I really want to love this place. The portions were very generous. But every item was lukewarm temperature wise. Decent flavor. I had a plate with three meats on it (orange chicken, carne & broccoli and chicken pineapple. Sides lo main and pastor rice). Bottom line- it reminded me of Panda Express (which isn't a compliment in my book). I loved Chino Bandidos' Chandler location back in the day and was PRAYING this would match up. The temp on the noodles was under my preference but most people would be fine with it. This is one of those places that giving them a solid 4 is too much and a 3 is definitely too low. But I noticed one big difference is the portion of Chinese foods are getting less and less. That's why I gave them 4 stars, not 5. I have been supporting this place since the place opened. The manager or owner asked for feedback when I was there for the first time because they just opened less than a month ago. My family used to own a Chinese place so I suggested her as long as she gave enough portions of Chinese food, people would come back no matter what. Food here is great, however service is not. Cooks here have no sense of urgency when an item is out. Orange chicken is one of the best items here it should not be out at lunch time. The lo mein and orange chicken is comparable to Panda Express but far more authentic and flavorful. We came in an hour before closing and the service was great. You must try! Better than Panda!!!! They have Halal which is what I prefer and I don't know of any other Chinese places that are. They posted a certificate on their glass of where they get the products so you know it's legitimate. The place is clean and all the staff is friendly. Came into the restaurant and went to the cashier area where I already see my food on the back counter that has my name on it. I wait for the cashier since she is already helping someone. She then started helping someone else. On the third person I finally asked if I can have my food. She then tells me I need to wait in line to then get my food. (There was 6 people in line). I asked what was the point to ordering and paying for food online if I would still have to wait in line. She kept arguing with me and told me to get in line. I told her I would not go back then since I have a short lunch. She was very rude. Be prepared to wait in line even if food is ready and paid for. I will not be going back. read more

I went to Chino Mex on their soft opening and was happy I did. It was busy and because it was a soft opening we had a wait a little bit which is understandable but it was worth the wait. When we got up to order the server greeted us and apologies for the long wait. I got there munchies plate that came with two Birria tacos and two sides which I chose jalapeno chicken and chow mein. The tacos were so good and full of flavor. The best part was eating the tacos then having a bite of chow mein! The combination worked for me and the jalapeno chicken is one of my favorite sides there. My wife really enjoyed her Birria ramen she says the brother and meat was super tender and tasty. When my wife went to the salsa bar to get some onions for her ramen she that her ramen tasted like her favorite dish Bun Bo Hue which is Vietnamese spicy beef noodle soup. We are glad that we stopped by and have been back a second time already. We will for sure come back again for lunch and dinner. It's a great place to get tasty food! read more

Went to the soft opening. They were serving people at a glacial pace with none of their main entrees showing up on their board. All understandable during the soft opening. However food was terrible. Their fried rice was both burnt and raw (hadn't properly cooked the rice before frying it) and their chicken entrée was not evenly salted which means that some pieces were super salty while the others were bland. Hope they fix these initial starting issues soon. read more
