    Oatmeal Apple Pie (5)

Needed something sweet and decided to try chip city. I went with the oatmeal apple pie cookie. The filling was not overly sweet and it paired well with the oatmeal flavor. Definitely a must to try.

Such great cookies and flavors! Service is quick and they are opened late too. Store itself is small so you cannot really eat and hang out with friends there. However, it is very close to the water so you can relax and eat and chill there.

I've been back a few times for the specialty cookies! I love that they always try to offer something different. Shop is pretty small with barely any tables - def a grab and go spot! I've tried the lucky charms cookie, rainbow cookie, cookies n crème cookie and the most recent, a banana crème pie! Each are unique and pretty good! Some taste fresher than others depending how long they are sitting out. I will say they are a bit pricey, IMO. But it's not a terrible way to treat yourself if you're in the mood for something sweet!!

One word....YUMMY! Is there ANYTHING better after a late night bar crawling one's way through Hoboken? Big, hella thick, delicious! Friendly service too. My friend and I got there late at night. They only had the chocolate chips and the cookies and cream left. We got one of each and the young man working the counter said they were buy two get one free. Say no more friend!!!!! my friend and I each tore one up while we were walking back to the parking garage. The cookies were warm, soft gooey and chewy. The third cookie stayed in my purse. Don't think I was gonna share that with anybody no friends that last cookie was just for me greedy I know, but when something taste good, you need to save a little something something just for yourself. do you need something to satisfy your craving for sweets? Go for it satisfy your cookie craving in the best possible way!!!

Can I give more than five stars? Five stars squared for these DELICOUS cookies! They're well priced and totally worth it! The cookies are fresh and yummy. And you also have the option to warm the cookies once you get home! The staff could not be friendlier. The service was absolutely awesome and welcoming! Kudos for such a great place! I forgot the name of the girl who helped me and I'm so bummed because she's just the nicest person and can put a smile on anyone's face. In fact, if want a happy place go grab a great cookie from some great people to put a smile on your face.

Oo these cookies could get somebody in trouble! So good. Warm, gooey, big. So good! I tried the milk chocolate chip cookie and the Oreo cookie. There were at least 4 other options - one non dairy and two with peanut butter. I really wanted the dark chocolate but unfortunately can't have peanut butter. But the milk chocolate was sooo good. Big and fluffy. Nice crunch on the outside and soft almost cake/scone like in the inside. Warm! Really couldn't eat the whole thing but I did lol. I did taste my second cookie. I wouldn't say it's my fav as the white chocolate part taste weird/off. My only thing here is I wish there was a dark chocolate chip cookie without the nut butter.

Came here because I had a random sweet tooth. One thing I do love is a good cookie and Chip City is the a good place to get one. The place is small and minimal seating so it's designed to get your cookie and go. While they had quite a few flavors, I had my heart set on the Chocolate Chip cookie. This cookie was warm, thick, and gooey just like a cookie should be. I didn't think it was going to be as big as it. You can definitely share the cookie unless you're a big sweets eater. The cookie was thick with a good amount of chocolate chips and a moist center. Definitely a better quality cookie than Insomnia. Great addition to Hoboken, i'll definitely come back after running a few miles.

Wowowow! These cookies are out of this world. I went both days i was in town visiting. I loved the hazelnut sea salt rotating cookie. I did not care for the vegan one (it is just more crunchy and less soft and doughy).

Amazing!!!! Warm fresh cookies. Crispy on the outside gooey on the inside. I love the chocolate peanut butter one. Chocolate chip was good too. Thick, big and delicious. Awesome staff as well. She gave me the exact cookie I wanted, she read my mind. I told her that, and she said she always serves the cookie she would want. I love that!! 10 stars.

Great addition to the mile square! I'm a bang cookie fan and was excited that chip city came to town to have a staple big AF cookie joint in town. (NOTE: Insomnia cookie is also great, just more basic late night vibe in comparison) I love that chip city is constantly rotating flavors (that's what keeps me coming back), the cookies are the perfect size. Staff is very friendly and attentive to customers. The inside is small, brightly decorated and every cookie I've bought from them has come fresh and warm so I suggest ordering ahead to avoid waiting. Great option to order when friends come over or something special to grab as a hostess gift on our way out of town.

Not only…read moreare the desserts incredible, but the employees were so friendly and pleasant to deal with as well. The star of the show is, of course, the Merveilleux. It's made with light, airy meringue and whipped cream, then covered in chocolate shavings. It somehow manages to be rich and delicate at the same time. I can see why it's their signature dessert. They offer different flavors and sizes too, from mini versions to larger cakes that are perfect for sharing. One of the coolest parts of visiting is that the kitchen is completely open. You can watch the pastry chefs assembling these beautiful creations right in front of you. It's mesmerizing and makes the whole experience feel special. The bakery has roots in Northern France and Belgium, where the Merveilleux originated, but pastry chef Frédéric Vaucamps reinvented the classic recipe to make it lighter and more modern. Whatever he did worked because these pastries are unforgettable. A quick tip: cash only, so come prepared. Honestly, if you're anywhere nearby, I think you need to run there. Between the amazing desserts, the friendly staff, and the chance to watch everything being made fresh, it's one of the most enjoyable bakery experiences I've had in a long time. I know you won't be sorry!

Aux Merveilleux de Fred is a tiny, beautifully fragrant shop on 8th Ave. I ordered the cold brew black and it was one of the smoothest, most satisfying first cups of the day I've had in a long time. Finding genuinely good black cold brew in this city is harder than it should be, and this one hit the spot so perfectly I made a second solo trip before sundown. The chocolate and almond croissant was delicate, flaky, and exactly what a croissant should be. The shop itself is small, no indoor seating, but two benches out front! The staff was warm and the whole place smells incredible the moment you walk in. I've already earmarked the Cramique for my next visit, because if it's anywhere near as good as everything else, I'm in trouble. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

The staff is all very nice and the food comes out quickly. portion sizes are decent for lunch items and things like french toast are above average. I liked that they used real tableware that had some weight to it as opposed to plastic, we accidentally knocked over a glass as we were leaving and it hit the ground but didn't break so that was a big relief but it makes the dining experience feel like more thought was put into it when even the table ware is of good quality. Overall it seems like a place that will be around for a long time, and you should definitely visit if you're in the area.
