I called to inquire about dining in and the friendliest voice popped on the other line. She was also the voice that greeted us when we got there. The decor might need a little updating but the food and service make up for that small detail. They brought out crunchy wonton sticks with sweet and sour, complimentary. We get into the restaurant, no one was there, usually if it's a good restaurant people are there early. Let's get to the food. We ordered hot and sour soup, not good, tasted corn starchy. Chow fun seafood came, it was mediocre at best, barely any sauce. Sizzling plate steak arrived with nice sizzling presentation, another disappointment, steak was cut like mini sliders, flavor was so so. Chicken curry was ok. The best dish was the calamari. It was crispy and flavorful. Overall not satisfied with our lunch. 2 stars for the calamari and service was ok. $90 for all including 20% tip no dinks. The best Chinese restaurant is usually in a hole in a wall area. I will continue searching for one. This is just my opinion coming from where Chinese food tasted amazing like 'crack' haha, j/k. Enjoyed another great experience here the other day and this time I had asked the waitress to choose for me. I let her know that I enjoy pork and spicy in my Asian dishes and she chose the Salt & Pepper Deep Fried Pork Rib for me. It's nice sometimes to go this route as they know what's good and what not, plus it makes it more of an experience not knowing exactly what you'll be having. The food arrived shortly after and looked incredible! The pork chop was sliced and deep fried that had. Nice crispy batter then stir fried with scallions, jalapeños, garlic and shallots. The flavor combination was delicious but my only regret was not ordering a side of vegetables that would of balanced out the meal. I will be sure to order some steamed bok choy next time. Have I found a really great Chinese place ? I sure did. Not the same what I had in the big apple . But surely does taste fresh and homemade and still good. The portions are given generously. "Chinatown Chinese Restaurant" Oh, no!!! What exactly is going on? The roast pork lacked flavor (apart from the sauce) and was served in a little piece. The Beef and Mixed Vegetables order was also a tad on the small side but extremely tasty. The fried dumplings were definitely from a bag (store purchased), which was a huge disappointment considering their dumplings used to be hand crafted and wonderful. The pork fried rice was extremely oily, with very little, if any, egg, not to mention an obviously little serving. The seafood tofu soup was clearly not what it formerly was, with previous ingredients and flavor conspicuously missing. To add insult to injury, our meal was served out of sequence, one order at a time, with gaps in between. I'm hoping that this was simply a terrible day for Chinatown Restaurant. Otherwise, Chinatown Restaurant risks becoming just another mediocre Chinese restaurant. read more

Honestly, what I received was disgusting. I order boneless spare ribs combo. The ribs are supposed to be covered in a red barbecue sauce. Instead I received larger boneless ribs with no sauce on them and the pork seemed a little discolored as if it was out all day. LUNCH SPECIAL This place has a great lunch special. For about $5.75 you can get a small entree with a choice of soup or egg roll and white or fried rice. We were able to do lunch for three people for $19 before tip. That's a great deal down in Naples during high season. We arrived at 2pm and we were the first table seated. While we were eating a couple of more groups arrived for lunch too. There was also a steady stream of people picking up food for carryout. This place was hoping for a Tuesday afternoon. The staff was really sweet and they definitely took pride in the food they were serving. I ordered the pork lo mein and asked for it spicy. The chef added in five dried chilis which was awesome. The dish had a nice kick to it. I also started with the egg roll and also got the fried rice. I loved that they gave me noodles and rice. Most places won't give you the rice because you are already getting noodles. I also loved that they made my fried rice with pork which paired well with my pork lo mein. My wife got the beef and broccoli and also ordered it spicy too. The chef added chilis in the dish too. She also got the egg drop soup instead of the egg roll and it was really good. Our little one went with the chicken lo mein and she loved it. It was the first time she ever ordered lo mein. You can't say no to Asian noodles. Lunch was really fantastic and the food was served incredibly fast. I also loved that I didn't feel icky after we finished eating. Sometimes Asian food can be heavy and salty. The chef's here are serving up some really great tasting Chinese food. I'm very glad we found this place and I look forward to coming back. BONUS: Two guys wearing khakis came in with a stack of sales brochures. I'm not sure why they needed so many books. One guy was totally shadowing the other sales guy. They asked to speak to the owner. The lady at the counter said he wasn't in. They then told the lady they could grow her business by 3000%. She asked what they do and they said that they are a delivery service and that all of their delivery people are very professional and they wear a uniforms. Like that makes a difference. In my experience third party delivery is always horrible. My daughter chimed in and said this conversation reminded her of the tv show "The Office". She also said that this must how Michael Scott must feel with he gets rejection on the show. The guys before they left said, "Can we get the owners name?" And the lady said, "Hong!" Bland and grizzly chicken dishes. Kung pao had merely 2 pieces of bell peppers, some other hard and tasteless unknown vegetables.

I'm appalled. This place makes mistakes, promises to remedy the situation when you are missing items in your to-go order, offering you a certain discount on the next visit, claiming they can't reimburse you back onto your card (already a red flag), and when you give them another chance, they laugh in your face, with manager, Sherly, throwing hands in the air, snorting, and refusing to honor the amount off SHE OFFERED HERSELF on the phone just a few days back. They much rather cause a scene, argue with the customer, accuse the client, play defensive, even though they begged to make amends if you give them another chance, have manager pretend she doesn't speak English, while she spoke English just fine on the phone a few days back, refuse to honor the discount for the money off the next purchase to remedy their mistake, and allow themselves to scream at a customer whom they disappointed initially from not getting the order right the first time, but who still chose to give them another chance.
