Keep in mind I've had these cooked twice within four days. I tried this shop randomly with a couple of friends. I can't remember exactly what we the others got, but I got the biscoff cookie with cream cheese, caramel, condensed milk and toffee bits and oh my. Holy delicious. Just how I like my cookies: sweet, chewy, warm and so softy The lady who took our order and customizations was very kind, however, my only concern was the fly buzzing around. I kept a close eye to make sure it didn't land on my choice of toppings while I was there

This place just blew me away! Hungry for an afternoon suger snack I perused my online map and found this cookie place. OK, who can pass up a cookie? Located in a newer shopping strip mall area since I was there already I just wandered over to check it out. Skip Safeway... I just wanted one cookie, a GOOD cookie. Arriving at Chip Cookies is like arriving at Neiman Marcus on steroids for cookies! The place is magnificent and cookies take the place of high end jewelry. Watch out Harry Winston! Entering this palace of cookie wonder not only shocked me but delighted me too. Well, why not go high end with cookies! The place is pristine, contemporary and beautifully detailed. It's a franchise and the woman behind the counter was delightful, I presume an owner. The story of Chip Cookies is between the restroom and payment counter, if you're curious. The Cookies, the base ones anway, are on display for you to choose and they are awesome, like gems in a beautiful glass case. Look awestruck, but don't touch. You select your cookie and then there are a multitude of optional add-ons to customize your cookie. I chose a chocolate chip type cookie, and they are a bit larger than the super sized large ones in supermarkets. From there I had a swirling of white chocolate and toasted coconut on top and voila, a custom 'Tom B' cookie! It's warmed and put into a white jewel box with gold trim for you to take or eat there. Tiffany's beware, it's not a blue box but this might become as iconic! There's limited seating space but I ate it there as I was on the run but wanted to savor this cookie treat, warmed! The cookie was indeed very, very good. I was in cookie heaven. It resolved my cookie craving and I was more than satisfied. Although, like Neiman Marcus or Tiffany's I walked out with a hole in my wallet. The base cookie was $5. and with the extras and a bit of a tip it came to nearly $7. That's one heck of an expensive cookie, but in the moment it was pure bliss. Tiffany's, btw, offers the same type of experience. You come out elated, uplifted with quality merchandise, and broke. I would go back to Chip Cookie when the extreme craving hits, and it's convenient, but I will not get the frequent flyer program just yet. They do have smaller cookies for a box too. Impress your family and friends! Try it. Go to an ATM first!

The cookies are amazing soft , fluffy and delicious!!! I would have gave this place 5 stars but the young lady that helped us was really rude and inpatient. As me and my wife are trying to decide what cookies we wanted she was like " have you guys decided already " with a snotty attitude. My wife asked how much the their uncooked dough was and she said " it's right there on the menu " really rude . Idk if she was having a bad day or what ?? we were excited to visit it was our first time there and the lady treated us really rude and it wasn't even close to closing time. It was about 1115 they close at 12. It's like she wanted to get us out of there. Me and my wife definitely want to go back but we'll probably try a different location where we feel welcomed.

Must-Try Cookie Spot! Thick, moist, homemade-tasting cookies that are worth every penny. Perfect for a late-night sweet treat, with a unique restaurant vibe that sets it apart. As well as workers are very sweet and owner Highly recommend!

Holy cow! These were so tasty!! We stopped by after dinner one night. The place was empty and the young man behind the counter welcomed us. He asked if we had ever visited before which we had not, he explained how it worked. You pick a cookie flavor and then what toppings, if any, that you want to add or you can select one of their "pre-designed" cookies. We got the BTS, which was a caramel forward cookie, very delicious. The hot cocoa which was so warm and had gooey marshmallow! Their brookie which is their og cookie and cocoa cookie, and last we got the Oreo blast!! All were very good. They had enough options but not too many to overwhelm.

The perfect place to grab dessert if you have a sweet tooth! They have a variety of cookies that you can choose from. I got the biscoff cookie and it was very tasty. I loved the filling in the middle. The workers were very friendly and explained how everything worked as it was my first time here. Just an fyi, there are no seats inside so you do have to take it to-go.

