite food items are sesame chicken, bourbon chicken, honey shrimp, and mushroom chicken. Service is very fast. It is spacious with plenty of seating. Warning: If you're looking for warm employees that smile and engage in some sort of small talk with you, then you should avoid this place completely. They aren't friendly in the least- even after coming here for years. Whatever, I don't want to be their Facebook friend, I just want food dammit. From the outside, it doesn't look like much. It's in a strip mall that's definitely seen it's better days- but my family has been coming here forever, so I got into the habit doing take-out when in the area. A two-item combo can easily feed two people. The portions are a little obnoxious and they pack the food in like it might be your last meal ever. It's cheap, too. Under $7 for a styrofoam container that sometimes has trouble closing because it's so full. What I've had: Bourbon Chicken: It's a sweeter version of teriyaki with big chunks of chicken. I don't know why it's called "bourbon chicken" because I doubt there is any in it. It's a safe choice when I don't know what I want or if I'm ordering something super spicy. Honey Walnut Shrimp: Not worth it and it's an additional cost to order it. By the time you get home, the batter has gotten gooey and is running off the shrimp. The walnuts are okay- but then again, they come with the dish and they don't cook them. My least favorite thing here. Fried Rice: Typical take-out fried rice. I prefer it over the chow mein. Not vegetarian friendly- they use chicken broth even though they say it's vegetarian. Just fair warning if you've got strict veggie or vegan friends. Chow Mein: Thick orange colored noodles, they aren't bad- but I always prefer rice over chow mein. They don't skimp on it, so you might have a carb heart attack before the end. It has veggies and bean sprouts and I always see them bringing out small batches so it's fresh. Kung Pao Chicken: This has a nice little kick to it. I don't know how I always miss the chili peppers hiding in there, but I do. I usually order if I am feeling a little stuffed up or coming down with a cold. It will open your head pretty quick. Spicy Chicken: Again, really spicy. You can tell this one apart from the Kung Pao because there are more veggies and water chestnuts floating around with the meat. I really like it though. Egg Foo Young: Just okay, but they usually make it to the order. I have seen it sitting in the serving trays before- but I would never order it like that. It looks sad. It's really oily and the vegetables are mediocre. It's cheap, but I would pass on it for a different entree item. Cream Cheese Wontons: These are made to order. They are really good. Pretty sure it's imitation crab- actually, I'd put money on it. Great way to start the meal. I remember them being pretty cheap, too. Broccoli Beef: Not my favorite. More broccoli than beef. I hate broccoli beef from take-out restaurants no matter where it's from. I feel like the beef is a weird consistency. Some people that I've been here with like it- not me. Wonton Soup: This was a go-to when I was feeling sick. It was also before I discovered pho at an early age. It's good, but you can find far better wonton soup. Tip: -I wouldn't come here if there are less than 30-minutes until closing. There are a lot of leftovers. They will give you more food, but it will definitely taste like it's been sitting there for a bit. -Go to Ralphs next door and see if there are any Pennysavers. They usually have coupons for a Buy One, Get One Free or 1/2 Off. Though it's cheap, it's always a plus if you can make it cheaper. -Their Arizona iced tea cans clearly state that they are $.99 cents. It's even printed on the can. They will charge you something stupid like $1.50. Shenanigans! -There is a fee to use a credit card. I would bring cash. -They have a tip jar up front. Put money in it, they still wont smile. I wouldn't go out of my way for this place, but it's good if you're in the area or just eating on a budget. read more

They heap your to-go box with hot, steamy Chinese food...I can never finish! My favorites are the orange chicken and honey shrimp. And their Wor Wonton soup is absolutely fantastic. They don't take credit cards and the employees are not friendly but a 2-item combo plate is only $5.69 and it's more than enough food for one person. I ordered honey shrimp, beef and broccoli, noodles, steamed rice. Two item combo. Even online it's only $13, a dollar extra for the shrimp. To start, they give you a really good amount of honey walnut shrimp for the price and the quality, The beef and broccoli is always very fresh, as well as the sides. Nothing is over salted or over drowned in sauce. I have ordered many items from the menu including kung chicken, chop Suey, fried rice, and orange chicken, all have been wonderful and fresh. Found this gem about a year ago. Luckily it's right down the street from where I live so I get it quite often. The staff is friendly and the food is much better then panda express and much cheaper. They're best dishes I have tried are the pineapple chicken and the sesame chicken. Good noodles, with very Lil veggies in it which is important for me and flavorful rice. I have had terrible chineese food in orange county but this place has taken the crown as the worst chineese food I have ever had. The bbq pork was flavorless and chewy, the rice was extremely dry, and the noodles were GREASY. In fact that night after eating there both my wife and I had severe bouts of stomach cramps. I do the 2 entree one and get teriyaki chicken, sweet and sour, fried rice, & lo mien and I had over half of the food leftover for the next day. The serving sizes are great for the price. Chow mein looked awful. Fried Rice was subpar. Got the Jalapeño Chicken and was good. Wanted to try the Honey Shrimp, well, was a little shrimp as opposed to being very breaded. The Chicken was overflowing into the shrimp side so I only got a little and paid $1 extra for shrimp. Panda is always safe because it's such a big brand . Going to small places always freak you out . Because u can get food poison . But overall it was good . Here in Washington, we have a chain called Dollar Chinese food. That is what China Wall was. It looked nearly identical to the places here but I don't think they call it Dollar Chinese because the prices are higher. The food was as fresh as you'd expect from a hole in the wall chinese restaurant and the deals weren't too bad. They didn't have sweet n sour chicken though. I mean, what Chinese restaurant doesn't have sweet n sour chicken? It was a quick bite to eat between our trips to the Disney parks and it filled us up for lunch but if we had to choose again, we'd probably look for someplace else. Budget Chinese food is just that and it's all about the same. At least it's much less expensive than visiting a full fledged Chinese restaurant and a lot quicker too. China wall probably isn't any better or worse than any other budget Chinese food place so if you're in the neighborhood and craving some Cantonese cuisine then stop on by. For Chinese fast food, this place is average. It satisfies the taste buds and the tummy. I got the two-item combo with all noodles, broccoli beef and honey shrimp. Chow mein was ok, nothing special. The broccoli beef was actually really good and the ingredients were fresh. I'm thinking, they must have just came out with a new batch right before I got there. The honey shrimp was surprisingly good for being this kinda of place, but I had to pay an extra $1 for it. The one thing that failed for me were the eggrolls. Don't waste your money on those. P.S.
