I stopped myself from biting into it thank god but does not change the fact me and my family ate all of the others that were in the same container! Worst experience ever. Called and ordered food, they delivered the wrong food + then said "bring the food back and will give you the new food" - in addition to that, they charged us incorrectly for the food the first time, so they charged us more. We paid to tip a driver for delivery and then had to go get the food ourselves. Some of the food was decent, other was disgusting. The beef teriyaki sticks were good, krab Rangoon were decent. General Tso sauce was great, but the chicken tasted old, hard and dried out. Overall, it was a very rough experience and we would not recommend or return. read more

I don't know why, but I was hesitant to try this place instead of the other local Asian places. I'm glad my fiance suggested this place though. We really liked what we got. I think they had the best teriyaki beef in the area and my super-picky-about-scallion-pancakes fiance really like their scallion pancakes (not too heavy). The chicken teriyaki was ok, I liked their chicken rice, and she thought the pork rice was ok. I thought the prices and serving sizes were comparable to their competition, so not sure what others are expecting. We didn't eat in, too cold to stay out, but we thought the place was clean. I have always enjoyed the food here but I don't enjoy being over charged. Last Saturday, I ordered one of their ALL DAY Specials among other things, and was charged an extra $1 for After 4. Their Lunch Specials state, After 4:00 pm $1.00 extra but the ALL DAY Specials do not and are well over the Lunch Special prices. We ordered food two weeks in advance for New Year's Eve. Upon arrival we found over 50 people in line ahead all also ordered. It was raining people are getting into fights in line and we waited over an hour then decided just to leave without her food. I loooove their juicy chicken teriyaki here. So freakin' good. Pretty standard, American-ized Chinese appetizers/ entrees here. Really small place, great for take-out, and a couple of tables if you want to "dine in", but I'm gonna go ahead and recommend you just get take-out, and skip the whole fluorescent lighting-people that work here standing around watching you eat-deal. Just a liiiitle bit uncomfortable. :0) They offer the regular lunch/ dinner combo plates, but they close @ 10pm on the DOT, *sometimes the lights are out way before 10, too* so make sure to place your order early. I have been coming to China wok my entire life. First order of business when I was in town from Montreal ( I have since moved out of marshfield) was to get my Chinese fix! I don't know if this place changed owners or something but I am heartbroken with what has happened to China wok. Absolutely disgusting food. I have never in my left a beef teriyaki stick on the table / my dad does same thing with the chicken wings. We threw out the entire poo poo platter as a family after every one of us was disgusted. Just bad man. Beef teriyaki undercooked covered in some weird clear slime. Chicken wings undercooked no flavor. Everything just seemed cheapest ingredients possible. You broke my heart guys. I don't know if the ownership changed but the food sure did! The last few times I have ordered from them I've ended up throwing away a good portion of it. The chicken fingers had a curious tang to them. The chicken in the lo mein had the same thing. Beef broccoli was coated in a gelatinous bad tasting sauce. The pork fried rice was over cooked and just a pile of mush. I switched to them when Hong Kong's quality went down and now I have to switch again! read more

Depending on which cook is working that day, the food can be either pretty good, or very greasy. Still it's better than the other Chinese restaurant further west on Rt 139, by a long shot. I need to figure out which cook is the greasy guy so I can order steamed food and save myself a day in the bathroom. They give you bread with your Chinese food which is bizarre, but when I moved here from the New York area a decade ago I saw that it's something New England Chinese restaurants do, but nowhere else I've been. What Boston housewife invented cream cheese filled crab rangoon? This is NOT Chinese food, they never saw cream cheese in China in this, or any other lifetime. They went too far to over "Americanize" their food to accomodate the unsophisticated taste that they presume we have. I wish it was more "hard core" Chinese cuisine to save me the trip to Chinatown in Boston. read more

I came here last weekend on a whim after leaving the fair. We were tired and hungry and slightly tipsy. We both had combination plates. There was so much food. But we were not complaining. So I live in Quincy, where there are by far a ton of chinese food places. This by far beats them all out! The crab rangoon was the best ever, and I could care less if it is made in China.. They offer coupons to encourage business. We needed to spend $40.00 to get $4.00 off. We missed it by $1.44,so asked if they would honor it,.... they said,..no... It used to be a 5 now it has fallen to a 3. Depends on who is cooking that day. Not sure if the place was sold but have not seen the original owner or employees in years. Been ordering from China Wok for years. Always happy with the food. Delivery is quick and the food is always hot and fresh.

I had to change my earlier review. Sad to say how much this place has done downhill. So inconsistent it's not funny. The Pork Friend Rice tasted like it was saved from the previous night and barely had any Pork in it. Had the shrimp fried rice one time it was great, next time it was just blah. Chicken fried rice was good the one time, not so good the next time. They don't seem to be able to understand directions like cooking something well done. They are extremely cheap with Utensils to eat with and napkins to clean your face with. General Gau's chicken is not bad but don't ask them to cook it well done because they don't seem to know what that means. Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon are the saving grace here. We used to go here 3 to 5 times a week. Now we are lucky if we go here once every two months. Small dine in area that does not have A/C in the summertime. You never know what you are going to get. Sometimes its Four Stars and sometimes its One Star. Seems more interested in getting your money than giving you solid value that makes you want to come back time and time again. Charges for extra duck sauce. Doesn't give you enough gravy for the Egg Foo Yong. Decent prices don't off set the inconsistency you experience when you buy food here. Nearly has turned me off of Chinese Food. Gives the term Cheap Chinese Food a bad name. read more
