Server was very nice and explained the menu well. The decor was cool, however the food was mid at best. All the sauces were obviously poured straight from supplier bottles. The pork, ponzu, and kimchi tasted off and old. The rice was made with too much water and mushy. The pho broth had no flavor it was lacking essential spices and depth of flavor. It required so much hoisin sriracha and lime to make it palatable. The matcha and Vietnamese iced coffee were very low quality. Viet coffee lacked sweetened condensed milk and was very grey in color. While we dined pest control came in to assess an estimate. My partner refused to eat any more than 3 bites of the Peppa pig bowl due to off flavors and it upsetting her stomach. Tofu and Pork had 0 seasoning. We both left with stomach aches. Very poor experience. Server deserves a tip but want refund. read more

The cartoon-themed vibe is fun and playful. My sister-in-law ordered the fried rice, and my brother and I both got the Fiery Noodles soup bowl... and holy cow, it truly lives up to its name. Ponzu tasted very dated like soy sauce that's been out for weeks. Went for hospitality discount and should have turned around when there were 0 other people in the restaurant. During my experience 2 pest controls reps came in to quote... being there was no other people there it made it very obvious. Most owners book that type of service prior to opening. Viet coffee wasn't traditional. No sweetened condensed milk. Fried tofu had no flavor served with Sauce which was mai ploy sweet Thai chili straight from the bottle. Dumplings were bland from obviously frozen a non Asian vendor served with the previously mentioned "Ponzu" on a bed of rotted spring mix. Kimchi is apart of my regular diet. I've never had old tasting kimchi until today. I stopped 3 times on the way home to go to the bathroom. Did not finish my food as the overcooked rice paired with clashing, old flavors and misfit curry sauce was too much to handle. Thankful the server comped it, but it shouldn't have to be that way. I would've preferred enoki mushrooms or something outside of the baby Bella looking mushrooms but I appreciate the effort! Although the pork was thick and different from the usual thin sliced meat, I enjoyed the texture and taste. I was missing that soft boiled egg but still a good amount of food for the $12-14 you're paying! I had plenty of broth left over which I'll neutralize the saltiness at home with more unsalted chicken broth and add my own ramen and toppings! My cousins got the pho which everyone liked. He said he liked the pho more than the ramen broth. Plenty of oxtail in that bowl as well since it's $22 ish. The dumplings were kinda basic. I ordered the Oh Soo Good due to the 1 spice rating... the ish was 3+ even coming from my husband whose spice tolerance is very high. He order the Vong Way which was 3 spice rated and it was less spicy than mine? I mean you can even tell in this picture how spice the Oh So Good is. I order some veggie pho and it was actually SO GOOD! I could've just been hungry LOL, but I'm going to say that they were really good. It was a pretty big group of us and the customer service was pretty quick. Everyone was so friendly. The establishment was very clean and very cool looking! Luckily, everyone was able to find parking, but it looks like parking can get a bit challenging on a busy day -- so keep that in mind. I have no complaints about this place. Definitely try them out. Always a solid experience coming here! Having been to both of their locations, this location definitely feels more spacious and has more parking. The food is still the same good quality. This 2D cafe is very similar to the one in Orlando. I love the ambiance drawing on the wall. Everything like 2D cartoons. The picture perfect restaurant create opportunities for good photo op. Randomly discovered this place when searching around for a noodle shop - I've been to one 2D cafe before so that's all I had to compare it to, and I'd say this lived up to what I expected it to be. Solid oxtail pho, could've used a little more flavor in the broth but the portion was HUGE with a good amount of protein and noodles. Enough so to have leftovers the next day. Great rangoons. I had seen the location on Instagram and knew I wanted to try multiple items so we loaded up on 3 appetizers and each of us ordered our own pho. (We tried chicken and oxtail). All three of our appetizers were great and I'll order them all again, but the star for me was the pork roll. The pho was super good, I personally could have used more spice. We were the only ones in store and when we walked in, it looked like all the employees were just chatting amongst themselves while the store looked a mess. 30 minutes went by still waiting for our food, a new family came but instead of taking their order right then they decided to clean instead. our food took way longer than needed. We were planing on dining in but only got to 20% of our food before packing up. After seeing it nonstop on Instagram, I finally made my way over to Doodle Noodle Bar. My friend and I walked in and lucky for us, there was no line or wait. I didn't know it was a spot where you order at the counter then sit, just a heads up if you're expecting table service. Service was ok. No one came to check on us during our lunch. We also found ourselves lost simply looking for utensils.. this is where you realize colors matter! Ha. For food, I ordered the House Noodles + Krab Rangoon with the Passion Tea as my drink. I love noodles, so I was excited to take a bite. Unfortunately, my noodles were bland. I tried adding the chili flakes and the Sriracha but nothing elevated the dish. Then the Krab Rangoon was mostly 90% cream cheese, so this was also a skip for us after two bites. The passion tea was my favorite item and I would definitely reorder it! The owners also have a restaurant in Orlando that is called Twenty Pho Hour and when I went you had to order on the iPad and it took forever. Maybe bc we went when it first opened. I'm glad we didn't have to do that. I ordered the bubba shrimp bowl and beef jerky. Since this is Asian fusion they have Laos Sausage and Laos Beef Jerky. I liked my bubba shrimp bowl and asked for more sauce. The beef jerky was especially tough which i know beef jerky is but not the ones at Laos restaurants. I think the service was ok. Since it's counter service, they don't really have any service when you sit at the table. They come out to deliver your food but if you need something, make sure to chase them down when you see them. They were tiny, about the size of my pinky coupled with a generic sweet chili sauce. It was a lack of lackluster for what you pay. The drinks are pathetic. I came for lunch and was embarrassed for the restaurant. I got a tiny plastic cup loaded with ice for $10. It tasted ok but was practically void of alcohol. I can't imagine it's any better for dinner. I got a bowl of pho. Apparently, the sides of bean sprouts, lime, jalapeño, etc, which are supposed to come with pho have to be requested. The pho ranges from about $15+ and they have boba teas and other fun stuff! I loved the teas they were super good. I do think it was over priced though. However, they have a lot of young kids, running the counter in the kitchen and even management. I'm not sure if that's the best idea. I like to see busy restaurant because it shows people like it and the business is doing good. I ordered the Too Many Dumplings and I'm no Pho expert but this seemed more like ramen than actual Pho. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers but we were able to walk right up and order. We ordered quickly at the counter and the person who helped us had wonderful food and drink suggestions. Our food came out quickly after we found our seats. Everything was fresh and flavorful with large portions. I was able to take home leftovers that made for a nice lunch the next day. My favorite dish was the house noodle bowl and I liked my drink that the staff had recommended. My only critiques are that if the restaurant was busier we would have had to wait outside which would have been a challenge for older family members. I recently tried Doodle Noodles in Tampa, and overall, it was an okay experience but nothing particularly memorable. The atmosphere was really cool, but the service was a bit slow and inconsistent. It wasn't terrible, but it did take longer than expected to get our food and refills. As for the food, it was decent. It wasn't bad, just not something I'd rush back for. If you're in the area and craving noodles, it's an option, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it except for the cool atmopshere.