We stumbled upon Chip while waiting for our hotel room and glad we did! The employee explained how it all worked as we'd never been there and we set off picking our cookies! We ended up with a box of 4 for a very reasonable price, somewhere around $20. The cookies are huge! Warm and delicious, and you get to choose any toppings you'd like! There's different sauces, Oreos, chocolate chips, toasted coconut, and much more!! The cookies are presented in a lovely box for you to take home or to eat in! We sat inside to eat our creations. The inside was clean and bright with a few tables. There are also a few different bottled drinks for purchase at the front counter. Don't hesitate to give Chip a try! If you like Crumbl you'll like Chip more!

I passed through the shopping area and saw the sign 'warm cookie' so I had to try it! I ordered OG and added custom toppings (nuttella & peanut butter drizzle and Reese's pieces). Total came up to $6.49 (the custom toppings were $1 extra). Once I opened the box, I could smell the delicious peanut butter drizzle. The cookie was good - it had crispy edges and solid in the core (not really soft type). It had good sweetness level and had a hint of saltiness. The peanut butter drizzle was the best! It gave salty taste to balance the sweetness of the cookie.

This is the perfect place for a warm cookie. We were here on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all. There were 2 people in line before us and while we were there 2 patrons came after us. I loved they had displays, so you could check out what you want. The far end there is a case showcasing all the cookies they have to offer. I got the ginger cookie. I'm not a big frosting fan so I got it plain. It was delicious. Warm right out of the oven. After returning home and reading other reviews I learned they have day old cookies next to the register for half off. I wish I knew that, I would have picked up a few cookies to take home. Parking was a breeze. They have a private lot and there was plenty of spaces to choose from. The place is immaculate. I loved been greeted with such cleanliness. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and were patient with me as this was my first time.

Thank you Chip Cookies!!! Found out about this place because of a YEE event I attended! It's close by, and it's also right next to my dog's vet! What could be better! With 4.5 stars my hopes were up, even though the cookies seemed a bit overdone... like oh my, how much sugar can a person ingest in one bite?! Though perhaps the cookies would have been better with some toppings on them. No one else was in there and I got a friendly welcome and orientation from the cookie lady. I can't remember the name of the dark chocolate chip cookie with sea salt (OG??), but opted for one of those and one cocoa cookie. They are puffy and very dense. I picked them up to bring to someone but she declined and I'm glad! I tried both and the chocolate chip one is just dense with very little buttery flavor and just nothing to make me want to waste more calories on it. The cocoa one is better. At least it does have pretty good chocolatey flavor. At $4.95 for a plain (undecorated) cookie, it's pretty steep. I can't go back. Sorry. read more

Are the cookies $5? Yes. Are they the best cookies you'll ever eat? Also yes. I got the OG (chocolate chip) and the dark chocolate sea salt. The cookies are huge and soft in the middle but not undercooked. Firm on the bottom. They also have a loyalty program to earn points. read more

Soooo we stopped by and got 2 OG cookies to go and ate the Biscoff Chip cookie with ice cream (gourmet chip cookie made with biscoff cookies, white chocolate chips + stuffed with biscoff cookie butter). The cookie was hard and it was so hard to enjoy it with the ice cream. The OG cookie was amazing! The service was good. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The owner was very sweet and accommodating! I had a brief frustrating experience with one of their newer employees the other day but the owner was very quick to reach out which I could appreciate . Tried this place for the first time. You start at the back of the shop and pick your cookie. I went with one of their popular custom cookies (tres leches)and a plain chocolate chip. While the cookies are thick, I was concerned they would be dry but to our surprise they were pretty good. I really enjoyed the custom cookie. The whipped cream and the drizzle made the cookie for me. Tho it was hard to finish a whole cookie. There are no seats or tables on the inside so expect to take it to go. read more

