I got an offer on FB for a BOGO so we came to check this place out. I had also read positive Yelp reviews so that helped. The first thing I noticed is that with the kitchen right there, it was loud. It was hard to hear the young lady who helped us choose our food. I liked the lo mein noodles and teriyaki chicken. But the pineapple chicken had almost no flavor and while I wanted to try some plantains, they didn't look freshly made. The soda machine had 2 broken drinks so the only diet soda was a can of Diet Coke for $2. I appreciate that they have a fun brand of soda, but when you don't have a sugar free option, charging $2 for a .25 cent can is too much. Great halal mexican (puerto rican) and chinese food. I really liked the concept of the chinese take out style halal food. The chicken and rice and chowmein were awesome. My brother ordeted the birria tacos and he finished all of it as it was his first time trying them. Really awesome. I would definitely be making this one of my spots to eat whenever Im in Phoenix! This place is my latest obsession. The first time I went I didn't think too much of it because I was there during the dinner rush and I didn't know what to get. The following times were much better because I understood the ordering process. The guys who work here are so nice and genuinely want you to have a good experience. I'm not sure if they're the owners but they have that owner mentality where you can tell they want the business to thrive for the sake of it (not just there to collect a paycheck). The portions are large for the price and the food is so yummy that I was thinking about it for days after. I've always thought carne asada was kind of dry but theirs is succulent and moist. All of their dishes are juicy and delicious. Sometimes they give you free drinks depending on what you order. I have also had the Oreo cake from the fridge a couple times and that was yummy too. I don't think I would ever dine-in because it lacks ambiance but it's one heck of a takeout place! read more

Started eating halal food strictly about 2 years ago and have missed eating Chinese food so much. I can't even begin to explain how AMAZING it was to find a fusion Chinese Mexican spot that serves birria and the OG Chinese takeout options! I got the combo with 2 birria tacos, lo mein, and orange chicken. The birria tacos were hands down the BEST I ever had! I didn't even get the consommé on the side (think it may have been forgotten) , but it was moist and incredibly flavorful! The lo mein was nostalgic and it did what it needed to! But the orange chicken was a bit disappointing - doughy and dry. I would have liked a little bit more crisp and sauce for sure. My husband and daughter got the beef and broccoli and coco loco shrimp, which were finger-licking delicious! Genuinely keep thinking about making the drive to solely get a gross (aka lots) of the birria tacos, beef and broccoli, and shrimp! Also, had the cocoflan and that was bomb! read more

Everything that we had was fresh and tasty. We both ordered the #1 plates that included 2 street tacos and 2 side dishes. For our sides I had the Spicy Orange Chicken and the Lo Mein. My wife had the Salt and Pepper Shrimp and the Coconut Shrimp sides. The Street Tacos were great too. All in all a great experience and we will definitely be back! read more

Sam explained the menu and what would be a good intro plate - she did not miss as I absolutely loved the 2 quesa-birria tacos with sides of lo-mein and orange chicken! Very cool theme, even friendlier staff. However, the birria taco was just ok, not great. The tortilla used wasn't my favorite but I'm spoiled by the experience of having birria in Mexico. The eggless fried rice was so authentically amazing that I hardly saved any for my husband, and it was FOR him! I also enjoyed the fresh juice. The orders are well served and these guys are not stingy like the kids at chipotle (chipotle you are still awesome) they give scoops and a lil extra after. I recommend the pastor fried rice it's phenomenal. I will say if you have a weak stomach this might not be the place for you. My wife said it was a bit heavy. I loved it and will be going back.
