I used to frequent here years ago. I have ordered from them 3 times in the last 6 months and will not order again. The last time I ordered they "lost" our order and I had to wait another 20 minutes. This time I ordered through ubereats. They charged me for a side of sweet and sour sauce but we did bony receive it. I requested my dish spicy and no mushrooms. Tried this place for lunch today, and thought the food was very bland. The quality of the ingredients and proteins were fine, but it tasted like the food was under seasoned, and lacked any real taste; this was the case for the egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and pork egg foo young we ordered. Also, the sesame chicken was overly sweet, and the brown gravy served with the egg foo young tasted like hot, goopy nothingness. Not the worst food ever, but far from the best. On Sunday, my family was coming over for a Chinese Dinner. I called our normal take out and delivery place and they were closed indefinitely due to the virus. I drove to the China Wok so that I could review their menu. I get there, no customers present, but wait over 5 minute before the gal was through chit chatting with a coworker. That's OK. Gave me time to review the menu. So, it was around noon and I told the gal that I wanted to place an order for delivery at 5:30 pm. In a terse manner, she informs me that they don't deliver. I said the sign outside says you do. She said No!!! So I asked that if I placed an oder now can I pick it up at 5:30 pm??? Once again her terse response was that she couldn't promise anything. It all depends on how busy they are. I left () and was able to find the China Star Chinese Take Out and Delivery which was near by. Our first time order of $90 was delivered hot, delicious and on time (please refer to my review on Yelp). They have a new customer. This is my third time getting takeout from this restaurant. I returned because I found the food from my previous experience quite,.,good. This time not so much. I tend to judge takeout food primarily on taste, but little things can sometimes give you a clue as to the care the restaurant takes with the overall preparation of the order When I arrived home I found noyys napkins, no soy sauce, no mustard, no eating utensils and no fortune cookies. This may sound pettyg particularly if the food is good but alas not the case. The beef egg fo yung patties were burned making them inedible even with the sauce. The marinated beef strips were dry and tasteless. At least the Szchwean chicken was Ok but a little watery. I don't know if it was just an off night but don't think I will be back. I'm going to stick with the Shanghai which for my money is the. best around. read more

I haven't had many impressive moments when it comes to Chinese food, but I was delightfully surprised tonight. My parents have ordered take-out from this restaurant while they've been living here and have yet to be disappointed. We arrived not even 10 minutes after calling and maybe waited 2 minutes until we were given a big smile and a bag of hot food. Everything was correct with the order, which is mandatory of course, and they were intentional to pack the bag in a way to prevent spilling. I was also pleased with how clean the restaurant and the contents of my order were. My only regret is having to reheat the food, it was so tasty while it was fresh! OMG... I just ordered lunch - and food for later. Crab Rangoon - perfect - crunchy -. I also ordered sweat and sour chicken and Tso chicken both with white meat and white rice. Both meals came with egg roll. I can not tell you how happy I was when I got home with my food. First time ordering from here and beyond impressed. Everything was so fresh and piping hot and the young lady at the counter was very nice. Under $20 bucks for everything that I ordered. I can't wait to go back. The worse chinese I have had in a long time. Soup was greasy and and I ended up throwing up from the egg drop soup. Very disappointing.

Mostly take out, only three tables for eat-in. Food was prepared quickly and served hot, but lacked seasoning and richness. Price point was very very reasonable. Overall I give it two stars. read more