Let's just say this cookie snob was impressed. My mom was a baker and the expectations were low. After an amazing intro to how it works, I chose a O.G. cookie since it's their award winner, and I got it with chocolate sauce (not too sweet, which is nice) and with coconut flakes. When I bit into this cookie I was transported. I was blown away the first bite at how balanced the flavor was on the cookie and that it wasn't a sugar dump. It was delightful. I can't eat cookies from other places because they are too sweet but my friend ensured me that Chip was light years better and she was so right. If you go here take your time and enjoy the experience. read more

Okay these cookies are worth the money. If you're broke just say that. I wanted to try these, and I came on the last day of the pumpkin chocolate chip. I decided to do the 4 pack for $20 bucks which honestly with inflation I don't think that's terrible. I couldn't believe how beautiful and perfectly made they were. They are literal perfection!!!!! This is going to me my go to cookie spot because these are immaculate. Everything you ever want in a cookie if you ask me! The young women in there too were super kind and knowledgeable and it was just a whole vibe for my first time. They also have a new cookie weekly which I thought was cool. read more

My first and only time stopping by was last week while leaving safeways grocery store. i don't like crumbl cookie, but was craving a sweet treat so i was excited to see this new cookie store! i got a sugar cookie, but they actually just grabbed a plain cookie, added frosting and sprinkles kinda like subway. it was a cute experience! but ive never in my entire life. had such a hard brick cookie. not only was sugar cookie frosting a WAY too sweet... warm? buttercream like for red velvet, the temperature and texture threw me off completely. the icing was super warm and thin, usually sugar cookie icing is thick and hard. i was grossed out within one bite. also FIVE dollar cookies? :/ bummer. lastly i wanted to grab a drink on the way out, all the fridges are WARM! all the drinks were hot! maybe the fridges just aren't working which is why the icing was super warm too. definitely not coming back at all. great customer service though the girl was super sweet and i tipped read more

I got the Biscoff Chip Chipzookie and it was so good! Definitely on the sweeter side. My cookie was cold which I wished wasn't the case, but still good. The service was friendly and very helpful considering it was our first time there. It was on the more pricey side, but everything is going up nowadays. Chip had a pop up on R street where they charged $6 for a cookie and $2 for coffee. We made one chocolate chip purchase with a cup of coffee and was charged $23. We tried to let them know this up front and they said it was only $9 but wouldn't offer receipt. When we went home the bank showed it was $23 and change charge. After emailing them and they reiterated it was $9 and asked for a bank receipt. We sent the receipt and they ghosted us. Wack read more

I first went to ChipCookie in Idaho and when I head they were opening one in Sacramento I was so excited! They just had their grand opening it and it was super busy, and kind enough they were handing out the OG ChipCookies out for free! The inside of the store was so aesthetic and cozy, the customer service and energy of the store was really exceptional & incomparable. The cookies were truly warm and moist! I came to this place couple days ago to get some sweets for my boyfriend. The shop is so adorable and the ladies that were helping me were so nice and they've explained everything so well. My boyfriend really enjoyed the cookies. They were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! I had to come by the next day to experience them for myself. I was helped by two ladies. I believe they are the owners and they were so nice and attentive. Overall amazing service, beautiful aesthetic of the shop and most importantly amazing and delicious cookies! I will be coming back again! :) read more

I was in Sac for the day and been seeing them on TikTok so I thought I'd give them a try. They are really high priced cookies so I just got one. I got their sugar cookie with cream cheese frosting and bat sprinkles. My bestie got the chocolate chip and ice cream combo. She said the taste was better than another place she'd tried but the cookies were not warm as advertised and a little hard. As far as my sugar cookie it was hard like really hard. I like a crispy cookie but that was over done. The little of it I did eat, cream cheese frosting was really sweet but good and the cookies had good flavor. The store was clean and the service was good. Our only other issue was that my bestie asked to use the rest room but they don't allow it which is fine but the rest room is in the front of the store which makes it awkward for the staff to have to deny access. read more

To begin with, I don't think this is the place for me as I tried to make an honest effort to enjoy their cookies on multiple occasions, but my opinion hasn't changed. I love that the interior is always pleasantly clean and has a great vibe, but it's not enough to keep me coming back. Most of their cookies are already sweet, but when paired with the cream cheese frosting? It becomes overbearing. I am also not a fan of their cookie base. The excessively mushy and gooey texture could give the impression that the center is raw, even when it isn't. And because it also takes up around 99 percent of the cookie, eating it almost felt sickening to the stomach. The outer layer was the only part I could tolerate because it was well-baked and crispy. Also, I don't think it's worth paying almost $5 for their "boneless" cookie, especially when they charge for the box on top of everything. read more

The owners of Chip are amazing! They were very helpful, flexible, and willing to make sure we got the freshest cookies made early in the morning for our event. Everyone loved the variety, but especially the taste of the closest thing you can get from making them at home yourself. Thank you so much-my brother-in-law would've loved them! I came here around 7pm on a Monday for an after dinner treat and was very disappointed. The flavor of the cookies were good but it was rock hard. I thought it was supposed to be warm and soft. If you sell overpriced cookies then the quality should be the same even if it's in the evening on a slow day. Crumbl would never serve me what you guys did! read more

The cookies are good. I love the biscoff cookie, it has "i think" cookie butter in the center which is sooooo good!! Sometimes I sit and think about that cookie....lol!!! All are pretty good but my favorite is that one. Just wish it didn't have white chips...would like it to be without and only with that yummy filling only. I will definitely be back, I used to be a crumble cookie fan when they first open but I feel they have changed their recipe so this is my new "cookie fix" spot. read more

Let me tell you, I am a COOKIE FANATIC and have been longing to visit NY just for their cookies but have yet to do so...anyways, I tried almost every place in Sac but this is the one place that meets all expectations! Lets say me and my GF have found our favorite cookie shop in Sacramento. We are based in woodland but my gf and I visit this shop every 2 weeks to treat ourselves to these delicious cookies. The shop has seating which is great and eat the cookie warm. My favorite is OG classic milk chocolate. My gf favorite is Tres Leches with ice cream. The owners are very friendly and its very fast service. Much better place and customer service than Crumbl cookie. read more

Finally!! The best cookies in Sacramento area. My family and I have made this a weekly visit. Our personal favorite is Chipzookie (cookie and ice cream). Staff is super friendly. Best cookies in Sac town!! I came in to the smell of warm cookies and it reminded me of my childhood memories! I tried the pumpkin Nutella Chip which was the cookie of the week. I walked out of the cookie shop having spent only spending $5 (including tip). The inside of the store had a contemporary, inviting feel. The staff member who assisted me was affable. I said that's fine, then can I at least have the regular 4-pack box since that's what the menu advertises? She still said no. Instead, she put each huge cookie in a tiny wax paper sleeve, didn't give me a box, and didn't even offer a bag. She just left them on the counter for us to grab. As we were walking to the car, one slipped out of my daughter's hand. She handed me the other three and was about to go back inside when two more slipped out of my hands because those little sleeves were so slippery. By then we were so annoyed that we didn't even want to go back in and deal with the same employee. We got in the car, and the last cookie fell inside my car. All four cookies were ruined before we even left the parking lot. I called the store on my way home and spoke with Nav. He was much more understanding and even said I should have been given at least a box because carrying four cookies like that didn't make sense. Since I live in Elk Grove and didn't want to spend my birthday driving all the way back to Fair Oaks, he said I could come back another day for replacements. My sister lives much closer, so I asked if she could pick them up for me. Even that became an issue because Nav initially said I needed to be the one to pick them up. Then the employee argued that we only dropped one cookie. No, we lost all four because they weren't packaged properly. The whole thing was completely avoidable. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I just wanted the 4-pack to come in the box that's advertised on the menu, or at the very least a bag. Instead, I spent $18.50 on cookies that were ruined before I even got home. What was supposed to be a nice birthday treat turned into a frustrating experience, and honestly, I won't be coming back.
